Past them is a large water tower in the north east corner of the town. Then it's the side of the mountain. Of course they could always turn back and check the other directions.

Kate looks up at the water tower and says, "Wouldn't that make us suspicious?" Lucia gives it a look and says, "Hmm... Not necessarily. Maybe if there's only one of us that climbs it, we wouldn't be noticed."
The buildings leading up to the water tower seemed to be once used for housing miners and mining equipment. They are small and short and don't hold more room than a single person. There is a stench coming from some of these small buildings. It seems they are used for housing dead and the dying, so the cultists can later use them in Heretical rituals. One of the houses has a big hole burnt into the side of it and tons of blood stains around it. The blood seems relatively fresh, as if it was spilled no more than 4 days ago. It seems one of the prisoners proved way too powerful to be held normally and they escaped, killing a bunch of cultists in the process. Though whether or not they escaped successfully is unknown.
Tomoe takes note of a potential ally and moves on to the water tower. Lucia has the right if it and Tomoe asks her to climb the tower and look around. Assuming there are no guards of course.

Lucia makes quick work by climbing the water tower with her considerable athleticism. After surveying the area, she quickly gets back down and reports back to Tomoe.
" Here's what I saw, Chief. To the far north is the mines. The mines have banners of Morpheus on each side of the entrance. I guess that's where those cultists are staying. The huts that used to be for miners and supervisors to stay in seem to be used for storing ritual ingredients and victims by both the Cult of Morpheus and the Cult of Revan. Past the weird garden is a large mansion. I think that was the mayor or however used to rule this old town's house. Then on the west edge of town is another water tower and a large marble building. I think that's the Chapel."
Excellent work. So we know where the chapel is now. But that mansion could have wealth too. Tomoe sighs And we may have prisoners of the cult to rescue. And there seems to be two cults working togather ( can't remember if I previously knew there were two cults here or not). Let us try the chapel. They should have artifacts of their religion we can deal deal with at the very least.

Kate agrees, "Sounds good. The chapel might be a good place for treasure." Approaching the Chapel, the group sees two Skeleton Knights guarding it. These Skeletons are bad news as they are sturdier than regular skeletons and are dangerous Fighters as well. It also seems the undead aren't fooled by the party's ruse. The party needs to find some way to sneak around them.
"I'll be right back." Lucia says as she disappears to scout out the place. She returns shortly after and says, "Found a backdoor... well... it's more of a trapdoor but it leads inside. Should all of us try to go in? It would be bad if we get spotted by the skeletons."
Thee skeleton knights are standing on either side of the main door. They are outside, guarding the whole thing. They aren't patrolling though. They're just standing on either side of the main door like statues.
She didn't go too far inside but she did peek through the trap door to see where it leads. It leads to what used to be Crypts for burying members of the church but the graves are dug up and its empty. Also I forgot to mention this but there's a graveyard behind the temple which you need to go through to access the trap door. The graveyard is empty because the cultists dug up all the people that were buried there for their necromancy.

She takes the party along the side of the Chapel to get to the back, taking some time to point out some of the windows on the second floor as possible escape routs should things go south fast. The party enters the graveyard, covered in tomb stones that are centuries old. It makes one wonder if some of the oldest Elven Druids were alive before the current line of emperors of Chronero, during the time when Lower Halmadrium was a thriving city; during the time when the Night Mother still walked the earth; when Drake Island fell to the empire.
Passing the empty graveyard, the party enters the chapel. The cold stone basement is lit in an orange hue by metal torches. There are old stone crypts lining the walls; all opened and lay bare. The crypt room is shaped with a big space room in the middle with smaller square sections on each of the four corners. On these corners are barrels and crates and chests and sacks, storing something. A cheap chandelier hangs right in the center of the big square space for further lighting. There are wooden doors, newer than the rest of the stone architecture on the north, the west and the east sides of the crypt.
