Sora turned towards Nemeia frowning at the thought, "At this point I'm not entirely sure if he ever intended to pay us in the first place. But we can deal with that after we get the proof we need. Then we'll be sure to get our promised payment out of him one way or the other." After listening to what Konor had to say she added, "It sounds like we have even more reason to check out her house. If it's as dangerous as you say it is then there's a good chance she's hiding something good in there."
Witt walks to the door of the assassin's cell, and presuming that at least one guard remains around to protect him, he rather awkwardly knocks on one of the bars to get the assassin's attention. Hello? I suppose I can't really call you Don, because that's probably not your real name. Do you mind telling me what your name actually is? I don't think it will make your situation any worse, and I'd like to know. My name's Witt, by the way.
The prisoner's movements in response to Witt's words make it clear he can hear the small cleric, yet he doesn't respond. In fact he seems very determined to avoid speaking to anyone, and continues to very emphatically look anywhere else.
This is a terrible place, and a terrible fate to befall anyone,Witt says quietly to the prisoner. Even someone who was willing to take coin to kill a child, which is a very terrible thing as well. It would be easy to give up all hope, in such a place. Do you have a faith? In my lessons, I was taught that some of the most hardened criminals and assassins worship Cyirith, or perhaps the Serpent Queen, but that most have no faith, believing in nothing beyond this life. But I do not find that my lessons always match what I see in the world.
Khorzik addresses Moira as they exit the cell block. "Masterfully done. I am thoroughly impressed by your resourcefulness. I hope to never be the subject of your machinations." The last part seems delivered as a straightforward compliment, with no foreboding or sarcasm.

The assassin shuffled a bit on the bed as he continued staring a hole into the far wall of his cell. He remained steadfastly quiet for as long as he could before eventually speaking up, not even hiding the anger in his voice,"Go preach elsewhere. I've already had my mind and my will played with, I'm not interested in any more of your lies."
He did not even bother turning to look back at Witt, maintaining his gaze on the other side of the cell the entire time.
Moira replys to Sora. ”I think checking on Linthe’s house is a good next step.“ Then turns to Khorzik and whispers conspiratorially “To be honest part of me wished he hadn’t fallen for it. I had another idea that would have been more fun but I thought this had a better chance of working. Maybe another time though.”
I don't have any lies for you,Witt says. I'm not very good at lying, you see. And I am sorry for the way they... the way we tricked you. That sort of magic is really dangerous. I wonder if my friends understand how dangerous it is.
In any case, I'm here to try to help you to find a better way. To help you keep your head and get out of this cell, if I can. You'd probably find it quite easy to manipulate me, but honestly you don't need to bother, I'm already quite keen to do what I can. So I want to ask you to co-operate with Konor and with his guards. They want you to act as a witness against the Duchess, and I think you should. I can't promise that anything I say or do will actually make much difference, but I want you to know that I am trying, and you're not alone. So please, hold on to hope.
Witt says a quiet prayer to the Harvest Watcher, and then leaves to follow the others.
Nemeia nods in agreement to Moira. "Are there any legal rulings we should know about in confronting someone of her title? I want to make sure this is all done properly. People of her stature seem to always have a way of slipping away from justice."
"I'm not worried about Linthe's fake title." Sora shrugged, "She's still a criminal and a fugitive. If we manage to capture her, there are people who will gladly deal with her for us. If capture isn't an option, those same people are just as happy if she met a sudden and unfortunate demise."
Nemeia nods. "And I doubt we get too much trouble when it comes to light that we've been working with the Queen. Does Linthe have any other friends here that we should be concerned with?"
"Who knows. Doubt it'll matter either way right now." Sora said as she turned and started walking out of towards the castle exit. "We can't wait around wondering what might happen. We should go and search that house instead."
She will, if possible, make her way out of the castle and towards Linthe's house.
(Hopefully with everyone else along, cause I think only Moira knows where it is.)
Moira will lead the group toward Linthe's manor. "How do you all want to do this? Are we just going to walk up to the front door and knock? Or did you want to try and sneak in? Perhaps we could split up and do each? Some could serve as a distraction while the others try to sneak in."
Witt is following, yes. Perhaps we should stay together this time, he suggests. I don't really have any ideas except to knock on the front door. But as far as the city guard is concerned, this is still a member of the nobility. Someone they will protect if we just march up to the door and cause trouble. I'm sure the queen will clear things up eventually, but until then, we have to keep the watch safe as well.
Nemeia nods in agreement as she follows the others. She wasn't sure how this was going to go down, but she wanted to make sure that she was ready for it.
“I think sneaking in is always reliable. Well, that actually depends on what our goal is. Are we going to rid the world of her or what?”, 9 keeps pace with the group.
"Hmm. That seems a bit much. I don't think we have any proof yet of what she has done or is trying to do here. I know you got a...?bad feeling?...about her but do you know any more than that?"
"I'd say our first goal right now is just finding out more about her. What's Linthe planning? And Why?" Sora Said following Moira closely as they walked to this house. "For now my plan is just to try the front door, and stick together. So long as we don't make too much noise we should be fine."
Khorzik opens a pouch, and a grey rat pokes its head out. "I have created an alchemical homonculous that could scout the mansion prior to our arrival. If within 100 feet I can see through its eyes and hear through its ears."
