With everything bought and in order, the 4 set off for the deserted town of Halmadrium. Lucia checks the map and says, "It looks like we can follow the remnants of the old road and head east when we start hitting the slope. It's probably going to take 4 days with us getting very close to Lower Halmadrium during sunset on the fourth day. The issue is that the area surrounding the Old Road is less dense compared to the rest of the land claimed by the wilds so it's going to be difficult to hide should we encounter any opposition while they would be able to attack us from the thicker parts of the forest. On the other hand we can take a longer, slower approach by going through the forest. It would let us hide more effectively but monsters are more active in the thicker parts of the forest and its going to take a day longer to reach Halmadrium at that rate." Kate reiterates, "So what you're saying is we can either take a path that is in the open and give up the chance for a sneak attack but get their quicker, or we can take the slower path which would mean it takes longer to get there and also we have a higher chance of actually running into something though we would have the option to hide if we do." She turns to Tomoe and says, "You're the one that's cursed and the reason we're going out here to siege a cultist base. Which way do you think we should go?"
Basically you can either take the Old Road and reach Lower Halmadrium at around 6:30 PM on Day 4. This route has a lower chance of random encounters and is quicker but you will not be able to hide as you approach the base and if you do get a random encounter, you can't Stealth to avoid detection.
Alternatively if you go through the forest you will reach Lower Halmadrium at 1:00 AM on Day 5. This lets you attempt to approach the base undetected and at any random encounter, you have the chance to Stealth to avoid detection. However, you have a higher chance for random encounters and this path is much slower. Remember that the longer you take with getting rid of the curse, the worse it will be.
I'm so mad and dont know who to be mad at. I had thought I had posted the stealth rolls and I'vebeen busy so i havent check until today and it never posted.

The first two days of travel are uneventful. On the third day, the party has to return to the road to cross the bridge. The river was wide and rapid so they did not feel like swimming through it when a bridge was available. it was close to sunset at 5:30 PM and golden sunlight shined on the river. Crossing the bridge they returned to the forest. That's when they found a Hill Giant walking around with his Saber Tooth Tiger. Everyone quickly hid among the cover of the trees. The giant seems to be wearing a crude stone pendant with carving depicting a bovine skull but with carnivorous teeth, wrapped in flowering vines. The vines have two large flowers on them at the horns of the skull.
Battle Music:
The light was dim and it was a bit hard to see but not to the point it would impede combat. At first it seemed like the party was well hidden from the giant and its hunting buddy, However, the tiger then started to growl and sniff the air. It honed in on the scent of Lucia and Kate. Stepping forward, it got a visual on Kate and got ready to pounce.
Party's turn.
No map for this one. Lucia and Kate can reach the Tiger with only their move but Tomoe and Mystery can't. The giant can't reach any of the party without using only its move. However it can reach the tiger so anyone within melee of the tiger will also be reached by the giant. The tiger can reach the entire party with its moves. The party currently has half cover from the trees.
I think Kate should rage tank the tiger and maybe Lucia punched and either tries to stun it or punch and run while Tomoe shoots it and Mystert tells the dead.

Also Monks can disengage as a bonus action but Lucia will have used up all her movement to reach the tiger so she won't be able to move away from it until her next turn.
Tomoe's bullet whizzes past the tiger's fur and Mystery's spell has no effect as well. That's when Kate show up on the scene and makes a very powerful overhead swing. The long wind-up the swing gives the tiger enough time to dodge and mount a counter attack. As it tries to pounce on Kate though, the barbarian swings again, wacking the tiger out of the air and hurtling towards Lucia. The monk rises to the occasion and combos the tiger with an uppercut to redirect its momentum upward. Then as the big cat begins falling toward the ground, She jumps in the air and delivers two swift and powerful kicks at the tiger's side and sends it back towards Kate. The tiger, after being so utterly injured with this barrage of hits before it can even strike, loses all its morale and runs away. Kate goes to strike but she is nearly flattened by a large stone that strikes her the side. She pushes the stone off her and stand ups again to see the Giant 80ft away. Is it also trying to flee?
Kate rotates her arms and stretches the pain away. Lucia says, "I'm not sure Chief. We could give chase. Maybe they are a tribe or we could keep moving..."
As mercy is a big part of her core beliefs, Tomoe responds We should get going. The sooner I am rid of this curse, the sooner I shall no longer be punished for caring for my friends.

Going through the forest, you end up not being able to get very far before the sun sets fully. It is now dark. Kate says, "Alright this might be a bit of a problem. We can set up camp here but it's still relatively close to where we fought the ogre. If he had a clan there is a chance they'll come for us. If we keep moving, we risk exhaustion and the weird demons showing up. What do we do?"
