"Ugh..." Long Death lets out a groan as the last two bullets cause her to faint. Before she tumbles into the spike pit below, ropes shoot out from the side of the pit and attach to the rocking arena, creating a net. It catches Long Death and she is retrieved safely from the arena. A draw bridge is lowered and Tomoe is led back into the hall.
The Arena master greets her. "Congratulations. You did well tonight. Here is your reward." She hands Tomoe 1,200 GP and a Pike +1.
The Arena master gives Tomoe a toothy grin and asks, "Say, are you done with the Arena for the night or do you have someone else ready to give it a shot? Maybe... you'd like to give it another try yourself?"
DM: If you need cash, a nice way to get it is to sell magic items that you don't need. Also I forgot to give you XP for beating Minotaur so for that you get 500 XP from Minotaur and 1,000 XP from Long Death. Both of these have been added to Legendary Gift.
The arena master approaches and says with a sly grin, "I have an offer for you that you might be interested in. Return here in one hour and enter the arena once more. Then, I want you to lose the fight but don't make it obvious. Perhaps you will accidentally forget to reload your gun and have to fight with no shield and proper weapon. Perhaps you will let your guard down and get hit. Should you lose, I will reward you with 1,000 GP. Should you die, our arena staff will revive you free of charge. The audience is riled up now and wish to see you continue your streak. It would be shame for all those betting for you if you suddenly messed up the next round. What do you say?"
It seems the arena is not always as fair for the gamblers as it appears at face value.
Tomoe turns down the offer. Sorry, but I do not have it in me to not fight to my fullest. It is disrespectful to me and my opponent. I am sure you will figure something out to for these people to spend their money on here.

The Arena master frowns. She says, "Well, I am very sorry to hear that. Who knows, maybe the next match will be hard as it is. Are you absolutely sure you won't reconsider?"
Tomoe gets a feeling that the "offer" was less like an offer and more like an order. Turning down the arena master will probably yield repercussions down the line. Did the champion have to deal with taking losses on purpose while she climbed the ranks?
Tomoe responds with a smile. Perhaps. You never know what will happen in a fight. Tomoes tone has an underlying threat of its own. She walks away before hearing any response.

Oh I should ask, is Kate going to enter the Arena? I remember it being mentioned at some point but I don't know if you plan to go through with it still.
((Standard or normal basically has you fight in a plain arena but on Initiative 20, the audience throws things at the contestants. Challenge has no audience participation but the fight takes place in a special arena that has its own arena actions. ))
((Also if you want something not too involved, I can throw an opponent that's hard to hit, has tons of HP but very bad damage output to see if Kate's damage can take the opponent down before outside factors take Kate out))
Next up Kate steps into the arena for a Standard Fight. Unlike the strange arenas of the Challenge Fights, the arena is a big circular battlefield. The audience can be see cheering and screaming from the seats around the circular battlefield. Kate's opponent is a tall wall of metal and spikes. It's a man... or is it a woman? In heavy spiky armor. In their hand is a massive tower shield. They walk with loud footsteps. For weapons though, they seem to only have a hand axe. The spikes though might be a bigger problem. While it is easy enough to avoid them, a error in footing will cause massive pain. The lumbering suit of metal moves forward ready for the fight.
The announcer announces, "Ladies and Gentlemen! The night's not over yet. While you won't be seeing the graceful Princess anymore tonight, her strong friend is more than willing to take up the challenge. We have Brown Fox vs Wallnut. It's offense vs defense here but which will prove better? Will Brown Fox be able to get past her opponent's defenses and hit him enough times to take him down? Or will Wallnut outlast his opponent long enough for the arena to do the work for him? Place your bets!"
The two combatants stand 30ft away from each other.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kate moves right up to Wallnut and enters her tactical anger management mode.
She takes a couple reckless swings, relying on her brute force (I've never played thus kind of barbarian and I don't know all of Kate's buffs and stuff so if I miss something please let me know)
Kate swings hard and her sword strikes her slow opponent, as he's too sluggish to dodge. Her sword clangs loudly against the metal army. Audience gasp at the brutal hits. Kate however glowers at her opponent. As brutal as both those hits looked, she knows very well that they were entirely absorbed by the dude's thick armor and shield. Wallnut swings his hand axe at Kate but she easily dodges the small weapon.
Kate's turn.

EDIT: Also your Sun Blade was returned to you.
Tomoe takes her gear and receives her prizes. Sadly, I feel I may be at my limits. And I have other business that needs attending.

We can have Kate do some arena. Tomoe is done and we still have the revive potion.

Is Kate going to do normal or challenge? At this point both are at the same difficulty level .
What's the difference again? I've been a bit busy and would prefer to do the easier to play style.
