If the next room does not lead to the spider Den, we should expect to run into those ghouls judging by the scent. Spiders are meaning things, but kill far too cleanly to leave behind such a stench." Ghorar flutters back to Rhogar's shoulder, and find her way eventually into his pack to stay safe.

The door is opened for Kazri who then uses her divine sense but she does not feel the presence of the undead in the next room. With the aid of Chip's dancing lights she quickly surmises that this is the same room that Ghorar showed them and is filled with spiders. Movement can be seen in the webs that cover the south half of the room and she realizes there are several giant spiders in the room.
...web-filled areas are difficult terrain... a creature entering a webbed area for the first time on a turn or starting its turn there must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or become restrained by the webs. A restrained creature can use its action to try and escape, doing so with a successful DC 12 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check.

Krom, paying attention to not get too near the web, moves into the room. With his back guarded by the rail of the left ramp, the dwarf takes a look at the room filled with webs trying to find a cluster of spiders near a metal object. If he can finds such item Krom will chant an hymn of evocation (Heat metal on it trying to burn down the web and possibly hurt some spiders in the process. If he can not find a suitable place for his spell, the dwarf will throw his hand axe at the spider hit by Rekuberk's javelin.

Rekuburk steps out and moves forward and hurls a pair of spears at one of the giant spiders. The first hits but the second flies over its head. Krom can see some metal cauldrons lined up 3 across on the center of the rpom but no spiders are nearby so he opts to throw an ax instead but it goes wide and misses. Chill quietly slips around the corner and with a well aimed shot kills the spider Rekuburk hit with a spear.

Once Rhogar stepped outside, and seeing no better time than the present for testing the necklace, he flicks one of the beads near the southern most pillar, unleashing a flash inferno upon the poor spiders within licking reach of the flames.
Movement: To 10ft North of Krom.
Action: Spend a bead to cast Fireball(Dex 15), catching the 6 within 20ft of the southeastern most pillar, and inflicting 30 of Fire Damage. Half as Much on a Success. Webbing also catches on fire.

The ball of fire hits the SW corner of the room and the webs start to burn. 3 of the spiders catch fire and and are overcome. 3 others have burns covering their bodies.
Chip would move around the corner and look towards the remaining charred spiders. He would then strum a quick tune on his lute as the few flickering flames near the chard spiders explode into a dazzling rainbow of colors as he casts pyrotechnics
OOC: con 16 or everyone within 10 ft. of the explosion is blinded. I didn't know which spiders were alive and which ones weren't but I woudl try to blind as many living spiders as possible.

Chip doused the flames on the middle spider in the car corner that is still alive. Fireworks suddenly explode in the area.

while the web launched towards Kazri falls short, Rekuburk is covered in the sticky webbing and is restrained.
