Brask reacts quickly, ripping the sticky filament off his chest and flinging it off to the side. He smiles and pats his maul, happy to be seeing some action again.
The cave fisher raises its head slightly as it sucks up its fishing line. It hugs close to the tunnel ceiling, about twenty or thirty feet above your heads, and prepares for its next attack.
It was actually Burik's turn, although not a big deal since you both go before the cave fisher. Brask, what are you attacking with and how are you attacking? This thing is hanging from the ceiling right now and isn't in range of your maul.
The spiritual weapon slices into the carapace of the cave fisher as it reels back and lets out a high-pitched shriek. It steadies itself along the ceiling, though, and is able to side-step the necrotic hand as it slams itself into the rock wall, vanishing in a puff of purple mist.
At this point the tunnel you're in is lit up enough with Burik's flaming axe and (I assume) your Goggles allow you to see pretty well anyway. You can use the attack above but will have to reroll for handaxe damage.
Effort, you can take your turn while Brask rolls damage.
The axe whizzes through the air, catching the cave fisher in its left claw and leaving a dark gash that spits a bit of blood.
The blast narrowly misses the cave fisher, exploding against the tunnel ceiling and sending debris raining down. The fisher turns toward Effort, crawling quickly over her head as it extends the adhesive filament once again. Effort, roll a DC13 strength check with disadvantage.
The filament sticks to Effort, and as she tries to struggle away from it, it only seems to stick to her more. The cave fisher positions itself right over Effort and starts to reel her in.
Cadmael,Effort thinks to her familiar. I'm rather bound up here. Deliver this bastard a spell from me, will you?
As you wish, master, Cadmael says, preparing to fly up towards the cave fisher.
(Technically speaking, I believe Cadmael will have to release Effort's attack on Effort's turn, so he's just readying himself to deliver a touch spell I guess! Also, just everyone else, do what you like, but you don't have to worry about releasing Effort if you want to attack the cave fisher instead, which I would highly recommend...)
OK, how are you doing that? Grabbing the filament and pulling?
This time the fisher seems to sense the spiritual weapon swinging around, and it quickly crawls out of the way. It resumes pulling Effort up. She struggles, but her feet lift off the ground as the fisher reels in the filament.
Roll strength check with disadvantage as well, Brask.

Sorry.

Wow!
Haha, holy shit! I guess...you are not grappled.
Rd 1: Cadmael > Burik > Brask > Effort > Cave Fisher

Cadmael does a Flyby of the cave fisher, distracting it just long enough to give Brask help on his next attack.
Attack: 23 Damage: 12
These sodding things need to stop jumping on me. Die, spider... thing! What is this?

Sorry, I misread. Will wait for Burik to take his turn.
Burik will summon Spiritual weapon next to the creature.
Attack: 23 Damage: 11 force
Following it up with a chill touch
Attack: 6 Damage: 4 necrotic
The spiritual weapon slices into the carapace of the cave fisher as it reels back and lets out a high-pitched shriek. It steadies itself along the ceiling, though, and is able to side-step the necrotic hand as it slams itself into the rock wall, vanishing in a puff of purple mist.
OK, Brask, you're up!
DM - Above & Below
Unable to see anything to attack, Brask growls What? and pulls out a handaxe. He throws it at the last place he saw the spider thing:
If he can't make an attack, then I guess the axe bounces and falls to the ground. If he can, then it's with the roll above, or 4 if with disadvantage.
At this point the tunnel you're in is lit up enough with Burik's flaming axe and (I assume) your Goggles allow you to see pretty well anyway. You can use the attack above but will have to reroll for handaxe damage.
Effort, you can take your turn while Brask rolls damage.

Handaxe damage: 9
Effort looks up in disgust, murmuring under her breath as she points at the fisher and hexes it (giving it disadvantage to strength checks).
She then takes aim with her eldritch blast:
Attack: 10 Damage: 4
If it hits, an additional 4 necrotic damage.
The blast narrowly misses the cave fisher, exploding against the tunnel ceiling and sending debris raining down. The fisher turns toward Effort, crawling quickly over her head as it extends the adhesive filament once again. Effort, roll a DC13 strength check with disadvantage.

(Haha, I don't think I really have to roll at all, haha... but here you go)

The filament sticks to Effort, and as she tries to struggle away from it, it only seems to stick to her more. The cave fisher positions itself right over Effort and starts to reel her in.

Cadmael is up, followed by Burik.

Burik will make the spiritual weapon attack again 7 dmg: 11
And then move towards effort, but instead of trying to free her, would try to pull the creature down to the ground (if possible)
OK, how are you doing that? Grabbing the filament and pulling?

Yeah, grabbing on the filament.
