Torvin says to Greenleaf, yes we should go see whats the matter. He will get up and approach the bar as well.

He says to Manneo- Yes, I was just about to leave for the evening. He says to Skorn " Yes" with tearful eyes : He passed on a week ago" " We have been under attack for quite some time, creatures of the night visit us and wreak havoc until Strahd gets his way"

He says to you all " I have spent most of my adult life training with weapons in the hope of one day confronting and killing the Strahd. However, I do not dare seek him out, my sisters safety is more important. 

Skorn says Well, perhaps we can go gather your sister, and you can show us how to get out of this gods-forsaken land. We will ensure your father receives proper funeral rites as well.

Thank you thank you. He must be buried at the church. Let us go then. 

So you guys all gather your things and head down towards the east end of town. As you do you can hear the crying getting increasingly louder.

Mr. Greenleaf - Making his way to bar standing knee height next to Manneo tugging on his pant leg ever so slightly "Manneo are you alright? Can we help with something?"

Skorn slows down as the crying gets louder. Ismark...where is that coming from? 

Dink walks up to the bar and ask the barkeep "Do you know if this devil is able to bring people to this land through dreams? All I know is I was a sleep, had a nightmare and then I wake up with my new friends here in a camp. No letter or anything?"

Dink then ask for the strongest drink he has. Looking around to his new friends "Anyone else care for a drink? on me."

Manneo - Taking the wine that Ismark had put on the bar Manneo hands it to Dink and says, "It may not be wise to drink too heavily in such a strange place." Feeling a tugging at his pant leg he sees Greenleaf and answers his question, "Ah. I just found out that I have been deceived it shouldn't be too surprising as it was foretold by the ***** woman that we had all been decieved...I just didn't realize how far the deception had gone. Come let us take our leave." He then follows Skorn and Ismark out of the tavern and down the road. Hearing the sound of crying it is rather disturbing and awaits an answer from Ismark as to what it may be or where in fact it is coming from so that it can either be dealt with on the way or ignored.  

He says to you "oh sir, that is Mad Marys house" he points to the left where you guys are passing a house that has a delapitated roof

Manneo - Hearing Ismark denote the sound to a Mad Mary he asks, "Does that sound happen all of the time? Are they in trouble like your family?"

Mr. Greenleaf - Walking along side Manneo and Ismark "Is this place always so gloomy and foggy?"

Ismark answers " Since Strahd came into power it has always been this foggy, the gloom didn't happen till the town became unlivable". He does not know why Mad Mary cries

Skorn looks at the house. Perhaps we should investigate?

MR. Greenleaf - Glancing at the Mad Mary's house " That's kind of creepy but if you think it'll help with our predicament I'm all for it."

Torvin agrees for the investigation

Mr. Greenleaf - Sizing up the house trying to find a suitable window "Should we search the outside before we go in? Maybe there's a window or something we can see through."
