Aeyd finds the tortle's plan to be genius! If they couldn't bring them out in the sun, then they would simply bring the sun to them! She looks expectantly towards Claire in allowing Torsus the chance to hold/get a better look at her holy symbol, only to bring her attention to Narz when he asks if they had any protections against the vampyre. She only frowns and shakes her head in response.
Once they seemed to want to get this plan into motion, Aeyd follows behind, eyes and ears peeled.

As you all burst in with the illusion several patrons reel back with a start from the sudden light. However Spaz and Aeyd notice one patron in particular, a pale looking young man in the corner of the room, react far more, feral. The man seems to quickly realize this is illusion however and, not appear to be harmed by it, regains his composure along with the rest of the room. The bartender steps out from behind the bar, What in the nine hells is this about? Keep the magic outside dammit! Dakkurz sits at the bar shielding her eyes looking at you all like you've gone completely mad.
Aeyd, the man in the corner who reacted strongly to the sight of the illusionary sun sticks out in your mind. You think you remember Rollo pointing him out the night prior to his turning.
Torsus pipes up almost immediately, the brightness of the illusion nearly matching the sun, and while it wouldn't permanently blind it would likely leave white-glare floating in the eyes of those looking too directly at it. Pardon the sudden intrusion - However, understand the necessity. We are hunting a most dangerous animal, and without such surprise.... If you are not the one we are hunting, I'd suggest you turn round, cover your eyes, or assist us once you realize what we are doing. Has anyone spotted our quarry? the illusion was moved to be above most of the parties heads so as to not blind them as well.
Spaz silently communicates to Narz; who in turn only just keeps from looking in the man's direction. Easy enough with the bartender commanding attention with pointed questions. But while the hobgoblin had been slow to come up with an answer, Torsus plainly beat him to the punch, drawing some ire no doubt their way. Words are at that point would be abandoned barring the ones necessary to teleport to focus his magic, and leave his eyes glowing bright purplish hue as Narz sought to lash(DC 14 for half of 6 Psycic Damage) at the pale young man's mind. Only THEN would he bark out a "That one", slipping a flask into his hand and gesturing to the man with it.
If there'd been time at that point yet to do so, he adds in [goblin] while side-eying Dakkurz, "A corrupter has undermine one of my own. Stay and fight for an early bonus, or retreat. I leave that to you. Decide Quickly."
(To Urben: In goblin, 'corrupter' is an often used short term among the kin for any creature capable of controlling a gob against their will through usually magical means, and with usually standing Kill-On-Sight orders.)

The innkeeper looks angry enough to burst a blood vessel and several of the patrons here look at you all with clear hostility, some placing their hands on their weapons ready for a fight. Narz calls out the Vampire in the corner as Arik shrugs off the mental attack sent his way. Dakkurz looks intently at Narz and then around the room before downing her drink. She places a hand on her sword ready to draw and gives Narz a nod.
The Vampire stands and smiles, before looking to the innkeeper. Nalaskur, I do apologize for this. It seems my late night activities have drawn some, unwanted attention.
The innkeeper sighs and draws a dagger. Well, that's a pain in the ass, but deals a deal. Let's just end this quick and clean the mess before the dinner rush. As he finishes several patrons stand and draw steel including Dakkurz who looks at Nalaskur with fury in her eyes. Whats the meaning of this Nal? The innkeeper raises a hand to hold off his men before turning to Dakkurz. Sorry Dak, just buisness. Best you stay out of this. As for you three, I'll give you one chance to back down. We're the forgiving type see, so you walk right in out that door and don't stop walking till you're so far outta town you can't see the walls. The thought crosses your minds that witnesses to the vampire may be silenced, that if you leave its likely some of these folk may be killed or likewise run out of town. In the corner by the fireplace Shalvus sneaks away out a back door clearly not wanting to get involved.
Claire’s face shifts as her apprehension at fighting the vampire is overtaken by disgust and anger. “They knew. They all knew.” She clenches her teeth and speaks quietly to herself. “How many people...?” The cleric starts to lifts her her holy symbol and her lips part to recite a spell.

Narz and Aeyd are both struck while Torsus and Claire both shurg off the bolts which are unable to punch through their armor, natural or otherwise.
Torsus begins his count and mist of the party, in on the plan, knows to close their eyes shortly, however Aeyd has a chance to attack should she choose.

