Waves of Peril

Gridolpho listens at the trapdoor.

“Do you want help now?” Maya would chance asking the grumpy thief. 

Perception: 6

(lol maybe not)

After a few minutes of listening to the trapdoor, you determine that it is probably safe, to open the trapdoor.

"Maybe I could hear if you weren't yapping about help all the time. Anyways, coast's clear."

Maya would roll her eyes, then bow sarcastically to Gridolpho holding out her hand to gesture for him to take the door first. “Says the coward” 

"Two hidden doors and a pressure plate trap ain't good enough for ya? Fine!"

Gridolpho slips through the trapdoor as quietly as possible.

Beyond the trapdoor lies a small room filled with large wooden barrels, some of them are sealed while others are not. glancing into an unopened one you see what appears to be salt. A wooden door  is set in the middle of the wall to your left'.

Maya would follow right behind Gridolpho. “Someone’s a little salty.” She’d snicker at her own joke while she approaches a barrel of salt. In all seriousness though, Maya would begin inspecting the barrels even closer. If they didn’t appear to be food storage reserves, she would look to see if they could be materials used in cult rituals. 

Bertrand rolls his eyes as well, but more at the both them then at either one individually. "Save the bickering once we finish here."

(Maya) Do you unseal any of the barrels?

(Can I try sniffing them first? Does it have a smell? Are there any markings or spillage on the barrels?)

(Maya) Yes you can. Around the bottom of the barrel you're examining is a mostly clear liquid with some seeds. (Make a Perception Check DC5)

Gridolpho cracks the door and peeks outside.

Argus quietly follows everyone into the room with barrels, standing at the ready....

Seethe stands behind Gridolpho as he peeks outside trying trying to act as if she knows what she is doing.
