As you continue to walk, Jhalaar keeps an arrow on the string, but scans the whole horizon as if merely watching generally. Aali seems nervous, but Khern is calm, the senior Edgewalker as unconcerned as if he was walking across his bedroom.
The shifters, on the contrary, are watching you nervously as you move closer to what they think is their still-hidden position. Swords and spears begin to be drawn, and they start to spread out.
"Probably the best option," Khern confirms softly. "Jhalaar, keep an eye out for any of their friends while you're shooting. They'll be thinking we're walking into an ambush, so anybody getting up close, close as fast as possible to give them minimal time to prepare."
Jhalaar nods an affirmative, eyes still idly scanning the horizon.
"So be it." Vusgaar would try to casually hang back an extra few feet, but not so much as to give any intentional maneuvering away. More than this, the ursine shifter refrained beyond just a general readiness to act in a moment's notice. "Focus fire, and try not to give them a chance to invoke their primal half. At best, it will prolong the fight. At worse-..."He left the quietly spoken words hang there.

Talaak nods, stepping forward slightly faster. As he reaches the point where the shifters are sure to have seen him, he draws his greatsword and rushes at them, raging beforehand if he can.
Just before Talaak advances forward, Demetrios gives him a pat on the shoulder, giving him a little boost for the fight ahead. When that was said and done, he follows, blade unsheathed and shield at the ready.
