The Queen gestures, and the bindings are removed. She then turns to Minister Ortho, and inclines her head. " Our hunters believe that Thousands Teeth's lair lies along the Dunwater River, around 10-15 miles inland." Minister Ortho tells the Party.
"Thank you." Maya bows her head in appreciation when the queen orders their bindings removed. She'd link arms with Toonary and pat him on the arm, "Perhaps upon our successful return we could befriend the queen and her people with bacon and arm linking. For now this is an agreement to facilitate trust." The druid would give a reassuring smile. "Unless there is anything else worth mentioning, we can take our leave to begin our journey."
Captain Vyth, and two of his guards lead you from the Throne Room. However, you are not led back down the corridors that you passed through. Instead the Party is taken in the opposite direction. You arrive at a large cave. At the opposite end is a 15' wide by 10' high exit. (The Cave is 40' wide. 60' deep. 20' ceiling.) Marshland can be seen outside the exit. Captain Vyth gestures towards the exit.
" Your gear is outside. May Semuanya protect you." Without waiting for a reply he, and the guards head back into the Lizard Folks Keep.
Maya would let out the biggest exhale as soon as the captain and his guards were out of earshot. She'd just plop down on the ground for a bit to allow her anxiety jitters to stop. The genasi would hang her head back. "I am not built for diplomacy." She'd groan.
The druid would look around to her comrades and a smirk would grow across her face. "Good job everyone." She was being genuine because she believed everyone completed their task efficiently and without incident.
Then she'd remember she just volunteered them for a giant gater hunt. "So..." Maya would pick herself up off the ground. "This Thousands Teeth..."
"You have done really great back there Maya" says Seethe " But I fear that we have now a bigger problem in our hands. But with Procan's aid we will endure it." she assures the druid with a smile.
Toonary picks up his mace, puts it on his belt. Looks to the team and say "To make new friend, we must protect first, then we can protect again, and they can protect us. Maya you protect friend good with maybe friend. My friends, we ready, we go."
Maya couldn't help but have a huge giddy smile on her face returning a smile to Seethe then Toonary. She'd grab her gear and equip herself. "I'm ready!"
You have been following a winding path that follows the Dunwater River for several miles. The ground slopes downward into a tangle of marsh trees and a blanket of mist. Squishing your way into the shallow valley, you come upon a large pool of brackish water. The pool is sixty foot in diameter and shaded by a canopy of vines and twisting branches. A gurgling stream at its northern edge feeds the pool.
A few yellowed bones are visible in the shallows, and you see a great muddy mound rising from the pool's center.

Toonary reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of bacon and starts to walk to the Queen.
Maya grabs Toonary by the arm and shakes her head no, suggesting that trying to link arms with the queen might be a bad idea.

(Toonary) To your horror the spell has no effect. One of the snakes targets Gridolpho, while the other prepares to strike Seethe.
