Tomoe silently nods. She holds Kate for just a moment more before finding the strength to let go. She looks down at Lucia's ruined corpse and tries not to lose herself again. She looks around for their cart. When she finds it she quietly motions Kate and Ingrid help her load Lucia into the cart and cover her up for the journey into town.

It took 4 hours to reach town. It was late at night by this point and all the shops were closed and the lights of houses were off. Luckily, temples don't close nor do they lock up so there was still the opportunity to cart Lucia into one.

After a hours long journey back into town, Tomoe has calmed down alot. Though she hadn't spoken a word since loading what was left if her fiencee into the cart. Her mind shifting away from despair, but still mired in depression. 

When they finnaly reach a temple, Tomoe can hardly find the strength to move, relying on Kate and Ingrid to keep her focused on trying to recover Lucia from an unjust fate. Gradually, her friend and sister guide her in to find a cleric who can help.

The Cleric says rubbing the sleep away from his eyes, "It's quite late. What brings you to the temple of Ephiny at this hour?"

Tomoe takes a deep breath and gently says We...need help. Tomoe presents Lucia's body to the cleric.

The cleric lifts the cloth to inspect the body. He looks a bit annoyed but doesn't let it seep into his words or manners though. "I see... Well I'm afraid it is going to cost 5000 Gold for resurrection services. It must be paid before the ritual. "

Tomoe ignores any physical signs of the clerics annoyance. She simply and, almost excitedly, counts out the money and hands it to him.

The Cleric is surprised. He didn't expect Tomoe to readily hand over the money like that. He honestly expected to hear pleading and crying for a free resurrection due to lack of funds. He stammers out, "Ah uhm... Ah... Please wait here. This won't take long." He picks up Lucia's body and goes deeper into the temple. Tomoe is left to wait in the temple for the next two hours. Eventually the cleric returns followed by a very much alive Lucia. Her steps are unsteady and some of the injuries on her body are still there. Lucia looks tired, pale and sickly. However, Tomoe can't feel the strong sense of wrongness that she felt when Ingrid was resurrected. This was Lucia, the same Lucia she had proposed to and not a strange warped version of her.

Lucia almost collapses into Tomoe's arms and hugs her tight. Her breathing is very heavy. The Cleric explains, "With cases like hers that require stronger form of resurrection..." He adds with a little smugness in his voice, "stronger than anything those hack Plague Doctors can offer..." He continues the rest of his explanation, "the recently revived suffers from Resurrection Sickness. She'll be feeling sick for the rest of tonight and all of tomorrow but then she'll be fine again." He bows, "Thank you for your donation to the temple of Ephiny the Light, Goddess of Life."

Tomoe hugs Lucia tight, not wanting to ever leg go. She manages to a raspy Thank you to the cleric. She helps her resurrected fiance out to the cart to head to the house they've been renting to allow her to rest. She can't help but gold Lucia closely the entire trip.

Lucia tries to comfort Tomoe a bit and brush off the whole event like it was nothing but... she's not doing a very good job thanks to feeling real shit from the resurrection sickness.

Once home, Lucia just crawls into bed and passes out for the night.

The next morning she stays asleep till afternoon and wakes up groggy and with a fever. She says, "Hey... Chief. Can we take tomorrow off too? I don't think I'm ready to head back to the woods again just yet."

Tomoe looks like she hasn't slept sence they got back. That's because she hasn't left Lucia's side. She exhausted a sigh if relief that Lucia finnaly woke up and replies groggily. Yes. I think that would be just fine. She yawn wide and strokes her fiances hair and eases her back to sleep. Eventually Tomoes exhaustion would catch up to her and she passes out by her resting lovers side.

While Lucia isn't very well that too and spends  most of her time lying in bed, she does end up feeling a lot better by night. Her fever goes away and she stops feeling a sick. The experience did mentally drain her though. This is the first time any of Tomoe's friends were resurrected after being dead for too long for the potions to work.

Tomoe is sitting up in the bed, her hand  cupping the top of Lucia's head, and sound asleep. Being awake for so long and having the mental and emotional strain of the event have left her drained. Not as much as Lucia of course, but still overwhelmed.

Lucia lets Tomoe sleep. During this time, Tomoe isn't quite sure where Kate is but she had been cooking the meals for the two of them so maybe she was still in the house?

The next day, Lucia gets out of bed way into the afternoon. Fever is completely gone by now and she's feeling physically fine. Though the experience still weighed her down. She says, "Hey Chief. Let's do something fun today. Go to the bath house. Then we can go watch some plays or something by bored minstrels. Then we can go drinking when its nightfall. Kate should come too. I could use some harmless fun and not worry about monsters and cultists for a bit."

Tomoe yawns and stretches. I could use some relaxation and fun too. And the bathhouse sounds amazing. It is, after all, Where i fist decided i wanted to be your girlfriend. She kisses Lucia passionately, then takes her by the hand. Let us go see what Kate has been up too. 

When stepping out the first thing Tomoe notices is Ingrid standing in front of the door. "Are you doing well Onee-Chan?" She asks, leaning forward. Tomoe can hear the sound of something getting fried and the smell of breakfast. It's a good thing Kate is with them. It's doubtful if Lucia knows how to cook anything other than boiled noodles and Tomoe knows just enough cooking to make do. That leaves Kate to cook all the delicious food the party eats whenever they are at home.

I am better now Emi-chan. What is Kate cooking? It smells so good.

"Kate is making breakfast. The usual eggs, meat and bread." Kate puts the plates down and then taps Tomoe on the shoulder, "Hey can I talk to you a minute?"

um..Sure. Tomoe follows Kate so they can speak in private.

Kate says, "What's going on with Ingrid? The whole time you were in that room, she just stood outside and stared at the closed door. It's really weirding me out."
