"Sure" The dragonborn would say with a nod as he attempts to grapple one keg in his arms and roll the other keg by pushing it with his feet back to the house.
Krom and Chill guide the cart with the bell to the Miner's Exchange.
"This does appear to be made of pure gold. An amazing find for sure. I'll offer you 2000 gold pieces for it, although 200 platinum would certainly be easier to carry around."
Halia Thornton says after you bring the bell inside and she spends some time inspecting and weighing the bell.
Chill lightly puts a hand on Krom's arm before he can jump too quickly to the first offer made by Halia Thornton. "I'll take care of this. " he says in dwarf to Krom
Chill had grown up selling, and smuggling, these types of things in his native Chult and even worked the mean streets of Baldur's Gate. He sets to negotiating with Halia over the price offered.
"A fair offer but I fear you under value this bell. It's worth 300 platinum or my fur isn't black." He counters. A bold counter offer, but a risk not taken is an opportunity lost.
Persuasion 19, 8, 17
A couple rolls if needed.
During the negotiations he drops a little thieves cant to test the waters with the woman, all quietly done that Krom wouldn't see what he was doing or even understand it.
Halia counters Chill's offer and they set off into a quiet negotiation. Krom sees that maybe he is out of his element as the offered price for the bell goes up and down but isn't near the 2000 gold he was so quick to accept.
After several minutes the negotiation comes to an end and Halia doesn't look as pleased as she did when she started. But she pays the price they have worked out and takes possession of the bell for the agreed price of 2700 gold pieces. She sets a bag of 270 platinum on the desk.
"Well negotiated friend." She says to Chill when it is done.
"Great job Chill! I am not used to negotiate for the items I make." says Krom to the tabaxi. "With those gold pieces, we should be able to complete Kazri's plate mail or purchase one set and an half-plate for Rekuberk. Do you think he will wear it? I never saw him wearing any armor at all..."
"By now, Chip should have set the beer barrels at our home base, we have two things to celebrate tonight! You negotiation skills and the magical boots!", says Krom while walking back to the party's home.
"HUUUGGGHHHNNNNGG!!" Chip would groan as he kicks the barrel of ale into the house before following close behind and sets the next keg on the floor nearby. "hold on.. i... i need to sit down for a bit..." the dragonborn would say as he collapses into a nearby chair.
(OOC: So if a barbarian wears armor, doesn't that keep their rage from working properly or something? or is that just heavy armor?)
"It really was my pleasure Krom. I haven't done that in quite some time and I'm glad to see I've still got it. Now let's go drink ale and throw axes. What could go wrong?" Chill laughs as they leave the office.

Rekuberk will be off on his own in the house, making sure that he is cleaning his barely used hand axes, making sure that they going in the light. Like his sword these are made in the style of an orcish weapon but made in a much better way then a normal orc would cobble a weapon together.
"Well now that we have a location to find the blasted thing let us begin coming up with strategic battle plans." He did not bother to act it would more then likely involve him charging in to hack and slash it until it was a bleeding pile of scales.
"Good point Mr. Onc. We should be prepared for the dragon, for it could show itself at any moment."

(@Orileo Sounds a great plan. Krom can also sell his old chain mail and the Mithral chain mail so that we get a bit more of gp back.)
(OOC If the following action is ok for everyone, Krom will go with Chill the Lionshield Coaster to purchase the three sets of armor.)
"Chill, since you are a good negotiator, let's head to the Lionshield Coaster and try to purchase to Kazri and Rekuberk a new set of armor. I fear that I will not have the proper time to craft them such armors without a forge and with the Dragon near us. I may need your help selling my old armor and this mithral armor, I may need too a replacement." Krom will head to the Lionshield Coaster, if Chill follows him. Before entering the shop, Krom will give his old armor and mithral armor to Chill.
"Good afternoon, miss", says the dwarf to Linene examining armors and weapons of the shop, "Good craftmanship, we are looking to purchase some armors, a full plate for our lass, and an half-plate for our lad." Krom will choose two armors that match Kazri and Rekuberk size. "Those two should fit them well. If necessary I can do some field adjustments." Krom will also check the shop's wares for a splint mail of his size. "That armor is well done indeed, I will take it for myself."
"Before we proceed with the payment, my friend here has a couple of armors that he would like to sell. They have seen combat, but as you can see they are in perfect conditions." says Krom pointing to his old chain mail and the mithral armor.
(OOC After the above dialogue and after the purchase of the three sets of armor, Krom will head back to the house. When all the party members have returned to the house the following dialogue/scene is played.)
"Today is a great day indeed!", says the dwarf to himself while he sets the target, a wooden log with an red X sign on it, for the axe throwing game, "Moradin cured that poor man, we sold the bell for a good amount of golds and we got three new sets of armor.".
"Now, let's drink and throw!" "Dwarf first! Ahahaha" laughs Krom drinking one pint of ale and then throwing his handaxe toward the target.
DC 14
First throw: 8
"Ah I hit it at my first attempt! Time to drink and throw again!", the dwarf drinks another pint of ale and throws again his axe.

