He looks at both of the gold rings and says, "These are definitely magical. I can Identify them if you give me 600 GP. Normally. I would charge 150 GP for slow identification but I am not going to sit here for 2 hours doing it so it's going to have to be the more expensive quick-identification."

Tomoe looks to Lucia for approval as her interjection last time is why both party's made a profit. 

Unlike last time, Lucia seems fine with the extra cash. It would either have to be this or wait until the next day to identify.

As it seems our last meeting was profitable to us both, you have a deal.Tomoe hands him his 600 gold pieces from the money she just made from the sword.

 Taking the 600 GP, the tiefling spends Spell Slots to cast Identify on the two rings. He then tosses them back to Tomoe and says, "Unlike the last artifact, these rings are simple Rings of Protection. Both of them are Rings of Protection. They are probably ones bought from a magic shop."

Tomoe takes back the rings and suddenly has a delightful and possibly devious idea. Thank you. These are worth more than the money they are valued at to me. I will make a note of your office hours and try to be more punctual for the next time we meet. Tomoe leaves the man to his business and thinks quietly to herself as she and Lucia exit the property.

After a few more minutes of silence Tomoe asked. How long have we known each other?

Lucia thinks on the question for a bit and says, "Well... I think it's been almost a month at this point. We first met some time last month and now we're almost halfway though this month."

Only a month?! Tomoe exclaims  I had lost track of time. It feels so much longer with all we have been through. She goes silent again for another minute before asking What do you think of me? Like, really think. Be honest please.

Lucia raises an eyebrow and says, placing a kiss on Tomoe."Chief. You're you. When we're busy doing things, I can rely on you to good calls and lead us well. Also when we're just hanging out, you're pretty fun to be around. I mean we've basically been living together for the whole month and there was never a dull moment or when I thought, "What the hell are you doing!?". So that has to say something. Plus I feel like you are both someone  who takes responsibility for what's going on with a strong sense of duty while also being loose enough to where you know what YOU want and who YOU are. I mean you did come here to restore honor in your family so that's a big responsibility right? And even though you were supposed to stay a princess, you chose to become a warrior. You're just the right blend of serious and duty-bound while also knowing when to lighten up... unlike SOME people."

Lucia was of course referring to that guy she once had a crush on who rejected her because of duty.  

Tomoe's internal turmoil is once again calmed by her girlfriend. You...she hesitates for a moment You have become very precious to me. More than i think i cam express. You are a solid point of positive emotion for me. You support me, cheer me on, and give me a reason to keep going and push through the hard times we have had. I can. i can no longer imagine my life with out you in it. I...do not know the customes for this in Chronero but, Tomoe takes out one of the golden rings and gently slides it onto Lucias ring finger. I wish...to be bonded with you...for the rest of our lives

Of course the Chronero custom of proposing marriage is a bit different but the gesture is still clear as day. Lucia looks at the ring Tomoe slipped on her. She blinks a few times and then gives Tomoe a look that she knows all to well. With a smile she shakes her head and says, "Chief... I was wondering when you'd ask. If I'm being honest with you, if I hadn't met you when I did, I probably would have died by now. The only reason that I can spend my life with you is because... well because of you. Spending the rest of my life with you... well it doesn't sound bad at all. Sure. I accept." She gives Tomoe a tight hug.

Tomoe of course returns the hug. Her emotions over flow and she begins to cry tears of pure joy. When they pull away, she whipes her eyes and gives Luca the other ring and, almost shyly, holds out her hand for Lucia to place the ring on her finger.

Lucia remains as cool as ever. Though by now, Tomoe can tell just how happy Lucia is at the proposal. She places the ring on Tomoe's finger and looks up at her, still smiling. "So... when do you reckon we should officially get married. Oh who should we invite? Or would you prefer a smaller ceremony. Maybe send a letter back home to your parents letting them know you have a hot tomboy wife now?"

I do not know if they will come all the way here just to see their disgraced daughter break social norms yet again. But I will write to them and I am sure they will be happy for us in their own way. They were supportive of misadventures in the military, but they have their own obligations and appearances to keep up. 

I think we will wait for their response, good or bad, and then make it official as soon as possible after. 

And I doubt the guest list will be large even if we invite everyone we know.

Lucia said, "Oh I already know some people we need to invite. Also I never took you to meet my parents. It's because they live all the way over in the City Of Haze. We definitely have to Invite Commander Lucy. She taught me a lot about being a Guard back when we did our training in Drake Island. Seraph was there too but he was a year ahead of me."

Tomoe smiles brightly I am excited to meet your parents and your mentor. Outside of my parents I only know you, Kate, and Ingrid and Mystery of course. Maybe the wonderful tailor I have built a working relationship with? Do we count Ms. Murder and her sane companion as friends?

Lucia smiles awkwardly and says, "Erm... I think the answer to that question depends on... would Ms. Murder murder all of us if we don't invite her?"

Perhaps we should just talk  to Chiea and see if she thinks inviting Yuno is a good idea.

Lucia nods, "Sounds good. But Chiea is usually hanging out with Yuno so... I guess we can call her to one side and ask her. Maybe Yuno would respect her privacy since she's friends?"

A bridge to cross when we get to it. Tomoe stands, holding both of her new fiancé 's hands in her own and gazing deep into her eyes. She wants to keep this moment permanently in her memory. 

Soon though she continues.  Do we know Prea enough to invite her? ( can't remember how her name is spelled but I think I'm close enough)
