The Abbot nods and seems to take both of your words to heart. However with so much going on he decides to focus on the now and worry about Shalvus later. You all make your way back to the to see Miros grinning at Torsus, as if he just heard something he found mildly amusing before nodding in agreement. Upon your arrival he offers the same food and drink before you take your rest. (If everyone could please post if they are ready to move on to the next day or if not continue with whatever you'd like to do. Claire is gone for the weekend and I know Cherri has things going on so I'll assume they are going to get rest)
Aeyd had been lost in thought for a good portion of the rest of the day. They were silent during their meeting with the abbot, letting the others speak and say what needed to be said, nodding along to thing she agreed to, especially when it came to keeping their eyes on Shalvus. She wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but there was just... somethings that didn't rub her the right way with him. She would have offered her services further, but admits that it wouldn't be for the best as he already finds her rather suspicious already.
With the promise of rest after their long day, the monk quickly retreats to their room (after a nice hot meal), and meditates.
(Cherri indeed has some things going on, but I'm hoping after this upcoming Wednesday my stress levels will have reduced to give more than just a few sentence postings. Thank you so much for your patience guys <3)

Narz is good to move on for the most part. He would first speak with Mirros about acquiring a separate suite after the others had gone inside. But if that's not possible, he would adjust and settle for some lesser night time protections about his corner of the room.

A seperate room for Narz is prepared at no extra cost though it lacks some of the comforts of the room you had already been staying in, namely smelling of horses due to its proximity to the stables. However you all find sleep soon enough, the pains of battle only serving to strengthen your abilities overnight. (Everyone may lvl up)
Morning comes and you all have breakfast at your own time and pace. Outside you can hear a downpour, peeking you head out confirmation that it's raining hard and if you look towards the wall you can see just beyond the walls boarders its snowing heavily. Inside the inn Dakkurz sits with a group of her mercs, cursing to herself as she looks out the window. Dammit, we'll never track down that traitor in this, You over hear her say. In the room are most of the companions from last nights fight, most of whom look like they have something to ask you but are waiting for the correct time to do so, as well as some of the farmers looking to get out of the rain.

