"Hello Laievis. I do not know if Elethy chose to join the show, however I believe she was welcomed by the director. But getting back to things, I am curious as to why the gnolls went to such lengths and also seemingly around the same time. Have they all banded together? Has someone convinced or influenced them? One could understand trying to preserve their race, but I would think they would have to be on desperate times to resort to using rituals as we have seen."
"Quel amrun," politely responded Laievis a touch ceremoniously lowering head, "lle maa quel". "I would join you at breakfast, if you do not mind", added he in Common.
He did join with the light breakfast plate and now fully enjoyed interesting discussion. "All are good questions without any answers - good or bad,"realizing that he sounds way too sagely, Laievis made next comment a tad more normal: "Well can be the gnolls we are aware of are just that - something that was discovered in time. And there are more lost villages nobody reported yet. In that case, all I can thing of is a massive invasion. Kind of like necromancers from the legends making their armies, by using local cemeteries but here whoever it is, they are using living citisens."
"Yes, Talaveroth does have numerous enemies, including gnolls clans. Gnolls are vicious but can only truly gather their strength in numbers, which must be why they target defenseless villages. But to ask something unrelated, might you tell me what language you just spoke a moment before?"
Laievis was a bit confused - both by being caught on using language not everyone present understood, and the fact that the language was not recognized. "I am sorry, I should not have use my mother tongue here. I happen to learn Common language of these lands relatively not so long ago and from time to time it is still easier for me to use Elvish, especially when I talk to someone of my own race. Again, my apology."
"It's alright, I was merely curious. I used to slip into Draconic from time to time, but over time Common became the language I mostly used."
Saerirra then says a phrase in Draconic that I am not going to even begin to attempt to write out like you have done for Elvish. Not so big a nerd to actually know Draconic words. Lol
"I don't know why you think speaking three words of Elvish requires two apologies" Edeleth grumbles. He hasn't heard his native language spoken in months.

"Good morning, Zyman!"says Edeleth, glad to see some of his own group starting to awaken.
He doesn't blame Saerirra for evading his question--he would probably not respond if someone asked advice on fighting elves. He should not have asked, especially when she is preparing for an important performance, and he hopes he has not upset her.
"Your grandparents must miss you,"he says, changing the subject.

"We've met, if only briefly," answered Laievis, glad the inconvenient language dispute was over. "Good morning"."But unless Peshley suddenly found some patron in the upper or lower planes - this is how you do become a Warlock, right? - I do not think we have any among us. We had visited Feywild through the portal of a sort."
"So, you truly think we will be those, who is going to fight that Drogonborn bandit thing?" he turned back to Edeleth. "I kind of though that was the whole purpose of the army with us - to fight that real threat".
"If we are traveling with the army, we will most likely fight any enemy they are facing, or what is the point of bringing us along?"says Edeleth. "And if we break off and travel separately, one never knows what we will blunder into. It's always best to be prepared with as much information as possible."
He is still annoyed with the elf who apologized for speaking elvish, but it really isn't worth making any further fuss over.

Saerirra keeps smiling, enjoying the continuous conversation, despite the subject. Looking among the group, she notices they are starting to look like they are getting agitated or anxious. Considering we have been thrust into a war, that would be understandable, however that does not appear to be the case, to her at least.
"Hmmm, well Edeleth, I am sure you are aware that dragons, and by extension, people like me, have a particular resistance to specific elements, based on the color of our scales. As our enemy is likely a Red Dragonborn, I think you can guess which type of elemental attacks not to use against him."
Saerirra turns to Ozymandias.
"Yes, our pursuit of the gnolls took is to the Feywild. As far as I am aware, none in our group is a warlock. Do you know if we have a warlock among us Laievis?"
"To be honest I am still at a loss for understanding the capacity of our involvement," Laievis politely ignored Edeleth's annoyances, wandering why, for Meryn's sake, he is suddenly incapable to speak plainly. "Nobody said anything affirmative as of yet. The mere fact that the promised reward is worth a legendary deed, does not sound reassuring either. Still, elven Commander looked competent and not as someone willing to sacrifice people on a whim. I am afraid, we will have to go with that."
"I am sure there will be many hardships ahead of us. And the rewards promised to us are quite large indeed. So either the rewards listed are simply a lie, or we are not being told everything. I am inclined to believe both, honestly. We will need to speak with the Elven Commander leading the 200 men we are to travel with."
