The balcony is 20 feet high and can be reached by climbing either spiral staircase on the left or right side
Characters who stand near the altar and look up can see the hollow interior of the beacon tower. The tower’s lower landing is 60 feet above the chapel floor, and the upper landing ) is another 20 feet above that.
There is a bar across the north door holding it closed
Gwyllen slowly approaches the altar and raises her spear, intently driving its blunt end against the dusty floor. Upon impact, the air pressurizes, and sounds grow dim. Frost quickly coats the spear and the pressure softly bursts around her, sending tiny, snowy crystals flying in a sphere, sparkling across the room in all directions.
“Energia topatuko dut”, she whispers softly pulling her cloak tightly around her. She sighs, closing her eyes and dropping to the floor, legs crossed, spear across her knees and eyes rolled back in meditation.
Detect Magick – Duration 10 min, Range 30 feet
For the duration, you sense the presence of magic within 30 feet of you. If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any.
The spell can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
Gwyllen's eyes turn toward X as if remembering that others were in the room for the first time.
"Ah yes, all of you have survived as well," she mentions distantly.
She rises from the seated position, standing the spear in the place it was slammed against the ground. It glows blue and stands on its own, channeling the detection spell as she addresses the group.
"I suppose I promised an introduction. I am Gwyllen Øyvund. I am bound to the Raven Queen and in her thrall. All of my magicks fall under her dark wing as I seek to banish those spirits defying Death in this realm. What great fortune that we have all found each other here..."
She turns as the ghostly raven lands on the blade of the spear in a flutter of black feathers, seemingly unharmed by the sharp point. The Raven's black eyes survey the group as it cocks its head to the side. "And this is Fiachra, my companion and the avatar of our Queen."
Mr. Greenlef - Still gripping onto Manneo's face with his free hand waving at her with his bow/bow hand "I'm Mr. Greenleaf and I'm still not entirely sure where here is."
Torvin says: " It is good to meet new allies that can handle themselves in a fight. My name is Torvin Thunderheart a Cleric in the service of the Great Moradin"
"That makes two of us. I simply appeared in the doorway from a place that I cannot quite remember..."
She closes her eyes and shakes her head as if to clear it. Absentmindedly pulling the frosty orb from within her robes and holding it in her upturned palms. Opening her eyes again, she intently stares at the orb as cobalt flames leap from her eyes into the sphere and ignite it. She holds it close, shivering with chill of her frosty being, attempting to warm herself in vain. Her eyes spark and pop, frost and fire intermittently overcoming the other and misting her face with blue.
"My memory is so very foggy beyond what I feel inherently from my powers. I suppose we will unravel the mystery piece by piece."
"I propose we rest here if possible. We can take shifts to watch for any threats. Who agrees?"
Gwyllen glances at X with a bemused look on her face as he promptly finds sleep .
"What an odd creature... She turns back to her spear and takes it back across her knees in a sitting position.
"I will maintain my concentration for detection of evil magicks around us to in the hopes that we will not be surprised by further enemies. Since I must stay awake, I will take the first watch".
Fiachra croaks and leaps to Gwyllen's shoulder. It seems to turn to ash, disappearing into the thickly woven black feathers on the shoulders of her cloak.
Fiachra's form solidifies from out of the feathers of Gwyllens cloak, hopping to the ground and croaking in low, unsettling tones. Her detection spell expended, Gwyllen stretches and yawns.
"Fiachra will be more than happy to take the first watch so we may all sleep. It will wake us at any sign of trouble, of that I am positive. I require very little rest to regain my strength, so I will join her at some point as well."
The Raven leaps into the air, soaring up to the balcony to alight on its railing. Sharply surveying the room below and the entrance to the chamber.
Raven Companion - You can see through the raven’s eyes and hear what it hears while it is within 100 feet of you. The raven doesn’t require sleep. While it is within 100 feet of you, it can awaken you from sleep as a bonus action.
(We cannot be surprised during rest unless something can banish Fey without being detected)
1 dex save and that is a miss
Skorn will go up towards the zombie and attack for 3 +5
As the dust from battle clears you all see

“I’m Xarxius, y’all can call me X and I came here because I was bored and started wandering.” X says.
“Who’s that big guy? Big-man, the Goliath fan?”

“So you’re a healer?” X says to Torvin. He hands his healing staff to him.
As soon as Gwyllen mentioned rest, X starts snoring
Torvin says to X: " Yes Moradin has blessed me with the ability to heal"
"Well met, Torvin, X and Mr. Greenleaf."

I drop the staff towards torvin while I “Sleep”.
What staff?
