Raskin starts to speak, "Yes, there are things there I need."  And you sense a slight emphasis on the word need, but before he can continue Zeleen cuts him off.

"The original miners are gone and none have returned.  Raskin here has everything he needs to get the mine running again and we are making progress.  So all is well, and thank you for your concern."

Zeleen looks to Chip, "Chirrax is busy right now, though I am sure she would be pleased to see you.  But work must be done."

Turning back to Kazri and Krom

"I have work to do, thank you for coming and checking on us.  Come along Raskin, Mat will see them out."

Zeleen then takes Raskin by the arm and turns him to go back into the mine.  Raskin gives a quick pleading look as he turns to go with Zeleen.

Mat, the one who went to get Zeleen steps up.  "I shall see you out."

"No... I don't think so.." Chip would say taking a step forward. "We just killed a whole temple full of orcs for you... and now your just going to kick us out of the mine... just like that?!? And Where is Chirrax anyway? You said that she would be excited to see me but are going to kick us out before allowing her to do so? Where is Mog? He seemed like a pretty nice guy? I don't see him around either... " The dragonborn would say locking eyes with Zeleen. The dragonborn would hold up his open hand for a moment as if calming himself down...  "Maybe we should help you to get the mine up and running then... If you have so much to do.. and you have everything you need to get back up and running... allow us to help you finish... Then maybe I can perform for you all after all the hard work you have done and the hardships you have faced.... Then we will feel better knowing that everything is OK here and I can see Chirrax again and we can be on our way.

Persuasion! 22

The dragonborn would shift his weight, holding his horn in one hand with his other hand resting next to the hilt of his longsword. 

"WITH ALL DUE RESPECT..." Kazri booms "Unfotunately, Overseer Zeleen, we still have unfinished business." Kazri raises her shield and wields Nature's Grasp. She points her flail to Raskin and cast Shield of Faith on the Human. She slowly starts to walk towards Zeleen, looks at the Wererat (if she turns to face the group) in the eyes, and bellows "Halt!!" casting Command on the Overseer. "I must insist that we have a private conversation with Mr. Raskin. Outside of the mine."

(OOC: Damn, posted at the same time If persuasion failed I was going to suggestion that they do what we say :D)

Zeleen stops in her tracks and for a moment you think the spell worked.  She turns and looks at you. "Kill them." is all she says

Rekuberk smirks and enters a rage before charging into the nearest wererat with a wild glee as he swings his blade.

(OOC: awesome, so you didn't even need the silvered weapon then... .:P does this mean you could hold the greatsword in one hand and pull out a dagger and use it to attack as a bonus action!!!! although you don't have a silvered off handed weapon though.... nevermind...)

Rekuburk's blade cuts deep into Prill as shadows weave around the blade

 She is able to dodge the first attack and her armor saves her from injury on the second.

@DM. Kazri cast Shield of Faith on Raskin. So Zeleen's second strike just made it through the tiniest of her defenses. FYI.

Yes, but your armor feat mitigates the first 3 points of damage.

Chip would lift his horn and let out a loud trumpeting battle cry as each of his companions feels a boost of adrenalin flow through their veins. The Dragonborn would begin to grab his longsword but realizing it was worthless against the wererats, he would instead grab his horn with both hands. "I guess I'll just treat you to a performance a little sooner than planned..." Chip would snarl as smore began to billow from his nostrils as the first few shrill notes burst forth from the instrument. "I'm going to roast you with my rage and heat your grilled corpse..." he would whisper shout into the instrument in between notes as he cast Dissonant Whispers (at 2nd level). immediately his voice begins to echo in Zeleen's mind.. over and over.

Wis 15 or 11 and run away, half damage on success.

Zeleen screams in pain as the discordant melody echoes in her head.  She turns to run drawing AOO's from Rekuburk, Kazri and Krom

Kazri see Zeleen running away from Chips spell. She hits the Wererat, but tries to knock her unconscious (non-lethal).

Attack: 26 Damage: 18

Rekuberk growls and swings his sword at the wererat as she begins to run away.

Greatsword: Attack: 8 Damage: 14

Kazri slashes at Zeleen as she runs from Chip's discordant melody but tries to keep her alive.  But Rekuburk, in his rage, cuts her down.

(OCC: Can I declare that Kazri hit Zeleen after Rek? I wasn't sure if we would be able to bring her down with the AOOs)

(@Wreck: Who is the mantle bonus being directed at? I assume Krom, Raskin, Kazri, Rek, and..hm.. I guess Ghorar(Rhogar being out of site at the time)? Or was that a hang over from another post?)

Hearing the sound of battle joined, a perhaps over eager Rhogar rushes back into the tunnel, and sizes up the situation. Seeing Zeelen down and the others ready to rush forth to take down more, Rhogar sweeps his staff about while uttering, "Vixximixx Iviniviss!", blessing Rekuberk, Krom, Kazri and Himself through the power of Vixix. "Over here Raskin! Quickly!" He bids, waving the man over to his side by the mine entryway.

Action: Rhogar Casts (2nd level)Vixix' Fortune.
