Professor, you get to act before the hag, she has made you out and threatened to kill you. Berrus, you can act after the hag, meaning you won't be able to impose disadvantage on her attacks in the first round.
Ladies, with your phenomenal stealth rolls, you are not noticed and make your way to the skull, ready to get inside. As you hide within the hag's lair, you are struck by the vast array of curios and bizarre items stacked on shelves carved into the giant's bone: from tinctures and oozing liquids, to various preserved animal parts, voodoo dolls, to carved wooden amulets. The place is heavily cluttered, and it will take a while to look through everything, if you don't prioritise. Please roll for perception, and describe what you're trying to look for, and how you go about doing so.

The Professor:
Concentrating on the upcoming battle, the Professor doesn't spare a word for the hag, instead saying with forced cheer, "Keep sweeping!" as the Unseen Servant moves to another sigil and obliterates it. Hoping that the destruction of her summoning circle will weaken the crone but unwilling to approach further until Berrus can go with him, Snively casts a spell and drops a flaming sphere right on top of the hag, hoping to catch her off guard and perhaps scorch her a bit. Flaming Sphere Fire Damage: 7 , DC 13 Dexterity save for half.
If the Professor is hit by an attack or targeted by a Magic Missile spell, he will cast Shield as a reaction.

Shae would whisper, "Guide us..." then she'd start blabbering out loud to Maxine from her memory, "Mother of the stone.... Amulet... or ritual stone... kinda like what the Professor found I think... Mother of the stone..." She'd start repeating herself in mutters as she spots the wooden amulets, "Not these... not wood... but maybe not far...Mother of the stone..." If there were drawers, she was pulling them open. If there were cabinets, she'd open them.
Arcana, investigation and perception are all the same +3: 16+ 12 lol woops... + 2
She'd prioritize looking for the amulet or ritual stone. If they happen to be lucky enough to find it quickly, Shae would look for anything that could be medicinal and/or anything that could neutralize the hag/whisps.
The hag dodges the flaming sphere, only suffering slightly. She cackles, as she fixes you with her stare, and with a flick of her wrist, three glowing darts streak towards the Professor, but the glowing orbs dissipate against a thin magical barrier created by his shield spell. The hag curses in frustration, and two whisps come forward to strike at the Professor and at Berrus. The arcane shield crackles momentarily, as the static charge of the whisp manages to penetrate the shield, and Berrus wards off the other whisp with his flaming branch.
Berrus, you have an action if you want.
13 vs 13 for the hag, 22 vs 20 for the attack against the Professor, 12 vs 18 against Berrus
Professor, you suffer 5 lightning damage
Shae, as you search the lair, you try to climb onto a rickety chair to reach the higher shelf on one of the walls, when you slip and fall to the floor of the lair, your spellbook dropping to the ground. As you bend over to pick it back up, you spot the corner of a similar tome poking out of a small satchel, stuck under the straw mattress of the hag's bed. Reaching for the bag, you find a small booklet bound in some kind of leather or parchment, and filled with an unfamiliar script, including some sketches. You also find a round, black pearl about the size of your fist tucked within the bag. It seems to radiate with power.
Maxine, you meanwhile are looking over the desks and cabinets on the other side, when you notice a diagram etched into the wall and three voodoo dolls below it. The diagram looks like a sketch of the summoning circle outside, but the whole thing is overlaid with a triangle with a different symbol on each of the corners. As you look at the voodoo dolls, each one bears one of the symbols on the corners. All look like similar versions of the same nighthag, with a stocky form and thin curved horns, but two of them are bound, one with string made out of twine fibres, the other with dried sinew. The third has neither.

Maxine read enough about Chuild to know about primitive religions - a voodoo doll can be a nonsense (can be not too, which even better) but those who craft it, believe in it's power. She took all three dolls. If there is time and she can work fast, she would copy the circle and triangle on some paper/piece of wood, but in any case, she would add a couple scratches to different symbols on the wall diagram - trying to make it look as part of the design as possible, in case someone will try to re-create the circle.
The she looked around one more time. "Found anything? Look at these dolls - I bet it can scare hags to death if we show them to him. Or we can try if the superstition is true and, say. put the dolls on fire and see what happens."
Shae will equip the satchel to secure it to her person before she starts to investigate in detail. "Maxine, I think I found something. It looks like tomb and a pearl." The warlock would pull out her tomb and open it to see if there's anything that looks familiar that she could compare too. After taking a moment to compare the books, she will turn to the page Kam communicated to her with. She will take the pearl in her hand and turn it over a couple times before placing it onto her tomb. Kam, is this what we are hoping to find?
Feeling pressed for time, Shae would wait as patiently as she could for a few moments to see if Kam would communicate back before she'd move to where Maxine is to see if anything she found would be related to what the artificer's looking at. "What have you stumbled upon?" She would share her findings with Maxine.
Once they feel as though their investigations are complete, Shae would secure the items back on her person. Instead of placing the new booklet she found back in the hags satchel, she'd tuck it into her own. She will tuck the pearl in a safe place on her person as well, near the satchel in case the hag can sense it. Shae will then try to find a similar blank booklet to put in the hags satchel with a rock. "Decoy bag." She'd gesture to the hags satchel to Maxine, wondering if the artificer might have a trick up her sleeve that they could rig the bag with.
Shae, you stare for a couple seconds at the blank page, but nothing seems to happen. Looking through the book, it strikes you more as a notebook or a travel diary, rather than a spellbook like the Professor has, or a tome of secrets, like yours. What strikes you as odd though is the texture of the leather, and the dark brown discoloration on some of the pages, looking almost like dried blood.
Maxine, taking a sheet of parchment and a stick of coal, you make a quick and dirty rubbing of the scratched diagram, before adding your own elements. Taking the dolls with you, you turn to Shae, and as soon as you touch the black pearl she presents to you, you feel some sort of energy wash over you and you feel more alert and stronger than you did in the morning.
As soon as Maxine touches the pearl, you hear an angry scream from outside. "Intruders!"
Maxine and Shae, please roll for initiative as well!

OOC: I think the Professor still has the highest initiative since his bonus is higher than Shae's, so I will go ahead and post for him.
Staggering back from the onslaught by the wisps and the hag, the Professor barely gets his shield up in time to deflect the magic missiles, but a shocking burst of electricity still penetrates his magic and singes him on the left forearm. Keeping pace with Berrus for the big dwarf's protection, the Professor starts to manipulate the wind once more, casting Gust to push the wisps away from himself and his friends.
"Keep Sweeping!" he calls to the Unseen Servant, as the magic circle continues to be demolished. With his remaining (bonus) action, the Professor slams the Flaming Sphere into the hag again, Fire Damage: 7 , DC 13 Dexterity Save for half.
(The Professor has one more spell slot available for shield if the hag attacks him again with the magic missile. Hopefully the wisps will be held at bay by the Gust.)
