Artys has an easy time tracking the giants, thankfully their steps leave deep marks in the ground which makes it almost child's play for the knight. He leads you south for about half a days travel, off the path and intonthe nearby hills before before the tracks seem to split. Artys can see a clear path where several giants continued south through the hills while another set of giant tracks seem to head south east.
Torsus had less need of the many wards that Narz placed for protection, not that any of the others knew, but should anything with hostile intentions that even generally looked his direction would set off his dart, which would then warn and wake him. A necessary thing for a man who was borderline paranoid of any intrusion to his mind, or threat to himself otherwise. Once breakfast was dealt with in whatever fashion and the party had gotten on their way. Ary's seemed more ranger than knight in that moment, aided apparently by the fact that giants are also a subspecies of Jurassic Parks T-rexes.
Upon hearing that they went south, as well as southeast, Torsus takes a moment to think before saying I believe we should pursue the ones going south east. While I could be wrong.... logically, the ones heading south are likely travelling farther away, and those heading southeast are likely heading to a ... for lack of better phrases 'base' or 'home' - so I propose we detour to them first, before proceeding to the southern-most ones
(Just a clarification, the one heading south east is a single set of tracks. Gonna be busy today so I'll post a follow up of you guys heading south east tomorrow or late tonight if there's no change to the current plan)
"Well either way, going for a lone giant would be a bit easier on us, if nothing else. So either way it'd be the better call, eh? May our fortunes continue to hold in that this loner not planning to draw in more in the area thinking it to be better pickings for his ilk. Lug head though Ogres tend to be, even then tend to rub enough thoughts together to figure greater numbers can prove a benefit in some ways." At that, Narz recalls most of his birds to focus on the path the group were to follow and narrow their web of alert to any interest or dangers up ahead for them.

(Sorry, as explained in a discord chat I'd gone to ER Sunday, follow ups on Monday and back to work after a week long vacation yesterday and today. So just getting readjusted. Can I get another survival check from whoever would like, roll advantage for assumed help.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Sir Artys continues to lead the way through the hills, following the lone giants tracks with relative ease. As you look over the valley you spot a crumbling tower atop a hill less than a quarter mile away. Parts of its conical roof and outer shell have fallen inward, leaving a gaping hole above which four hawks circle. From what Artys can tell the tracks lead right towards it.
As Artys points out the tower, Narz cannot help but grimace at it, remembering the rumors about its inhabitant. Under his breath he even muttered to himself. "Make sense... They would need to come out to at least eat eventually." He then sighed softly and spent maybe minute more combing his well trimmed beard in thought, before finally standing ramrod straight up and addressing the group.
"A moment if you would everyone, 'fore we commit to the engagement. Which in itself maybe short lived should we manage to collapse that tower on our giant's head, eh?" He cracks the faintest grin at that but quickly carries on. "I'll send my hawks in above to confirm its even there. But after which, and I say this with some discomfort, but should we try and parlay to learn of the other band before sorting the creature out?" He asks while mentally bidding his own hawks to fly ahead high above, but give the hawks already circling above a wide berth just in case.

The hawk flies over the tower and without getting too close can easily see a large boulder blocking the tower’s ground-floor entrance, and can hear a horrible noise comes from within — a deep, guttural, dirge pouring from the lips of something big and awful. Unfortunately without going in through the hole in the rood it can't quite see what is actually inside.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Narz relays the news with a bit of a grimace and pondering recalling his scout from ear shot of the noise. Ultimately deciding not to, he turns the hawk's attention on those naturally flying about the roof, and sought to try and discern their ilk before risking the scouts in a closer look. For as far as he can register, the others still needed time to think on his question and the latest news so far.
Torsus grunts a bit, but doesn't take too long to ponder. I'd say that depends on what we find. If it seems as dumb as some of these giants, we should simply kill it as it will likely 'Me no know!' or something to that effect. If it seems more intelligent... then we should see what we can learn. Let us know what you see as well. Though I harbor doubts that this will be more than a quickly dealt with problem. Though unlikely as it is, keep an eye out for a druid. Something in my gut.. which could be wrong says it's worth a passing glance.
The bird lands near the broken window where it gets a better.view of the interior. On the 2nd floor of the tower sits a female hill giant, crying and singing loudly to herself in incomprehensible speech. Her legs dangle through holes in the floor to the 1st floor of the tower.
"Ah geeze. It seems we found ourselves a hill giantess crying and singing to herself." Narz explains. "Not exactly the hallmark of a leader. So, fair odds it is, or it would be to say her joining those Ogres was more an opportune thing than anything. Doesn't mean she won't be a problem so long as she's in the area mind you, but..."
Narz grimaces and shakes his head. "Anyhow, she's on the 2nd floor, which itself has a great big hole connecting it to the 1st level. I find myself morbidly curious on the whole crying bit, we'd need a way to get her attention for that now wouldn't we, eh? That is, one that isn't as hostile as destroying the tower."
And we are back! Seems we left off with Narz looking for ideas on how to deal with the Hill giantess in the tower. So at this point if anyone has any ideas to offer now would be the time to post them otherwise Narz can just take the lead when he's ready.
Torsus seems somewhat disappointed at the news, and only mildly curious as to her reasons. Afterall, who cares about the feelings of a giant or similar, when they're as likely to turn one into turtle soup and eat them in front of their own family? Well, a tower itself is a source of stones to throw.. he says, rubbing his only recently-sealed shell. And I lack the capacity for large explosions. I am no mage - but a Magi, or warlock if you prefer. THough it would be hilarious to see if I could put fear into stone hrm? I'd rather not use one of my stronger spells outside of a fight, but should you feel it nessecary, i could cast an illusion centered on you to give you the appearance of a smaller creature of similar species. Or perhaps we could just stroll in and ask.
Alternatively, we could simply collapse the tower upon her and leave her to her fate, now that we know she is not exactly our quarry.
Artys looks at the tower. "I guess it just comes down to the question of are we slaying the giants just to slay them or because they're doing something wrong. If it's the later then we should probably see about having a chat before we do anything else."

Artys seems a bit confused by the mention of a druid while on a giant hunt but lets it be, bowing to the tortles proven instincts.
