Tomoe sighs How many potions are we down to? I still have 10 on me. If we still have a fair few, i dare say we try that last one again. Taking our time to be more cautious and not get ambushed ourselves. 

Lucia says, "I have 1 potion" Kate raises her hands in the air. "No potions."

(Are you passing out the coin when i say i give some to the others? i seem to have a lot more coin than i feel i should.)

I will split what i have. You two seem to be favored targets over me. After enough time has passed for the short rest, Tomoe will split her potions so everyone has 4 except her, but she will buy 1 more so she has 4 as well.

(I do but I haven't gotten around to removing 400 GP that you gave away just now)

Kate says, "Well, that's to be expected. You're the one with the armor and shields. I mean if you had to choose between an armored girl and an unarmored girl, who'd you attack first."

(subtracted 450 GP for potions + Loot division. You have 4 potions now)

Wise words Kate. Tomoe double checks her coin purse. Before we head back out, i think we should hire a mercenary. Someone with some ability to control the battlefield and possibly prevent us from taking unnecessary injury. 

Tomoe would like to hire an abjurist wizard or a support focused cleric. Or even a druid. (with our without a button obsession)    

Kate leans back in her seat and says, "You do realize that mercs experienced with such abilities costs money right? If we were going to hire a mercenary, it would kinda defeat the purpose of us going off and risking our lives in the first place."

Lucia looks at Kate and says jokingly, "If I die, I swear I'm going to haunt your ass." She ten leans forward on the table and says, "She has a point though. If we are going to hire a mercenary, they're going to want cash. Then we would be back to square one. And taking the asking price of mercs into consideration, we might even be left with less money than what we earned."

Tomoe sighs and concedes the point Very well. I suppose it would be to much to ask for another cute girl to conveniently show up wit the skills we need and ask to join us. 

Well then, if we are ready, lets head back out and try to do better this time.  

Lucia giggles and looks at Tomoe seductively says, "What, was one miracle not enough for you?"

Kate interrupts, "I hate to break this up but let's NOT rush in to battle again. Let's calm down and think. My back is still sore and I don't think I'll be able to lie on it for a week."

Tomoe leans over and gives Lucia a quick kiss on the cheek. One is enough for me. And that is why Kate is correct. Let us make a plan of attack this time. What do we know of the area and our targets ?

Kate says, "Well, we know that there are roaming packs of bandits, flying snakes, wildlife and trees in the area around us. Lots of ******* trees. There's also a river that flows east of Brass City. There are also small hills with caves in them. And a waterfall to the north"

(HOLY CRAP! No wounder Lucia is getting dropped so easily. she has no CON bonus. ill have to be on the lookout for ways to fix that)

Flying snakes? As in snakes, that can fly?! That is the worst thing anyone has ever said. 

Kate looks at you weird. "You mean you don't have flying snakes where you're from?"

Not that I am aware of, no. Tomoe shudders at the thought. It sounds nightmarish. 

Kate shrugs, "Eh, they aren't too bad. They aren't poisonous... at least not deadly poison anyway."

Lucia says with a giggle, "Don't worry about it. I'll protect you from the spooky snakes."

Lucia's assurance eases Tomoe. Enough tall of unpleasant things. Let's make a plan of attack. We know the general area, we just need to be cautious getting there. Tomoe pulls out the bounty bill again to reread it.

So, it is just slaying goblins that are part of a monster gang. We should probobly try to keep to the outskirts of their territory,  picking off small camps.

Kate takes a look at her copy of the bounty list and says, "Well, technically, this lists bounties on other creatures as well. Ones that may or may not be Razorback but are definitely guilty of heresy." She then adds, "But I unless we really want to die today, I don't think going after the bigger things on the list is a good idea. It lists prices for stuff like Ogres, Trolls, Lizardfolk and this thing I've never heard of called Pin-Tail"

It is preferred not to die. Let us stick to the smaller game. I assume the bigger stuff is deeper into the forest. We should be relatively safe enough keeping to the forest edges and taking out small camps. 

Kate stands, "Sounds like a plan. Ready to go then?"

Whenever ready, roll Survival or Perception. In case you want to get Kate or Lucia to do it, Their bonuses are -1 for both (Kate) and +5 Perception; +3 Survival (Lucia). Feel free to roll for them.

Tomoe will help Lucia so she gets advantage on her roll
