Kate says, "Yeah that sounds like a good idea. You wanna hire Jamica again or do you think we should hire someone else?"

Maybe, but I'm worried about you. You get stabbed alot. I think that maybe we should hire someone who has more defensive spell capabilities.

Kate hits her chest once with her right hand and says, "Don't worry about me. I have tough hide. I can take a stab wound or ten. Spell casters, offensive or defensive, cost a lot. I think we might be better going for brawlers. Though if you really want spell casters, House Serpent has mercs that do such work for members. Convincing a member of the Great Houses will cost more money than we have." She thinks for a bit and says, "Have you heard of the Undertown? They say that the best mercs are found there. Problem is: we have no idea how to get there."

Tomoe ponders for a minute or two. Hmmm, perhaps we go for more bodies on our side then? Save money by not going with a mage and reinvest in more hands? 

Kate says, "Well, we were able to handle an ambush with a mage relatively easily. If we gang up and focus fire on enemy spell casters, we should be able to take them down. But..." She stops for a second, "I'm worried about something. Did you notice the two holy knights that were sent with the hit squad? I'm worried that this guy may actually have a Paladin or a Cleric on his crew. I know I said something similar with Desmond but with him, we didn't see any Holy Knights. This time the chance is high. How do we deal with a Cleric or a Paladin? The mages we fought till now had nothing better than mage armor. How are we going to deal with a heavily armored spell caster?"

I am worried about that too. Perhaps we could find someone skilled in anti magic ?

"Anti Magic?" Kate scratches her head. "You mean like someone with stuff like Darkness, Silence and Counter Spell? Okay, I don't know anyone like that. Do you have any idea where we might find someone like that?" She then adds, "Or... are you talking about Monks? I mean they are called Anti-Mages but I think that's more because they are better at Denying the witch. They don't exactly have ways to stop spells."

A monk would do well. Their ki powers can help protect them from some spells. Let's try to hire one of them, unless you would like someone more inclined to our styles of fighting?

Kate thinks for a while and says, "Cheaper monks are found at the Arena where we fought King. I know of a powerful monk that also has assassin skills named Gadina who hangs around at the Golden Dune. Problem is she isn't cheap. I think we should head over to the Arena to see if any of the Monks there would like to join us. We have to be careful to not be seen by the champion though."

How about this. Tomoe pulls up her long white hair into a bun, takes of her blue sircoat revealing the red and black colored armor beneath and fully puts on her helmet and face mask/guard. And now, with my face hidden and my coat off, I look completely different. She then pulls out of her luggage, a sky blue kimono with a wood brown tree sewn In it, with flowering pink buds. You put this on, and we do it your hair a bit, and expertly apply some makeup. And you would look like a noble from my homeland.

Kate says,  "I don't think I have the face of a noble" she points to the scar on her face. "But I guess it's better than the other way around since I don't need armor. Alright let's do this."

Cue makeup montage!

Also roll for Disguise Kit. Stat used: DEX. It will determine how convincing the disguise is.

(OOC: Just to be clear, the Champion in the arena is not part of any gang. The reason Kate keeps talking about avoiding being spotted by her is because the champ is a serial killer that LOVES to kill things. If she spotted the two of you and was in the killing mood, well... good luck against a max level fighter with super-powered magic items.)

The disguise is very convincing. Were it not for the scar, Kate looks almost like a real princess. You're pretty sure people will believe you if you say Kate is a noble from NotJapan Your homeland.

Tomoe give Kate a large fan to help screen her face and hide the scars that the makeup couldn't.  A convincing illusion, if I do say so myself. And with my regalia off and in just my armor, I would be taken for your body guard, Princess...

"Princess? That... sounds weird. Whatever, we're are we headed to first?" Kate says as she walks to mirror to take a look. She jumps at her own reflection. "Gah! I look so weird like this. Wait. Where's my Great Sword?"

I will carry it for you. A noblewoman would not carry a weapon. But if we needed to , i am sure we could hide some smaller weapons under the dress.

Also, i would like to stay away from the mentally I'll pit fighting champion. If there is a safer place to hire the types we need, I say we proceed there.

Kate nods in agreement. She says, "Unfortunately the pit attracts a lot of monks while others are taken by the Houses. I guess we should go talk to Gadina. Maybe we could get her to-" Suddenly you hear a knock on the door.

As the body guard, I wait for the 2nd knock,m before I would answer through the door. Not opening the door.

A feminine yet tomboyish voice rings out from the other side, "This where Kate and Tomoe are? I heard you guys are taking on gangs."

And who is it that asks such questions ? State your intent.
