Chronero - Single Player DnD

Breaking down the door does not seem to be an option. Tone thinks,  I suppose we cant wait him out, can we smoke him out?

Lucia looks at the door and says with a smirk, "Smoke is good. Smoke will work." She drops her smile and adds, "We have to be careful though. This room has a lot of flammable wood in it. We could set the whole house on fire if we're not careful."

I would not mind so much seeing this building burn. But the fire could spread and that we cannot have. How do we go about containing a fire for our purpose?

Lucia looks at the small crack under the steel door and says, "You know, we don't need a fire, just smoke. We could try laying some drugs in the crack and lighting them on fire. That should fill the smaller room with gas faster than it would this larger room. We will risk killing our target though."

Options are limited. Let's try that then.

Lucia says, "One of us should stay here to guard the door. The target might try to escape."

I will stay.

Kate says, "Alright. I'll go with miss detective over here and get some drugs. Be right back."

A few minutes after they leave. Ruttman comes out of the room and tries to get past Tomoe.

Tomoe is totally standing in the doorway blocking his exit. If she feels she has too, she will shoot him with her crossbow that she totally remembered to pick up after dropping.

Are you sure you want to shoot him? If so roll attack and damage.

Well, shoot a warning shot. Since I cant technecly kneecap him with out risking killing him. If it's not possible to fire a warning shot then Tomoe stands in the door to block him in and grabs him and holds him, then calls for backup.

Okay. Roll Athletics to grab him. Vs DC: 20

nvm. You managed to grab him.

Tomoe pins Ruttman (for a boss, he's not very strong.) And calls for the others. Lucia comes running in followed by Kate. "Well well. Looks like we got our guy."

Let us have a chat, shall we. 

The dwarf man looks terrified. "W-What do you want? Do you want money? I can give you money. Just leave me alone."

Lucia shakes her head and says, "I can tell this is going to be one of those easy interrogations."

That is no fun, I was looking forward to breaking some bones. Tomoe gives Ruttmans are a sharp twist; not bone breaking, but painful on the joints.

Where is lilith, Ruttman? Where are the big bosses in Rat Liver?

Ruttman screams in pain and says, "I-I don't know where Lilith is. I've heard of her. She's a boss in Rat Liver but that's all I know. I-I can tell you about my boss and supplier though. He's name is Shirai. I heard about Lilith from him. H-He might know something. Don't hurt me."

Kate spits on the ground and says, "Tch! This guy is just pathetic. How did he get into Rat Liver?" Lucia quips, "Hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. At least he's being cooperative."

It is a step closer than we were. Now, Tomoe gives another twist Why have so many holy knights convinced themselves what you and Rat Liver are doing is righteous. How far does this corruption go?

Ruttman says quickly and rapidly, "I don't know! Shirai's the one that sent them. He said that his priest told them Rat Liver was holy. I don't know what that was about but I'm not going to say no to a Cleric and a Paladin who want to protect me. Right? Right?"

Kate says, "So it makes sense now. Rat Liver has recently got some kind of Cleric or Paladin to work for them and that guy is convincing other holy minded individuals that the cause is just." She looks serious as she continues, "It means whoever the top boss is, he's either a master manipulator and wordsmith or the Paladin or Cleric that's convincing the others is hella corrupt."

Lucia looks at the bodies of the Cleric and Paladin with a look of concern and says, "These two were pretty powerful. Whether the Cleric or Paladin who's convincing others is corrupt or not, they must be much more powerful for these two to listen to him."

I do not like this at all. We must be very careful with everything from now on. But, what do we do with Ruttman here? He will most definitely tell on us. Or send more assassins for us to slaughter.
