As the night moves on, the celebrations continue. Until finally everyone finds their way back for some well earned rest. Which doesn't last nearly long enough as Gerald is up very very early already pushing to get the caravan moving quickly to make up for lost time. The sun isn't even completely risen and already he's yelling at everyone to get ready. Including banging on the doors of the party members who's rooms he's aware of or can find out.
A new morning comes to the tiny town of Greymeadow, one in which the party will find themselves leaving the place where they all first met.
Nemeia groans as she shakes off the celebrations from the prior night. Cali has been pawing at her for a while now to get her out of bed but the tiefling has been fighting it. Finally, she relents and moves to get herself ready. She looks over her gear making sure everything is in place before letting Cali escort her to the main lounge for a quick meal. "I know we hadn't been here long, but it turned out to be quite the little town. I didn't find anything for my research, but I did find some new companions that I call friends."She stuffs her face with a biscuit covered in a light jam. Her meal is eaten rather quickly as she watches Gerald scrambling about in preparation of the trip.
As the sun light streams through the cheap broken wood shutter of the room's window, Sora slowly groans awake. She looks over at the strange woman sleeping next to her for a moment before the events of last night finally begin to filter to her waking brain. She lets a dumb grin slide across her face before slowly and carefully sliding out of the bed so as not to disturb the other woman. Grabbing all of her gear she slips out of the room before putting everything on her person in order to avoid being discovered. Feeling great about the day already, Sora leaves the Waning Lure and heads down to the Thief's Respite where the rest of the party would be.
As soon as she enters she immediately spots Gerald running around madly trying to force everyone to get moving so they can get on their way. Looks like I made it with some time to spare. Sora thought to herself as she grabbed some biscuits for a quick and dirty breakfast. She didn't even bother sitting down since it didn't feel like she'd have enough time to spend really enjoying the food.
"Hey Nemeia! Hey Cali!" Sora called out to the other person she recognized while petting the mechanical creature, "How'd you guys sleep?"
Nemeia smiles at the sight of Sora. "Not quite long enough if I had my choice, but comfortable none the less. How about yourself? I hope the celebration didn't wear on you too much."
9 blinks as her mind refocuses on the reality around her. She shifts in her comfortable bed, still in slight disbelief of what is happening, and starts putting on her usual attire. She takes her new dagger in her hand briefly, and tosses it around in her hand, getting used to it for now. Quickly shoving it back around her belt, she attaches the whip near it and throws her bag on, with her hood already lightly concealing her scarred face. She moves towards the door, before turning back and throwing a final glance at the room. “Morning. Does anybody know how far the capital is?”
Having spent a good portion of the evening in her room working on some new spells and some personal projects Moira had turned in at a decent hour. She is nearly packed and ready to go by the time Gerald knocks at her door. She quickly heads down and grabs some food for herself and for Rusty then heads out to the caravan to see if she can help get hings ready. After helping for a little bit Rusty hops down off of his perch where he had been chittering directions at those working and darts off toward the road. Moira follows to see that he had spotted Sora making her way to the Inn. Moira enters just behind her. "I slept well enough. They are rather nice beds. Did you have some early morning errands?" Rusty scampers over and starts playing with Cali.
Overhearing 9's words, Gerald calls out,"It's normally three days to reach Tarrin Castle from here, but I plan to make it there in 2 if we can get a bloody move on!" He doesn't seen to care if he's interrupting another conversation, as he moves back and forth rushing everyone in the caravan to get ready to leave soon.
Witt is helping to check that everything is tied securely in the caravan. Morning, everyone! he says brightly. Wow, two days to Tarrin Castle, Gerald, that's quite a task. Standing at the front of the caravan, he looks up to the sky and says a prayer for a blessing of the Harvest Watcher; it's a common prayer, so hopefully some of the caravan's folk will join in.
As they are setting off, Witt uses his "Of the Land" feature to get a sense of how the weather will be through the day, and for the next few days if possible.
Moira will pick up Rusty and sit on one of the wagons. As soon as the caravan clears the village she will spend a minute to summon the additional hawk familiars. Setting them to circle the caravan as it travels and give them all warning if they spot anything. She then hops down and finds Niemeia.
