Lucia adds, "You know, I might. What do you think about joining the guard? Unlike the Grand Houses, there are actually pretty interesting people in it."

That might be worth looking I to. Especially if I can spend more time with the prettiest girl I know. Tomoe smiles with absolute sincerity and gives Lucia's hand a small squeeze.

Lucia seems to perk up a bit, "It'll be nice working with you. I'd like you to meet some of the other monks in the team."

Tomoe wants to hear more of Lucia's voice, she quickly glances over to make sure that the napping Kate isnt drowning. If all is well then she asks Lucia 

Tell me about them. If they are half as wonderful as you, then they must be great people.

"Well, I haven't met him yet but one of the guards is a dragon born monk. He actually trained in a monastery before quitting and joining the guard. His name is Seraph Frostfang. I hear he's very confident though a bit serious. I also met one of my seniors. She is stationed in Drake Island. She isn't a monk but she's really nice. Commander Lucy Anne of Ultemor Guard. She's really good with a sword. I want to be more like her if I ever climb the ladder high enough."

I think I could teach you some swordplay. A short blade could complement your style. If you want that is.

Lucia says, "Yeah, I thought about carrying a short sword around but then realized that it would kind of defeat the point of wearing skimpy clothing normally. Everyone and their mother has a club so that's normal and seeing so much skin on display, people tend to not see me as a threat. I could wear a shirt but lots of monks do that. So when they see me, they generally write me off as defenseless." She then sighs and says, "Well, now I'm not sure if they're wrong though. I was kinda useless when we raided that building."

I do not think so. You took out many foes. I doubt Kate and I could have been successful on our own. And you were good for my morale.

"Heh! A moderately competent jester could have done what I did; I distracted foes and 'helped your morale'. Not exactly the kind of things you'd want to take a monk for. You're just trying to make me feel better."

Maybe a little bit, is it working?

Lucia giggles and says, "Well, It's not convincing me otherwise but you are being funny. Thanks for that."

Tomoe melts when Lucia laughs, such a wonderful sound.  I am glad to be able to make you smile and laugh. I look forward to seeing and hearing more if it.

I know we have not known each other for long, but i am really am wanting to know you more. Tomoe says in a breathy, seductive voice. She leans in to Lucia and, if there is no resistance, gives her a small kiss on the lips.

Not only does Lucia not resist, as Tomoe moves to withdraw, she grabs her by the back of the head and locks lips again, for a much longer kiss.

Tomoe is only surprised by Lucia's reaction foe but a moment, as she accepts Lucia's affection. It is what she wanted after all. She holds for as long as possible, savoring every texture and flavor of Lucia's mouth. She holds the kiss until Lucia breaks it.

Lucia breathes heavily as she lets go of the kiss. She stares into Tomoe's eyes. Then Kate who had fallen into the water during sleep woke up from choking on water and sits up straight. "W-WHA! I FEEL ASLEEP!"

Tomoe breaks out into raucous laughter.

Lucia also finds the situation funny and laughs with Tomoe.

A few more hours pass without incident. Lucia remains mostly quiet during all this while Kate gushes about her boyfriend. Then at one point, Lucia pinches Tomoe in the leg underwater so nobody notices it and then she stands up and says, "I gotta go to the washroom. Be right back."

Tomoe gets the hint and waits for a moment to avoid supposition from Kate. I need to use the lady's room. Try not to drown again Kate. would be a shame to go down like that. Tomoe teases as she gets out of the water and walks in the same direction as Lucia to meet her in the washroom.