"Tymora is not with me today!" says the dwarf drinking another pint of ale. "Your turn!" says Krom to one member of party.

Chip would drink with the others, trying to relax and even playing a few songs inbetween rounds of axe throwing. The Dragonborn had quite a bit of new material to work with when trying to create his next masterpiece. Periodically he would place his hand in his pocket and feel the statue laying inside... making him feel a little sad once more. Seeing Ghorar, he would motion to her to sit on his shoulder before offering her a bite to eat. "One of these days i'll make carve you something really nice" He would say with a smile, patting her on the head. "So where did Rhogar go? Just between you and me, he is much different than any dragonborn I have ever met... but I am sure he would say the same thing about me" Chip would say with a laugh. "Do you think you could tell him to come back? If not that is fine if he wants his space. I just don't want him thinking we don't like him or anything..." Chip would say as his hand finds the small statue of Chirrax and pulls it out to show Ghorar. "Ya know... I know everyone was probably right about Chirrax... but I really think she liked me you know? I have never had anyone like me like that and well.. I guess I didn't want to believe that the only girl to take interest in me... in well... ever... Might be a murderous monster. Chip would say looking down to the figure before putting it back in his pocket." Anyway.... Thanks for listening. Let me know if you have any request for anything you want carved alright.." Chip would add looking up to the psudodragon on his shoulder. "I know they arn't made of gold or anything but I think they are kind of neat..." He would say with a small smile before getting up and preparing to throw again.
"If anyone really wants the boots! I am susceptible to bribery" The dragonborn would add looking to the others with a wink before throwing the first axe. 23
"Ha! I guess that should come as no surprise.. remember what I did with my dagger back in the mines... Let's see if I can do it again!" He would add as he throws again.

”Greetings Ms. Graywind. I have good news. My companions would like to purchase equipment from your store.” She just observes Chill do the haggling.
Back at the house. (After the convo above). Kazri takes a handaxe, and her medallion starts to glow. She calms herself down by assuring herself that no one will be hurt by it, and this is just a game.
First attempt: 25
(It is fitting. Kazri is not exactly comfortable holding a bladed weapon.)
Kazri is not surprised that she missed, but she looks at the pint if ale with reluctance and takes a sip. She makes a weird face, and puts the pint back in the table. A sip is all she can do.
Second attempt (-2): 9
Kazri rolls her eyes, but again, she is not surprised. However, she does not look forward for the penalty. She takes another sip of the ale, and makes another weird face. She takes a deep breath.
Third attempt (-4): 13
She makes a small prayer to Helm and gulps the rest of the ale. She closes her eyes and shakes her head. “I must be blunt, master Krom, I do not look forward to play this game again.” She tries her best to give Krom a wink, but comes off all wrong...

Chill gladly accompanies the others to the Lionshield to sell the mithral armor. As the others inspect the armor that is for sale and determine the right ones to get he negotiates with Linene over the sale of the mithral chain mail.
Once again Chill sets the mood for the negotiation and spends a few minutes of haggling back and forth. Chill makes promises and claims about the virtues and value of the armor that make Kazri blush but eventually a price is settled on.
Chill accepts the 550 gold pieces for selling the Mithral Chain Mail shirt
2700 starting gold
-2450 for the Plate, Splint and Half plate
+550 for the Mithral chain mail
+37 for the regular chain mail
