Shae will walk over to Berrus, handing him what rope she has. “I’d imagine a fall from that height he’d need some medical care, assuming he’s not dead. Unfortunately I have no medical supplies to give you as I’ve used it on the rest of the crew. I’ve also spent all my healing resources until I can get a long rest in. I believe Zip may be able to assist with that part if needed. I can hang by to keep an eye on you going down Berrus.”
As Faekin draws the rapier, it suddenly morphs into a bouquet of flowers, before wilting and becoming a humanoid skull, with still rotting flesh on it. As he looks up, Faekin sees himself suddenly far from the ship, surrounded by bones, in the middle of a large ruin of a flooded city. Trying to get his bearings, he realises that he is partly submerged, and as he moves forward he glances down and sees dozens of statues submerged in the water, all eerily lifelike, seemingly trying to reach for him. In a panic, he runs forward, trying to climb up onto a crumbling wall, out of the water.
As he reaches the ledge, the city is gone, and he finds himself looking down on the entire continent from a huge height, as if he were the Roc, flying above the jungle. He can make out glittering bands of snaking rivers and plains glowing golden in the setting sun. At the edges of the large forests, mountains break through the sea of green, sometimes with fuming tops. Faekin, or the bird, descends onto one of the mountains, only to shift again and find himself back in the wooden tunnel of the ship, holding his rapier, finding himself slashing at a large colourful butterfly. Only, he sees himself do this, from outside of the ship- with a voice in his head telling him "Faekin, this can't be. Faekin, this is not right. Faekin, wake up. Faekin, get to work."

Berrus slowly and carefully descends, being lowered down to the forest floor by the remaining passengers and crew still remaining up above. After about three minutes, he reaches the forest floor safely. In the evening sun, the light barely makes it to the forest floor, rendering it in deep, all-consuming shadows. The air is filled with the scents of fruit and plants, as well as moist earth and decay. The air is humid, and within moments, Berrus' clothes stick to him. Beyond the moisture, the air is abuzz with the sound of flies and other insects, as well as noises from larger animals, slowly getting ready to hunt during the night.

Faekin tries to concentrate again, he tries to wake up, this feels like a dream. He remembers that he always woke up when he started to fall in dreams. So he is imagining being on the flying ship again, walking to it's edge and just jump.
“Ah, thank you Maxine, but perhaps I will hold onto the map just in case...are you okay?” The Professor asks with concern, as she slips and falls. “Perhaps I can make a sketch if...oh, right” he trails off, looking back to where his supplies were kept in the now fallen stern of the ship.
It was a rare moment when Maxine was close to cry - how could she be SO clumsy! Twisted ankle served her right!
"Thank you, Professor, I will be fine if can fix that" she pointed at her ankle. "Good thing you did not give me the map". If there is any piece of cloth laying around - she will use it as a bandage, if not - cut off some piece from her clothes.
"Professor, may I look at that book of yours? My teacher - he was a mage, not the big kind but still - he did not know much about Chult. And there was no books about it either. I tryed to ask around, but ... just bits and pieces. But this - this looks amazing!".
“Of course, Maxine,” replies the professor kindly, adding, “and feel free to take a tracing or two if you have the paper and quill—mine are unfortunately somewhere on the jungle floor in the crashed aft section.”

Hearing the piercing scream, Shae would lay chest down on the deck and scootch up to pear over the edge where Berrus went down, scanning the area below them frantically. “Berrus!”
Zip's efforts with the pulley contribute well enough to get things secured for descent. He's relieved at least since it seemed as though everyone was more worried about their own little chores rather than getting on solid land. Professor S was next; why was it that everyone was so clearly hurt or productive and this one saw fit to be a lump over some book? With only a cursory glance, he immediately recognized the telltale sag of his shoulder.
"Hold still, this is only gonna hurt a bit....a lot." Zip swings his crossbow out, racks a small lever, and a needle springs forth with a click. Before an objection is heard, he inserted a glass vial into an underside compartment and stuck the stubby needle into the professor's back. Barely long enough to pass bone, but plenty to reach muscles, nerve, and tissue, Zip's contraption is out before anyone can realize where it's been. "Solution of herbs, roots, and a healthy dose of a flower extract that'll knock you on your ass with too much."
Berrus tsking the maiden voyage of the pulley gave Zip a hopeful smile, "Hey, how study do we thinl this thing still is? Rig me up to a tree branch, and I'll go grab my things. Might be we can even start getting a few crates lowered too whrn I'm secured."

"Thanks...I think," responds Professor S to the injection, rubbing the back of his left shoulder where the needle went in. Feeling better more quickly than he anticipated, Snively tests his footing on the newly secured deck, standing up slowly. "Nice job, gentlemen," he calls to his porters.
Looking over the work with the pulley system, the professor is impressed that it easily held the weight of a fully laden dwarf. "Nice job, Zip. My porters can help you send down the rest of the intact supplies using the pulleys in batches less than or equal to the dwarf's weight, to be safe." Thinking for a moment, he adds, "If you would be kind enough to lower me down next, I can be of more use moving supplies over the ground than up here."
Once his is down on the ground, the professor will work with the people ground-side to find a good staging/camping area for the supplies far enough away from the ship that if, for some reason, it gets dislodged and falls, they will be out of the impact zone. He will do his ritual for the floating disk, enabling easy transport of items lowered down from the pulley to their campsite over the next hour.

Shae, you see the heavily armoured dwarf slowly moving towards the wreck, and nothing close by that would indicate any issues with Berrus. Berrus has no problem finding the wreckage of the stern section. In the middle of the hallway, he sees stretched out on the ground the bruised and broken figure of Faekin, unconscious and violently shaking. Berrus is quite sure that it was Faekin, who was the source of the scream, but just to make sure he draws one of the handaxes.Despite his efforts to shake Faekin awake, he is unable to get Faekin out of his stupor.
After Berrus' all clear, the Professor, now feeling much better thanks to Zip's concoction descends on the pulley and, with the help of his porters who descend as well, starts to move goods from the ship. He has chosen a site a good fifty feet away from the large trees on which the ship now rests, in a patch cushioned by moss and other ferns and plants. Before moving any of the gear, he instructs Bertrand to do his best to clear the area of any critters and dangerous plants. Though not entirely sure which plants could be considered dangerous, Bertrand gladly goes about his new task, just happy to be on solid ground.
Meanwhile, Maxine takes a cursory glance at the Professor's Gazetteer, amazed by the illustrations and detailed descriptions of flora and fauna available in the jungles. Given how little information was generally available on Chult though, she couldn't help but wonder how much of it was accurate information and what was simply hearsay from adventurers or wizards hoping to sell their guide.
