The ranger only gives Angar a small nod when he assures her all is well, but she still couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that made home in the pit of her abdomen. She watches silently as Zack tells Angar to bind himself with the manacles, wondering if this was going to far, yet... His anger is justified... This could have been avoided if I only... She finally manages to swallow at the thought again. Nadia has no issues with taking Yorick for the time being, and she listens to the man when he advises her to face the skull away from her. Her grip on the staff only tightens when she's told to follow, but she complies with nothing more than an 'okay.'
Nadia had been gnawing at her bottom lip the whole trip back to the inn, occasionally glancing over to Angar and Zack (though, mainly his back, as she purposefully lagged behind him), trying to gauge their how they felt, but soon would give up because of how much she thought into it. She stood off to the side as the fighter spoke to Godrick, the elf simply listening to the two converse briefly about what was going on, and she could only hope that maybe Godrick would be able to help further convince Zack that Angar had no ill intentions.
Her heart leaped to her throat when he turns and looks at her. Had she gripped any harder around Yorick, she was sure that eventually she would splinter him due to Zack's gaze alone. No matter how soft it was, she still felt anger surrounding his aura, and she was sure he was trying to mask his disappointment in her. Her ears were burning when his words reached them, and that sickening feeling of throwing up passed again. The trust that she worked on building with him cracked all because she didn't take a minute from flirting to tell him anything about Angar, and now she was paying for it.
"I..." She paused to take a breath and gather her thoughts better. "You had every right to snap at me... I'm sor--" Mentally, she chided herself, and continued on. "I wasn't thinking. I should have told you when we left the inn, or anytime during today, actually, hah. I'll... do better... a-and... we shouldn't bring Nadaar into this... Now, anyways. He's... probably going on a date tonight, and the relationship between you two isn't the greatest as of late. This'll only strain it further." She sucks in a breath, wondering briefly if she should have mentioned that at all, but what was said was said, and she simply accepted whatever was going to happen after it. The elf chooses to ignore the answer on the bath.
Zack nodded at Godrick flatly and said Thank you Godrick. And please, whatever you do, keep my existence quiet. Or somehting bad might happen to the town. I already told my pops. So don't make a big huzzah about it. Please. It would be better for everyone that way. Treat me as if I'm still dead. His expression remained almost entirely neutral, as if he was processing a whole lot of information all at once. He seemed to almost sigh every other breath or so, or at-least a larger breath than normal. He was still tense more or less. His movements were stiff.
Looking at Nadia when she began to respond, he straightened a bit. Maybe I did, and maybe I didn't have the right to do anything Nadia. I find it hard to wrap my head around the possibility that you'd do this on purpose, all things considered, now that I've had time to think while we walked. He shifted on his feet to maintain comfort while standing as she began to explain about not bringing Nadaar into it... and what he was likely up to. That caused him to shrink just a bit as he closed his eyes. I'm aware things have been strained. I've .. given up on trying to be friendly. But I won't be oppositional either. He simply won't even extend the olive branch of doubt so.. I'll treat him as I need to now. As for his apaprent date... at this point, he looked stung, considering he may have just lost his chance with his childhood sweetheart and he had a pretty good guess that wasn't all that was lost...Well I'm sure he's been very busy today. And will probably be again if he's taking another round.... He had had no intention of letting Godrick know but.. the cat was more or less already out of the bag.... he took i na deep breath, thinking to himself... Lost my best friend for the second time this week... Lost my mother yesterday.... Lost Sarah..today... probablyin more ways then... his inner thoughts flashing a little on hsi face as it twitched softly in his brooding.
Or rather.. after seeing those eyes she made at the dragonman... I "let" her go.He visibly shrunk farther. His arms slinking down. Everyone seems to trust this guy for as far as I can tell "On his word".. sure there was a plague but how do I know he's not just grifting....
If he can stay like that until morning I might be willing to give him some benefit of the doubt. was all he could say. His lips were turned down in a stoic frown as he finally turned towards the front, since there was no point in playing hide and seek anymore. Nadia. You can do whatever you want. But you doneed a bath one way or another, just like me. I'm goign to take mine now. Join me or don't. But it'll be a lot harder to clear things up with one of the choices.
And Godrick... bring me up the strongest Alcohol you have... when you can. I don't know what it costs, just bring me the change... I'll trust you not to scalp me. tossing his entire coinpouch on a nearby surface.
With that, he'd head out the front, and without even looking, he'd simple two finger wave in Nadaars direction if he saw him, not saying a thing. As he made his way upstairs, his expression was brooding, his mouth still in that same small frown. His eyes were almost level but at a downward angle. And if spoken to by anyone, other than Nadia, he would ignore it and press on to the room where the bath was supposed to be. Since he used to come here often, he knew where al lthe inn rooms were so there was only a few places the tub room could be.
Disrobing without any degree of fanfare. Not that he had much to remove, and kicking the pants lightly into a corner of the room before unceremoniously climbing into the tub, arms draping over the edges if it were comfortably possible. and sinking till his chin touched the water.
Godrick catches the coin purse with a bit of shock.Date? Wait. Wha-Dont tell anyone? But Zack- what might happen to the tow- hey. Not being able to get a word in he looks to Nadia comfused. What in the nine hells is going on? Zack shows up alive...but well this isn't the Zack I remember at all. Regardless of whether or not he gets a response he finally just looks over to Angar still with a confused look on his face before going inside to fetch a bottle.of liquor for Zack.
