Rekuberk will then turn his attention towards the Carrion Crawler, growling and charging in recklessly, his orc blood showing through now more then ever.
Chip would shout "Damn it Rekuberk!" As he quickly moves to the downed Mog and quickly shoos away the psudodragon. "Get up fuzzball!" He would shout to the unconscious wererat while casting Healing word (6). As he opens his eyes, Chip would quickly shout to him "Run that way, Catch up to Chirrax, make sure she knows I saved your life! Now go!" He would shout before turning and pulling a dagger from his belt and throwing it towards the Carrion Crawler.
Throwing dagger attack! Attack: 26 Damage: 12
"Make sure ya tell her about that throw while you are at it!" Chip would shout after Mog, a grin on his face....
"Damn it Mog! you wern't even looking!" Chip would shout as the motionless wererat after landing the blow with the dagger. Chip would walk over to the creature and pull out the dagger before flicking the majority of the blood from the blade and returning to Mog. "So are you dead or what?..." Chip would ask to the wererat before checking for any kind of pulse to see if he is dead or paralized in some way...
Chip would scoop up Mog and sling him over his shoulder. "I don't know if you can hear me or not but I expect you to put in a good word for me with Chirrax when you are able to move again.." The dragonborn would say with a grunt as he positions the wererat. "We showed up to help your clan and your leader tried to kill us. I hope we can have a decent discussion about the future of this mine once this is all settled... I expect more out of my fans you know" Chip would say with a smile as the head and arms of the wererat dangle over his shoulder.
Perception 6
Chip would then look around the room and search the dead bodies while making sure to keep Mog secured over his shoulder. "So where too now... I want to find Chirrax and speak with her and Mog here once he is feeling better... Those two seemed nice enough last time we were here... maybe we can reason with them." Chip would ask as his eyes narrow upon Chill and Rekuberk...

“Let us have a talk with Chirax.” Kazri makes sure if that’s what the party will do, she will be the last one to leave the current location. Just in case anything else happens. She makes sure the place is secure. (Perception: 12).

"Okay. Okay.. Think I caught my breathe. My friends! Z--What is that?"Rhogar looks over incredulously at the bug. However, he doesn't wait for an answer before briskly shaking his head and moving on. "We need to get moving. Zeleen at least truly had no intention of moving out, and had the miners here killed or driven away. But -- BUT some held out in the South East portion of the mines. Though without supplies I-..." He growls and taps the butt of his staff against the ground. "We must get to them quickly. It's already been days, and Zeleen was more than content to let them starve to death." Rhogar adds, the crackle of lightning accompanying his words at the end. Remembering Chip's early look of distress, the Bronze righteous anger falters and simmers down to a more apologetic look.
After placing a hand on the shoulder he adds, "It's not impossible that Zeleen was the driving force. But we can't be too careful. We need to at least round them up. But the MINERS come first. You understand?"Rhogar pats Chip on the shoulder, and then moves over to tie up Mog in some hempen rope unless someone stopped him. "The door over there looks like it heads in the right direction(door to M8). If you're all ready, we should get moving. I'll carry this lout with us for now. Can't have his fellows loosing him before the rest are seen too."

Chip would nod. "yes... I think we should find the miners if they are alive and then meet with Chirrax and Mog here when he recovers" Chip would say as his fellow dragonborn ties up the paralyzed wererat. "I would still prefer to see a peaceful solution to this whole mess.." Chip would locking eyes with Rhogar before looking to Kazri and the others. "No more fighting wererats unless they attack first..." Chip would say looking to Chill and Rekuberk.... "Please..."
"I knew it! That Zeleen was truly a rat!" says Krom as Rhogar explains what he learned. "I agree, the miners come first." The dwarf will follow the group, he will walk beside Chip and say "Do not let your emotions cloud your judgement, Zeleen may or may not have been the driving force of this mess, but think, if Chirrax or Mog are good creatures, why did not oppose him when he ordered to kill or starve the miners? I fear that your affection for that girl are misplaced my friend. Remember that a person may cause evil to others not only by his actions but by his inaction, and in either case he is justly accountable to them for the injury."
You begin to make your way back through the mine heading to the south west corner.
Chill scouts the doors which are unlocked as you move through the mine.
The room you enter (M8) looks to be a storage room that holds picks, shovels and wheelbarrows. Past this room is a dead end hallway that runs to the north. Leaning against the back wall of this tunnel is a dead human miner with a pickaxe. Inspection of the corpse reveals that the miner was stabbed to death.
You find some empty rooms until you reach a couple doors that are either locked or barred from the other side. Pounding on the doors you finally get an answer that isn't defiance and curses. The recognisable voice of another dwarf as Krom calls to the miners in dwarven finally convinces them you aren't a trick of the wererats and they remove the barriers.
You find 5 weary dwarves that are hungry but still defiant occupying the back rooms of the mine. (Rooms M14 and M15)
"We weren't going to surrender the mine to those filthy rats but I'm not sure we could have held out much longer. The rats collapsed the tunnel that lead out on the east side so we were trapped." The leader tells you.
"I see you captured one of them. Should have killed him instead of carrying him around."
The dwarves eye Mog with disdain and anger. You also realize that Mog is no longer paralyzed and is watching you but has said nothing.
Chip would continue to hold the wererat but would toss his pack towards the dwarves. "There are five days worth of rations in there... help yourselves.. and here, take my waterskin as well... " he would say as tosses the waterskin While shifting Mogs weight on his shoulder. "We captured him yes.. but I was hoping we could reach some kind of peaceful agreement. We killed their leader and two of the other wererats already. So far we know there is one more besides this one still around. She ran off after being attacked by some corpse eating bug.." Chip would continue as he looks to the dwarves. "This one and the one that ran off seemed as though they might not be as ruthless as the others.. but then again... it does seem as though we had been deceived the first time we were here. Tell me... Do any of you recognize this one as one of the wererats that killed your men? Is it possible maybe... that not all of the wererats took part in the fighting?" Chip would ask... almost desperately...
The dwarf leader spits on the ground while one the others grabs the pack and helps hand out food to the others.
"They all took part. We buried 10 miners outside. We should have left when we could but we hoped to still get the mine back and then they trapped us here. None of them are any good, they are all filthy creatures who need to die for their crimes. I'd like to see that big half orc take that big sword to this one right here. We just couldn't harm them."

Kazri is not comfortable with the conversation. "Please, gentlemen, I believe that we had enough bloodshed already. Mr. Tune-Tail. Can you tie Mog?" She looks at Mog. "No sudden move Mr. or I will be the first to put you down." (Intimidation: 18) She then addresses the Dwarves. "I would like to suggest that we go to the main room so we can sort things out. Do any of you need assistance in leaving this room?"

"Make sure ya tell her about that throw while you are at it!" Chip would shout after Mog, a grin on his face....
Chip steps in and provides healing for Mog. While he can see a wound in the wererat's side close up Mog doesn't get up.
With a flick of his wrist Chip throws a well aimed dagger that hits the carrion crawler right between the eyes and embeds into its skull killing it.
"Damn it Mog! you wern't even looking!" Chip would shout as the motionless wererat after landing the blow with the dagger.
