Tomoe ties the girl a 2nd time to a chair so she is double bound and gagged. Doughtfull she can get out of that. What do we do with the dead ones?

Kate says, "I guess we dispose of the bodies. Maybe throw them in the slums in bags. That's usually what Rat Liver does so it's Karma."

That will work for me. Would you mind doing that while I watch our captive?

Kate looks out at the night sky and says "yeah, that's probably for the best. I'll see you later."

When Kate leave, Tomoe gently wakes her captive. Wake up my cute little assassin. She says softly. We need to exchange words.

She wakes up and surprisingly, the first words she says don't convey terror or fear but a resignation. "You... The operation went sideways huh?"

Quite. Tomoe answers in a flat tone. And now your mine, to do with as I please. Lucky for you i have soft spot for pretty things. Tomoe gently caresses the girls cheek. Tell me your name, please. 

She says flatly, "Adelle." Then she adds, "Alright, so I'm not dead which means you want something. What is it?"

Why, I just want us to be friends, Adelle. Tomoe says with as much sincerity as she can must. I want us to be good friends. The closest of friends. And of course, such friends share things. Things like, who hired you to kill me. And, as your friend, I would hope you would confide in me your reasons for taking on a clearly suicide mission . Tomoe drags the chair Adelle is tied to next to Tomoes bed. Tome sits on the edge of her bed, crosses her legs and rests her chin on her hand, supported by her legs. Now, as my friend, tell me what I wish to know, please.

 Adelle says, "This wasn't supposed to be a suicide mission. We unlock the door, sneak in, kill Kate and anyone else she's with in their sleep and leave. It should be simple. Then the over zealous dimwits (talking about the Holy Knights) got impatient and bust the door down. Not exactly sure what happened after that. Things went by real fast. Now about my employer, well it's Rat Liver but you guessed that much already. If I rat them out, they'll be coming for me so what's in it for me if I spill the beans?"

My dearest Adelle, I am a woman of action, lies do not become me. Tomoe gently grabs Adelles chin with her thumb and forefinger, she begins to lean I to the girl.  I have taken down 2 rats nests with little trouble. I speak the truth when I say I want to your friend. Inching closer and closer to the girls face, Tomoe softness her voice to a loud whisper, I can offer you my protection if you side with me. I speak the truth when I say I have a soft spot for pretty things, like yourself... Tomoe gently kisses Adelle on her lips. 

After a long moment of enjoying Adelles warmth, Tomoe breaks the kiss and pulls back. Her eyes swimming slightly she says What happens next, my dear, is up to you.

Adelle did not expect the kiss and was a bit flustered. However, she knows what she wants from this bad situation. She responds, "Sorry chief but I don't buy it. What's stopping you from offing me after I spill?"

That is fair, we only have just become friends. Very well my dear, Tomoe stands and draws her sword. She stands over Adell, and takes a moment to look her in the eyes. Then with a single motion, Tomoe drags her blade across her hand, leaving a long wound and a trail of blood.

I hear by swear, that a long as you stay by my side, I will give my life to keep you from harm. Be it those who seek to destroy you from with out, or those from within. This oath I make on my blood, and the blood of my ancestors.

Adelle shrugs or at least as much of a shrug that's possible being bound. She says, "Well I'm dead anyway so what does it matter. I was hired by Ruttman. He's portly dwarf merchant working with Rat Liver."

Tomoe quickly bandages her hand. She leans in and passionately kisses  Adelle again. In the midst of the kiss, Tomoe undoes the bonds, releasing Adelle from the ropes and her lips.  Thank you. Now, as you said, your probobly dead unless you stick with me. And clearly, I like you. So what do we do now ? I've vowed to protect you as long as your loyal. Would you care to join us as we bring down this horrid gang ?

Adelle gets up and says, "You know, I think I'm going to go lay low instead. Going to stay in a different city until the heat dies down. I don't wish to storm a merchant's mansion."

Oh, very well. My vow still stands. If you get into trouble, come see me and I'll help.

Adelle says, "Right. I'll be going now." She still doesn't fully trust the situation so she leaves cautiously.

What do you do now?

Tomoe will try to finish her long rest. She will tell Kaye what she has learned after said long rest. 

Tomoe rests herself on the bed and before long, she falls asleep. She wakes up to Kate having food ready. She says, "Got rid of the bodies. What happened to the assassin girl?"

After hearing your story, she says, "You really like letting potential trouble go, don't you? What's going to happen if she rats on us now?"
