I mean...I figured we'd go ahead and get the qwest first. I feel like whatever's happening over there will wait until we get done with this. Generally, we could side-quest for years and the main quest will just wait on us, ya know?

"This qwest seems like a big signpost making it more main questy. The ketchup stained map and this curse you spoke of seem more side questy as they were from unimportant people. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if this random marking of a qwest leads right to those strange fellows... actually, I think we are strange fellows... stranger fellows"

Oh, I've seen Stranger Things. And Stranger Things 2 and 3. Great show, really. Hopefully none of those things are around, could really turn things.....upside down? Eh? Burt looks around for the laughter with a rather large grin on his face.

It seems as if you may have missed out on the point of the numerical order...I think you're supposed to watch 1, 2 then 3. But I guess it's different for halflings maybe? 

Stumpy Greg breaks his normally stoic silence to remark "I've heard tell of a being beyond the skies, one which has seen neither Stranger Things nor Critical Role, a spiteful, malignant being who" he tails off as he's struck by lightning, and if he knows what's good for him he'll keep his bloody mouth shut.

Burt sideglances at Stumpzor, then whispers to TBK and Iradon: was he talking about the DM? Has he seriously not seen Stranger Things? The hell do they do over in Europe all day?

Greg shakes his head, as if a chill or something came over all a sudden. Strange that there is no morning, because I feel like a new man after last night. Albeit one grafted to a broke old body. Stranger things have happened, in the past couple days even. Though I haven't seen that particular entertainment. Is is as good as Bad Omens?

"In Europe we watch it in the wrong order. I am probably starting series 2 in the next 3 hours. Just I watched the first episode of season 3 as I was with someone else watching it. Watched the rest with them and they are rewatching it with me. Good omens are in store for those who watch good omens. Though not sure this helps us qwest. If he cares to roll history (or religion, or something he's proficient in, just pass the DC for crying out loud) Greg will remember that when he was a boy he was taught not to talk about Bad Omens in case anyone is reading the book and doesn't want it spoiled. Especially since any pressure put on them to read the book quickly might take them away from reading other books, books with very relevant content in them....

Greg swats at the dank; he already needs a bath but finding an ADA-compliant centaur-sized facility has eluded him. I'm hoping not to get banned - I'm starting to like it here. Maybe if I reform myself I could be the sort of person who doesn't get banned. I'd appreciate a form with a little better mobility if I'm being honest. Isn't missing something an important trope of the game team? Even Ira is missing a tongue. Are you missing something we are missing Burt? Is success with the ladies grounded in artificial enhancement - are you packing, Macklin? Or, stumps muses, winking at the incorporeal presence that once controlled his actions, is its loss an inevitable surprise for the near future?

It's a real tumbleweed, not a metaphor. I wouldn't read anything into it. But if you insist, I guess it could be that this implies that if you're waiting for an answer there's no answer coming, but on the other hand you can't help but notice that the tumbleweed has no penis.