Although it would be later in the morning then what the wizard would prefer, there were few shortcuts to preparing for the day that even the hobgoblin could accept off the cuff. So it is he arrived to breakfast prim and proper as always, as well as looking ready to tackle whatever challenge the day had for them. The dismissal sight of harsh rain and... snowing heavily? It took a few seconds of peeking out before what was going on truly began to dawn on him.
"Druids..." He muttered, sounding a bit half amused at the state of things. Of course as soon as he glanced over to Dakkurz and considered predicament, the half-smile turned solemn in the closest thing most hobgoblins have to a 'sympathetic look'. More than that, Narz intended to put off seeing to the locals, and instead find a seat near the others, or make sure a set was open by the time the others came downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning, eh? At least for the crops, for sure. Speaking of crops, if albeit in a very adjacent manner, I was doing a bit of researching this morning, and discovered a spell formula that I had not quite completed in some time. But with a little studying this morning, I've figured out the right sequence that would allow me to peer into the mind of those giants, and extract the necessary information regarding the exact whereabouts of their home without having to deal with their particular mental limitations." He explained once all were gathered. "After which, we should be able to better access whether it would be even recommended that we seek out this stronghold, or turn our attention elsewhere to acquire at least better means to combat their ilk in the future."
Torsus had asked to have his breakfast brought to him, and by all reports the tortle seemed rattled but had still ordered large portions. And had come out more than half an hour later than Narz. Torsus didn't seem like he had slept well the night before. His eyes were sunken in, and dark. His lips pulled into a 'set frown' and his movements sluggish. Arms draped to his sides. It was as if the Tortle had lived through a nightmare the night before - hardly noticing the others initially. He seemed deadset on the door. If Narz had began his magical ramblings at that point, Torsus either outright seemed to ignore it or was .. for lack of a better word, in a trance. Pushing for the door until he was outside it. Walking out from under the awning or other cover.
Heading down the steps if any to the road - standing in the downpour, his arms spread out, and his eyes closing as the water falls upon his body, heavily. His inner skin filling like a rain basin until it overflowed. And there he would stay in silence (unless bothered or otherwise interrupted from this seeming reverie) sighing heavily regardless as the fresh water soaks him thoroughly. Shivering, but not of cold, but euphoria.
If unmolested, he would eventually return to the door atleast though outside it to allow himself to 'soak off' but if interrupted, he would remain in the raid to respond.
Rollo, in contrast, looks as though yesterday was a simple and relaxing day. He's heartily digging into the plate before him with one hand while reading a small tome marked with the symbol of Tyr. Although Aeyd had preferred to do her morning yoga outside, it seemed as if the weather was strictly against that idea, so instead the monk stays within the safety of her room to do her morning routine. After finding her new strengthened center and balance, she joins the others downstairs for a much needed breakfast.
At Narz's good morning, she returns it with a respectful nod of the head as she eats her meal slowly, intently listening to what he had moved onto say regarding his research. Her brows raise in interest as he explains of what the spell could do. She dabs the corner of her mouth with a napkin before opening her mouth to speak herself, however she stops when she sees Torsus emerge and slowly trudge to the door. Dark brown hues follow the tortle up until he exits the vicinity, glancing back over to Narz.
"... Do tortle's need to... ah... rehydrate when they've been out of the water for long?"She truly didn't know much about Torsus' kind. Maybe this was his way of hydration? She shakes her head. "Erm... Anyways... Your spell. That's fantastic. If we could extract that information and avoid their...mental limitations, that would be very beneficial. While Aeyd and Narz discuss things amongst themselves, Claire approaches Dakkurz. Inviting Claire to sit and passing a plate of bacon her way Dakkurz leans forward with interest. Now that sounds interesting. How much would your services cost me? Because I'd be very interested in hiring you to help track down the bastard, though I think its best we wait for the weather to clear. I doubt he'll get far in this. I'll try to track him as far as possible before turning to your spell to maximize our chances of course.
Torsus continued communing with the rain, it had been an unexpected surprise for the currently disturbed being. His power came at a cost, and while he could use things to his benefit such as gaining power from one to spite the other, the events that transpired always left him drained, and he suffered for it either way. But he had to put down his blockades sometimes or else he would never grow... and perhaps he would lose what he had gained if he denied too long. But the rain was calm, the rain was cool, and the rain was wet. Though it wouldn't cure everything, he felt like he was showering off the muck that only he could see. It cleansed him, and the fact that it was happening now .. right after... felt like a divine gift.
He let the shower continue for several minutes before feeling 'good enough' to give it up. His species was aquatic, so even without his particular 'night time' issues, this was a pleasant thing. Summoning two mage hands he made his way to the first portion of the place that was wooded, and had them go to work on removing any 'mud' from his feet, as close to the 'road' as possible, before shaking himself of most of the moisture, and pouring out the 'raincatcher' water within his neck-flesh until he felt he would be 'dry enough' to not catch Miros' ire, but wet enough to enjoy it as he soaked the last dewdrops in.
Pushing in through the door, his mage hands vanishing, he waits to see what is going on before saying or doing anything.
Claire folds her arms and smiles smugly. "Yes... I think we've got a good chance with our skills combined! Hmm. For a spell of that level as well as the necessary proxmimity to the action... I'd say 230 gold. 30 up front, 200 when we successfully locate him. I'll help with the applreension as well."

Before Torsus' return inside, Narz had spent at least a half a minute looking at the table with the most pensive and frustrated look on his face since Aeyd first met the hobgoblin. Which while not saying much, may say enough considering the bit of a mostly laidback air about him normally. If not in his actions, then at least in his words. In time he lets out a long, tired sigh before steepling his fingers and resting his elbows on the table. Without over to her at first, Narz finally answers.
"I have as much as I need to cast the spell, so no need to worry there. As for our Tortle.... As for The Tortle. While I do not deny the possibility of their being some loose biological need or reaction to such conditions, that would then trigger his current, uh, response. However, after last night I have reason to believe their being more at play." He then took a moment take a sip of his water before continuing. "Now, I cannot claim to know the full details, as that would be very arrogant on my part, eh? But from I have put together so far is that Torsus is bound or connected to... something else. Some dark entity, he neglected to mention. This would explain some of what he mentioned though." Narz expression then turns more serious as he looks between Aeyd and Rollo. "I would caution you two to limit being alone with him for overly long." Hearing another reenter, and seeing Torsus out of the corner of his eyes, Narz then looked back to the others. "Say nothing to him of this as well, if you two would."
