Since their entrance into Syrkarn, Ani would follow Vusgaar's lead in changing into warmer clothing, but opt out of rolling through the dirt. As they traveled through to Ardhmen and the nights became more strange and turbulent, the more rugged the changeling became.
Upon arriving in Ardhmen, Ani would do her best to blend in. Following the others lead, she'd adjust her disguise to mute anything that'd cause her to stand out.
Ani would wait until Talaak motioned for them to follow. She'd then follow his lead with a simple introduction, "I'm Ani." and with a bow of her head she'd move over to give room for the others to join. She'd listen.
Vusgaar just shook his head in the negative to Talaak. "Someone needs to keeps eyes out here."He said, and following a curt nod to Khern, turned away to sit at the bar and keep to his word. While he tried to stay casual about it by even ordering a drink. Of the Eneko bartender, he avoids eye contact with as much as possible.

"Demetrios." He said as plainly as possible, letting Talaak take the reins on this one. He keeps his eyes out for anyone suspicious but his ears are listening to the conversation.

Everyone Not Vusgaar: Khern nods. "I've been scouting the area for the past several days, and I found our ex-Kalaak. Woman called Laisok who likes to spend a fair amount of time in taverns. She makes a living as a bouncer at one of them. Here, when people get drunk, sometimes they get unruly, and a bouncer keeps them from destroying property," he explains, scowling. "Why they allow such things to affect their temperament is beyond me. Anyway, apparently her...unique appearance is helpful with intimidation. She's heavily scarred, and pretty good at hand to hand from what I've seen. You'll want to be careful not to provoke her, if we start a fight here, most citizens of Ardhmen won't be inclined to side with us."
Vusgaar: You get your drink, which costs a couple silver pieces. Looking around, you can see a trio of half-giants in the corner, sharing a jug of ustah and talking in rumbling voices, and a human and three eneko sit at a more central table playing some kind of dice game.
Talaak makes a disgusted face when Khern talks about drunks, "They reject their own salvation to replace it with this."
He bows deeply once Khern finishes, "Thank you for your work, Khern. Which tavern is this Laisok most frequently at? We will make sure to be as unobtrusive as possible."
Khern nods. "She works at the Setting Sun. I'll show you, since we've got to get used to working together for the near future anyway. You can handle talking though, I'll enter separately and keep an eye out to make sure there's an escape route in case things do go south."
Khern nods and rises. "Just remember that we can't handle an entire tavern of them," he warns, leaving a few silver coins on the table as he slides his dagger into its sheath and slings his bow across his back.
Khern leads you through Ardhmen, flatly ignoring the looks you continue to draw, although they are far less suspicious now that you've come out of a tavern. Apparently, combined with the fact that your Edgewalkers and Inspired symbols are covered, you've passed some muster. Khern stops outside a low building with a sign that has a red half circle on a line painted on it. "She's inside, finished her shift - work period - about an hour ago. Should be pretty unmistakable, she's covered in scars. I'll enter a few minutes after you."
Unable to bring himself to interact further with the other patrons, Vusgaar downed his drink, and followed a step behind the others. But at the very least, he keeps an eye out along the way to make sure none followed them out. Just in case. Later on, aside from a simple but curt nod to Khern once the man spoke his final piece, the Ursine shifter looked to the others ready to enter.

Entering, this tavern is much busier than the Ragged Sheath. However, it's easy to spot Laisok leaning against the bar and in boisterous conversation with the barkeep. The woman is pale, with brown hair in barely tamed blades. Scars cover her skin in a patchwork of lines that run across every inch of exposed skin, from her hands to her face. There's more scarred skin than unmarred, some of it clearly from battle, but possibly even more of the scars are too straight or methodical to be anything but ritualistic and/or self-inflicted. A single small bone, sharpened at both ends, pierces her earlobe. The woman roars with laughter and down the contents of her mug, then slams it to the bar. "You call this four part ustah, Myrinn? I've had stronger stuff from a well!" A ripple of laughter runs through her group as the barkeep, a powerfully built half-giant, snorts and pulls out a jug.
Ani will try her best not to wrinkle her nose as she follows Talaak’s lead into the bar. Her eyes couldn’t help but land on Laisok, tracing her scars with her eyes.
"So needless rambunctious."Vusgaar mutters derisively under-breathe while looking over all the laughing patrons. Believing his mood would only sour further in direct presence of the woman, he tries to find a table close by the entrance to keep an eye on things while Talaak and the rest approach Ms. Scar Face. Even if a preferred table is mostly occupied already, he bites back a curse, and instead gruffly asked, "Mind I sit here?" in his best mimicry of Liririka's voice inflection.

Vusgaar: You're able to find a half-empty table that just has a couple humans and an eneko at it, who pause their conversation long enough to shrug and nod, then go back to their discussion of the best season for hunting herd animals.
Meiara (and anyone joining her): Laisok chuckles and shrugs. "Why not? It's a free country," she says with a grin that reveals strange lines carved into her teeth. "Myrinn was about to prove he could actually make some good four part ustah."
The half-giant behind the bar snorts. "Just because it doesn't scorch your throat on the way down doesn't mean it's not good, Laisok," he says with a chuckle. "It's that Tashanan palate of yours, can't taste anything warmer than ice."
Meiara sits down, hopefully with one of her fellow Edgewalkers accompanying her, and starts talking to Laisok. "Those are some interesting marks on your teeth, mind telling me what they represent?"

Laisok shrugs, the mirth fleeing her face. "Ritual marks. I used to live up in the Tundra, my tribe had some...off customs. I left." She scowls and takes a swallow from her now-full mug.
The man nods and gestures at the empty chairs at the table. "Have a seat. I'm Khern," he introduces himself with a nod.