Aeyed catches the bolt and tosses it at the barkeep, striking him in the shoulder. He curses but before he can react Aeyd is in him, her fists aglow with burning fire. Her first hit strikes him square in the chest, break several ribs and catching his clothes on fire leaving a hole in the cloth were he was struck. The second hit hits him in the jaw so hard his neck simply snaps. The barkeep falls to the ground, snuffing out the flames on his clothes in the process.
Not quite finished however Aeyd turns her rage on the thug behind her, rushing him and landing another two blows (as discussed in discord and no stunning strike used.)
To Torsus, Aeyd was a blur, but he was glad she had found the resolve she seemed to lack earlier. Torsus wasn't so much disgusted by the discovery so much as he wasn't surprised. Through his journeys he had learned that beings of all races were both capable, and somehow more than willing to do things he would have once considered heinous, only to now expect more-or-less to be a possibility from everyone. For all he knew the old lady was going to kill him in his sleep and make tortle soup. Regardless... His illusion vanished with a final flash as his wand was raised high, pointing at a very specific location within the room.. considering his next spell was going to be quite square shaped. Torsus .. just in case, mentally sending out a 'close your eyes now' for those who perhaps had miscounted....

Torsus casts Hypnotic Pattern centered on the 0 in discord, which should hit everyone north of the Orange "I"
Thugs 1 and 2 along with most of the innocent pub goers go wide eyes for a moment before entering a catatonic like state. Arik however seems unphased by the illusion and simply smirks before rushing over towards the fight. (Moving to the other side of the stool above 3, legendary action)
Dakkurz draws her weapon and walks along the bar until she reaches Thug six. Once in range she grabs her sword with both hands and hits the thug with two nasty slashes at the chest. The thug manages to duck under her last attack and sweep his legs to trip the hob leaving her prone on the ground.
While Dakkurz is busy fight Arik is continuing to close ground, easily climbing over table and chairs with east to close the distance on Narz before ending at R9. The Vampire grabs Narz and forces his head back to expose his neck. With a loud hiss he plunges his fangs into Narz's neck to start draining him of blood.
Thug 3 sees his allies in a stupor and runs over to 2 and shakes him violently, waking breaking him out of the hypnosis. While 2 is recovering Arik sucks more blood from Narz, or at least tries to but Narz manages to pull the Vampire off him. Now fully away 2 moves towards 1 and shakes the man awake. Arik takes this opportunity to retreat back 30ft (LA move no AAO). Once awake 1 takes the vampires place and swings at Narz with his mace. Luckily the thug still seems sluggish and missed the wizard. (Rolls above aren't accurate. Idk why but they changed for the very last attack. Everything in text is accurate to the rolls that were originally rolled. Oh yes. 8 radiant to thug 1 who failed his wis save against spirit guardians.)

(Mentioned this in discord, but adding to thread for I guess everyone else benefit, Narz is casting Shield with his reaction against the crossbow that would've hit him earlier.)
Narz snarled out a command and waved his hand. In an instance grey glyphs of power spring into existence about him, shattering the bolt the moment it makes contact with the shimmering array.
....Or that's what would've happened if his player hadn't apparently forgotten to grab that in character creation... *sigh*... -__-

Instead, Narz recoiled as a bolt sinks into his shoulder, and is blinded by pain. The cat at his feet and somewhere far away, o too does a raven far away fade away into mist after; their master's focus on the tether binding them to the plane fraying and falling away.

(Mentioned this in discord, but adding to thread for I guess everyone else benefit, Narz is casting Shield with his reaction against the crossbow that would've hit him earlier.)Narz snarled out a command and waved his hand. In an instance grey glyphs of power spring into existence about him, shattering the bolt the moment it makes contact with the shimmering array.
....Or that's what would've happened if his player hadn't apparently forgotten to grab that in character creation... *sigh*... -__-
Concentration Save: 13.
Instead, Narz recoiled as a bolt sinks into his shoulder, and is blinded by pain. The cat at his feet and somewhere far away, o too does a raven far away fade away into mist after; their master's focus on the tether binding them to the plane fraying and falling away.
