The rest of the trip passes uneventfully. The next day. when the party was nearing Brass City once again though, they see a man with black hair and quite remarkable physique. He wears an orange karate gi and a black belt. His body is quite muscular, even more so than Kate, yet it also has that agile, toned and elegant quality that Lucia's physique has. He is accompanied by a young looking, short elf lady with a slightly blue skin tint and red hair. Though she isn't a drow though. The man spots Tomoe and crew and runs over to them. He is surprisingly fast.
"Hi! You guys look strong. I'm Gokul. What's your name?" From his ascent it is clear that he is also originally From Edo.
Lucia whistles a bit at the guy (she is attracted to both afterall) but then she suddenly gets a more focused look and studies the elf companion, almost as if she's trying to remember something.
"Oh you're Tomoe!" He says and immediately takes a fighting stance with his fists ready to punch. His face though, doesn't show any sign of hatred or malice oddly enough. He says, "I trained hard in Edo and then left in search of stronger opponents to fight against. I heard that you were one of the very few women to have proven themselves worthy to be a Samurai. I also heard you went up against a gang all by yourself. That means you must be really strong! Let's fight!"
Sorry to disappoint you but I do not fight for fun. And my skill only shows with a weapon in my hands. If you want a fist fight, ask my friend Kate here. She is much stronger than I am.

His attention instantly turns to Kate and says, "Wow, you're stronger than Tomoe? That's amazing! I need to fight you!" Kate look to Tomoe for advice. Usually when she's had to draw her sword, it's been for hostile threats trying to murder them but this is something entirely different. She's not sure of what to do here.
The fighter in orange says, "Of course! Killing is wrong. We just fight with all we got until one of us gives up or passes out. No killing though" (Normal combat but hitting 0 HP means you go unconscious but stable. Wake up again after 1d4 hours with 1 HP)
Kate nods and turns to Gokul. "So you want a fight with just our fists or can I use my magic sword?" She points to the vicious Great Sword strapped to her back. Gokul eyes and says, "I want you to hold nothing back. If that means fighting with a sword then use it. Though..." he looks a bit puzzled and says, "I've never heard of a fighting style that uses a Great Sword. Wouldn't a long sword be more useful?" Kate seems annoyed by that comment. She gets off from the carriage and says, "Alright. let's go then."
You now have control of Kate for this 1 vs 1 match.
The fighters both start off 30ft away from each other. As soon as the fight begins, Gokul fires of a volley of radiant energy at Kate. Kate was taken by surprise and while she did manage to block two of the attacks, the remaining two bolts strike her in the gut and the shoulder. Burn marks appear on her body. The Gokul flies through the air backward and lands 60ft away from Kate, ready for her move.
Lucia approaches the elf and strikes up a conversation. She seems to suspect something and is investigating that.
As soon as Kate got into swinging range, Gokul slammed her head from both sides with his palms, making Kate see black and stunning her. He erupts into a flurry of punches and kicks, delivering two swift punches to Kate's torso. As soon as Kate begins regaining her senses, Gokul does a flight assisted backflip and kicking Kate in the jaw and stunning her once more. He realizes that his punches aren't doing as much damage as it should. He flies back from the dizzy Kate. "Ha-ha-ha-ha!" He lets out a series of short grunts and launches at Kate 6 bolts of radiant energy. While one hits the ground behind Kate, the other 5 completely pepper her with bruises, burns and broken bones. Kate is in her last legs (6 HP left) and Gokul then flies back to put more distance between himself and Kate. The unrelenting beatdown Kate was receiving got even Lucia's attention.
((Yeah... Though she still has that one fighter level so she can Second Wind to get 1d10+1 HP back. Hopefully it might let her survive one more round because Gokul has to be running low on ki))
