Three shifters give cries of pain as Meiara's flaming sphere rises in their midst. Talaak unfortunately misses and absolutely decimates a swath of ground next to his target. Two of the burned shifters take hard hits to the chest from Vusgaar's missiles, their alarmed gaze snapping to the shifter that unleashed the missiles with anger in their eyes.
The remaining shifters give cries of anger as one of their own falls. All four of them grow slightly more muscular, and their hair becomes bushier as they shift. The one Talaak horrifically missed attacks him, while two of them go after Vusgaar, and the last one attacks Ani. Each of them swings their shortsword, but follows it up with a bite from their now-sharp teeth.
Seeing that Vusgaar seems to have attracted two of their assailants, Demetrios decides to give him a helping hand by attacking one of the shifters attacking their wizard!

Talaak catches the shifter's shortsword in his off hand, looking surprised as a barrier of force keeps the blade from drawing blood. He grins viciously before swinging his greatsword.
Ani would smirk, ducking and weaving the attacks, just narrowly missing her. “Let’s finish this dance.” She’d use the momentum of her fluid motions to continue her attack.

Talaak cuts down the shifter with ease, letting out a short laugh before he claps a hand over his mouth. In a moment his face is all seriousness and he rushes to assist Vusgaar.
Vusgaar lets out a low, feral growl as his own form began growing bigger, bulkier, and hairier in the moment. "You should've ran like the foolish dogs you are."He states in a guttural tone, as raw magic again gathers in his hands. With a more sharply spoken word in Sylvan, three darts are flung straight for the least injured shifter engaged with him.
