"Its not as if WE'RE the most subtle lot." He glances over to Chill. "Present Tabaxi's habits excluded." With a wink, he turns back to the others. "So, unless we can trust the boars to run them off, let's see to their end. One kept alive at least to confirm the location of their so called empowering spellcasters."He said as he took out a belaying pin. With it in one hand and staff in the other, the two are brought together as utters familiar incantation, empowering himself, Kazri, Chill, and Krom with the blessings of Vixix.
"Onwards then!" He adds just after Ghorar half-buried herself into his clothing.
(Prep: Casted at (2nd level)Empower on Kazri, Rhogar, Chill, and Krom.)
(S/N: If it might take longer than a minute to potentially reach the combat area, assume it wasn't cast or at least is being readied instead.)
“Agreed. We need to find out what is happening here.” Kazri replies to Rhogar. (Waiting for Rek to do this thing.)

Kazri charges right after Rekuberk, feeling the necrotic damage take away some of her life essence. She shrugs it off and attacks another orc with Nature’s Grasp.

Krom after feeling a bit of his life essence being taken away by Rekuberk, follows the barbarian and the paladin into the fray chanting an hymn of evocation (Searing Smite). The dwarf moves toward the orc attacked by Kazri and swings powefully his white-hot warhammer.

Warhammer: Attack: 24 Damage: 14 plus Searing smite5
Bless bonus (@Orileo Thanks!): 4
Searing smite: DC 14 or 1d6 fire damage at the start of each target's turn.
(OOC I tried to get the damage of warhammer and Searing smite together in my previous post, but I made some mistakes so the forums considered the roll a manipulated roll. I deleted the post and rolled separately. Sorry for the mistake. The previous attack roll was 19 and no damages were calculated.)

You move into the room, weapons and spells at the ready, but as you file in you find no orcs. The room appears empty beyond the strange vines growing out of the well in the middle of the room. 2 closed doors are on the south wall along with an open doorway to the west side of the south wall.
The sounds of the orcs come from behind the closed doors on the south wall.

"Let's get those orcs." suggests Krom keeping his voice down and pointing toward the closed doors. "We should attack them from two directions to cut their retreat."
The dwarf will gesture to Kazri and Rekuberk to enter the room from two different doors. He will walk then near Rekuberk with his weapon ready.
(OOC @DM Since there were no orcs, do I keep the slot that Krom would have used in battle or do I lose it?)
"Let's move quickly!" Chip would add as shoots a quick smile to the group and lets out a barley audable toot from his horn as everyone else in the room feels a burst of energy flow through themselves.
OOC: all of you get 8 temp hp and can use your reaction to move your speed to get into position faster :D
Mantle of Inspiration8 temp hpXGtE, pg. 14
As a bonus action, spend one use of Bardic Inspiration to grant 8 temporary HP to up to 5 creatures you can see and that can see you within 60 ft. Each creature can immediately use its reaction to move up to its speed, without provoking opportunity attacks.

(@Wreck: I'm not sure how the Mantle would interfere with the ongoing armor of agathys. But if alright with you, can we say the targets are Chip(Yourself), Chill, Krom, Kazri, and Ghorar?)
Ghorar more than happily races after Kazri, but Rhogar freezes in place and looks around the room for a second. "This... isn't right. First the figures that leapt forth to attack us. Then the so called Orcs running about? I DON'T like this at all."The smell of ozone starts building up in the air, as an annoyed Rhogar made his way to the well. If not intercepted in some way, he tries to unleash a lightning immediately down the well in the room without even checking first to see what's down it. Short of new surprise that follows the act, he calls down into the well, "I'm onto your tricks, cowards!"
Lightning Breathe Damage(for what it's worth): (Dex Save - 12): 13 of lightning damage. Save for half.

(Ooc: If my spell would give you more temp hp, then swap to the more temp ho. Otherwise, you can keep your temp hp and still move)
(The problem is that once I lose the temp HP generated BY armor of agathys, I no longer benefit from its blow back feature against a melee attack. And I still have maybe 50 minutes left on it. I rather my familiar get the buff to send in more to maybe use the Help.)

As Kazri heads for one door and Rekuburk and Krom head for another behind them they hear Chip toot his own horn. They make their way into the next room.
This room was once a bedchamber, kitchen, and dining room rolled into one. Four beds stand along the south wall, with shuttered windows and nightstands between them. Against the west wall are four wardrobes and a cabinet full of plain dishware and cutlery. Four chairs surround a small dining table in the northeast corner, and a trestle table strewn with pots and cooking utensils stands near a blackened fireplace. All the furnishings are made of wood.
The ceiling in the southwest corner of the room has collapsed, filling the area below with debris and leaving a jagged hole through which the room above is visible.
There are no orcs in this room either, but you quickly realize that they are upstairs and you can hear them through the hole in the ceiling! And they can hear you.
At the same Rhogar goes over to the well and shoots a jagged line of lightning down the shaft and he sees a number of vines start squirming and moving up towards him!
Vine Blights are in the well coming up, orcs are in the room above W9 with a hole in the ceiling.

He will wait for Rekuberk to return to the room with the well and if he can see an orc through the hole in the cealing he will throw his hand axe toward it and the close the door.
If Krom can not see an orc, he will chant an hymn of evocation Searing Smite while closing the door and then he will proceed to smash his flaming warhammer into the Vine Blights.