After a full morning's worth of urgency from Gerald, the caravan is able to get all of their wagons, horses, and remaining harvest all secured and ready to move. Soon the entire caravan is on the road with the entire party it tow. The pace is a bit faster then the normal slow and steady pace, but still easy enough to push forward for a full day of travel. As the trip continues, Gerald spends most of it checking his map as he tries to determine the best places to rest and possibly camp later that day. Meanwhile the guards remain on watch as they continue moving forward, keeping an eye out for any dangers, natural or otherwise.
Everyone who wants to assist the other guards make Survival and Perception checks
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Moira will work with Gerald as they travel to see if there are better times to summon the hawks as they travel. To try and cover the more dangerous stretches of road seeing as she can only cast two times between tests and each time lasts one hour.
At first Sorafeels a little awkward, as she's more accustomed to traveling alone. But soon she finds her rhythm, moving along with the rest of the caravan as she keeps an eye out around them. Mainly her thoughts are with the people she's fought with and adventured together recently. Trying to decide what to make of them, but unsure how to broach such a topic. So for now she mostly wanders back and forth along the caravan, keeping an eye out for dangers as best she can.
As she's hardly accustomed to swamps and caravan travel in general, she doubts she can provide much assistance. But at least it helps pass the time for now.
When Moira asks about her sword sheathes, Soracasually pulls out her sword, and thrust them into the ground just long enough to unlatch her scabbard belt that holds both sheathes. She tosses the belt and attached sheathes to Moira so she can look at them then picks up her swords, cleaning them quickly before resting the flat of the blades on her shoulders.
The sheathes are nothing special, about as generic leather belt and scabbard as you can imagine.
Sora continues holding onto her swords for as long as Moira wants to look at those sheathes. Though noticing her talking to everyone, Sora would begin following Moira after this, curious about her conversations and what she's up to.
"You have an interesting way of getting to know people."
Moira takes the sheathes compares the two to then holds them along her arm. And wraps her hand around different sections. Hitting down a few notes in a small note book. Then hands them back to Sora. “Don’t be silly. This isn’t how I get know people. It’s how I thank them.” She smiles a bit mischievously. “Oh I almost forgot. How did the dagger you had Mary make for you turn out?”
Sorablinked once as she just looked at Moira for a moment before responding. "It, uh, didn't? I think that's 9 you're thinking of. I already got all the daggers I need." Once Moira handed back her sheathes, Sora went about replacing her swords in them and fastening the belt back on. Taking a moment to make sure her swords are both secure and comfortable around her waist. She still continued following Moira for a bit for curiosity's sake.
To Moira, Witt replies happily. Why of course, please do take a look. He takes the amulet from around his neck and hands it to Moira. It's not valuable exactly, it's just a symbol of faith. The Harvest Watcher is represented by the sheath of wheat and the scythe, you see. But in other places, his symbols are different, I believe. There are places where fruit are more commonly depicted, and others show different crops. It's helpful in casting spells - it's not completely necessary, but without it I would have to carry round a little bag of strange items making sure they didn't get all mixed up, and having to find the right one in a fight, well, that's not really a good way to go about things. So instead, as Oryn blesses me with the gift of magic every day, he also blesses me through this amulet.
He will happily babble about the amulet, its meaning and uses and history, for hours if presented the opportunity.

As the caravan is moving, Witt wanders over to Nemeia and Cali, approaching Cali a little warily. Hello?

At various times through out the journey Moira will approach each of the others.

"If I am not being to intrusive could I ask why you cover your eye?"
Nemeia
"Could I look at your crossbow for a moment?"
OOC - I'm not sure if you have a strap on your crossbow to carry it or not. If so she will just ask to see the strap.
Sora
"May I take a look at one of your sheathes?"
Witt
"Could I see your amulet?"
OOC - I am assuming your holy symbol to be some sort of amulet. If not she asks to see what ever your holy symbol is.
When Moira asks about her sword sheathes, Sora casually pulls out her sword, and thrust them into the ground just long enough to unlatch her scabbard belt that holds both sheathes.
