Xyr attempts to knock the key bearer away, but he's a moment too late. The torch light reveals his attack and the cultist throws a shoulder into him, knocking him back. "Who are you that dare encroach on the workings of The Destroyer?"
Round 1: Burik > Xyr > Brask > Sam > Cultists
Xyr, you're up! Two of them are in the room with you - the other four, on the other side of Burik.
Xyr jumps out in front of the man with a beat of his wings, blocking his path out to the part of the sewer where they had fought the rats. "Xyrfaen Redspire. You are hereby detained for investigation into the murder of eight individuals." He places a claw on the man's chest, trying to grab a handful of cloth as he looks over the man's shoulder, "All of you."
Mechanics:
Turn: Bonus: Cunning Action - Disengage Move: To the front of the keybearer Action: Grapple vs keybearer: 5
The keybearer goes to push Xyr's hand away. Opposed check: 6
"Murder? What is murder compared to the hunger of our Prince?" He pulls out a scimitar, and the others begin to as well. "I suppose you lot are about to find out."
Brask, you're up. You can take two attacks now. The room isn't that big so you were probably within 30 feet.
Cultists. That's a new one. But I reckon their skulls split as good as any bandit.
Second main attack:
Attack: 21 Damage: 9
Brask's maul is flying, and the noise of impact with cultist bones is a delightful thud. He's grinning widely as his blows land, but despite his words, he is aiming to clonk these guys on the backs of their heads and do non-lethal damage.
As they pull their weapons, Brask's enormous maul appears in front of the torchbearer. It smashes into the side of his head, and Brask can hear bone exploding beneath the flesh. Whoops. The scimitar and torch fall to the sewer floor as the lifeless body crumples. Brask pivots, his maul continuing to cut through the humid air, cracking into the back of the key-bearer. He is knocked forward onto his face, his weapon sliding across the floor. He seems to be unconscious.
Sam backs up Burik, readying a reaction if the remaining cultists decide to continue the fight.
The four men on the other side of the door watch as their two companions are killed and knocked unconscious. Their eyes grow wide, and it almost seems as though a thin smile appears on their faces. Adrenaline pumping, the one in front pulls his scimitar across his own chest, opening a not-so-minor looking wound. Warm blood drenching the rest of his robes, he charges forward at Burik, screaming, with the other three right behind him.
They swarm all over Burik, attacking like a pack of wild animals. Blades swinging recklessly as they chop at the cleric. He's quickly overwhelmed, and Sam squeezes into the doorway to join the fray. He brings his shortsword over his head and swings it down at one of the cultists.
The blade cuts deeply across one of their shoulders, spraying a bit of blood onto the already damp floor. He winces in pain, but then smiles, a bit of blood in his mouth. "I gladly bleed for our Prince!"

Xyr steps out of the way of the keybearer as he's knocked onto the ground, wings flapping. Watching a moment to see if the man would get up again delays him enough to be too late to stand by Burik's side as he's swarmed with attacks. With an annoyed squawk he jumps forward, jabbing the tip of his weapon at one of the cultist, then following it up with an upward swing of the other side.
Mechanics:
Turn: Move: To melee with a cultist in melee with Buri Action: Attack vs Cultist: 22 Damage: 9 Bonus: Attack vs Cultist: 9 Damage: 4 Sneak attack on first hit during turn: 5, if crit add 5
Xyr jabs into the chest of the injured cultist, finishing him off. The upward swing of his weapon slices the next in line, cutting through his robes and chest.
Brask, you're up! Three conscious cultists remain.

Thwack!
Attack: 23 Damage: 11
The maul comes crashing down towards another hapless cultist's head, as Brask is still dutifully trying to knock them out and not kill them. Not going well for you guys today, eh? Why not just lay down your weapons?
Brask knocks another one unconscious as he falls onto his back. The final two laugh at Brask's suggestion of giving up. "We would rather feed the Prince with our blood than surrender to the likes of you non-believers." They rush foward and hack at Brask with their scimitars.
Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Attack: 13 Damage: 4
As they bring down their blades onto Brask, Sam steps up again and cuts at the nearest cultist with his shortsword.
Both cultists seem to shake off the necrotic energy emanating from Burik. One notices some blood spatter on his arm, and licks it off as he stares at the cleric with a sideways grin.

"Brask! Forget knocking them out if it means you'll end up dying!" Xyr cries out as he advances, "These won't surrender, and we already have the leader!"
Mechanics:
Turn: Move: - Action: Attack vs Cultist: 21 Damage: 8 Bonus: Attack vs Cultist: 16 Damage: 4 Sneak attack on first hit during turn: 5, if crit add 1
Xyr fells another cultist, swinging his blade gracefully in the narrow corridor. The final foe stands proud, though, and laughs at Xyr's exclamation. "Leader? You are truly lost, you feathered fool."
Channeling Hank Aaron, not that he would get that reference, Brask swings and knocks the cultist's head clean off of his body. It rolls down the sewer back from wherever they came from, the body standing there motionless for a split second before falling backward. "Damn," Sam looks at Brask with wide eyes. "Well fought, everyone. Now...what do we do with this one?" He gestures to the unconscious cultist who was carrying the keys.

Are any of them within range of Brask, to trigger the readied attack action?