Nadaar, shortly after Zack brushes past you without a word Godrick comes in frowning and clearly confused. He starts digging around from a bottle of some sort and takes a gold coin out of Zacks coin pouch all the while mumbling to himself.
Zack, as you head up on the second floor you walk by Sarah. She attempts to greet you but as you ignore her she yells out What the hell Zack what's wrong!? getting no response she simply stands there with an angry look on her face. Assuming Nadia follows, or if not Sarah seeks her out, Sarah pulls her off to the side quickly and asks What the hell has gotten into him?
Nadaar stared balefully down at his bed; atop of which rested the chain shirt, a gift, and one he cherished... in spite of some of the constriction. It had already been five or maybe ten minutes since his short conversation with Godrick about the tour. Confident of there being little chance of things falling through in the interim, he had gone up to his room to prepare for the evening. Rillex, with an equally thoughtful expression, sat on his sounder, staring down at the piece of equipment before finally meowing. ".. Hn... That is a good point, Sir Rillex. One can never be too careful in unfamiliar territory." Although he couldn't see it, he felt Rillex nod sagely beside him. "Plus, she did show a certain... fascination? Properiety? Hm... a liking, I suppose, towards stripping things off the form."
Present...
On that note, Nadaar takes his leave some few minutes later, a soft smile on his snout, and Rillex padding behind him. Whereas there should've been an underlying tension seeing Zack, if albeit due to the conversation before, he just politely nodded in passing, remembering the bath request and so forth. There is a moment after that he furrowed his brow ridges and wondered at the lack of Nadia's presence. A moment instantly shattered by the shout. Confused, he would glance back at Zack, and seeing nothing physically wrong, moved with a bit more pep to his steps down the stairs to the scene below.
Ignoring or blind to Angar's state in his hurry, Nadaar ask politely, "Do forgive my intrusion on what is clearly a one to one conversation, but... you seem distressed, Lady Sarah. Might I inquire why? I heard something about Zack, but he did not appear to injured, if this is what that is about." On that last point, he looks to Nadia for confirmation. Although if Sarah's grip(assuming she caught hold) of Nadia warranted a raised brow ridge, the Dragonborn merely gestured to it with his eyes, as to emphasize a wish for explanatin.

Nadia felt the nonexistent knife dig deeper into her gut when she finally gathered enough courage to look up at Zack again, her gaze automatically returning back to the ground as she began to regret that decision entirely. She had grown so used to his normal friendly expressions, even the more serious and focused ones, but anguish didn't suit him at all, and she saw herself as the cause of it. When he turns, she looks up, her lips only thinning at his words, only to hesitate following after him because she knew he was right. A few seconds pass before she forces herself to move...
Only to be stopped soon after by Sarah questioning her about what happened... then Nadaar joining as well. With a deep breath, she begins, her tone distant. "I'll... I'll make this relatively brief and Nadaar can fill you in on the details. Zack isn't injured, physically, but... Angar paid a visit to Zack's home, asking his father for permission to dig up his mothers grave to see if there was a body there because of..." She gestures to Nadaar, a way to say 'he'll explain it later' before continuing on. "Obviously, they declined... Zack got... really, really mad, because of that and because I didn't mention anything about this to him all day... Didn't think he'd actually do it, and tonight... of all ******* times... was gonna fill him in tomorrow..." The last two bits were mumbled, the elf clearly frustrated, but she shakes her head and looks back to the two apologetically. "I'm sorry for the way he's acting. Had I said something sooner, he'd... probably not be as annoyed, but, hah... Can't change the past."
She took a minute to consider telling Sarah to draw her bath tomorrow, as, one, she was mentally and emotionally exhausted from all this, and two, she wanted to curl up in bed and cry, but then she remembered what Zack said. It'll be a lot harder to clear things up with one of the choices... Then her mother... Niñita, necesitas arreglar tus errores. No puedes huir de ellos todo el tiempo. Tenga confianza, y si las cosas no funcionan, se sentirá mejor de haberlo intentado. Nadia sighs, hating how right they were, and speaks again. "I'm... gonna try to patch things up. Where was the bath again?" When she receives an answer, she nods. "Thank you... Please... enjoy your date. Sorry, again, for all of this."
Once they were finished, Nadia drags her feet as she makes her way to the stairs, climbing up them with no enthusiasm. "This wasn't how tonight was supposed to go... Couldn't you have stopped him from coming over? Could have asked in the morning..." She mutters to Yorick. "Now here I am, covered in blood, sweat, animal shit, feeling depressed, talking to a perverted skull on a stick who can't even talk to me back... Wow, I've reached the peak." Had she not been feeling like literal human garbage she would have laughed, but there was no joy that could be brought forth from how she was feeling now.
When she reaches the top of the stairs, she's hesitant in heading towards the bath room, but she kept telling herself it needed to be done. You stink, this needs to be sorted out. Just go, do your best, and if you make it worse, you can leave and go back to Julkoun. The thought itself was extreme, and she was sure she didn't have the gall to go about and do that to them, but... the option was there had she been pushed to that point. Upon reaching the door finally, and with a breath, she knocks on the door. "... Can I come in?"
(Assuming Zack says yes) She shuffles her way inside, her gaze still on the floor as she clicks the door shut behind her. Silently, she moves to the corner of the room and leans Yorick against the wall, facing the wall (the little pervert), and begins to undress. For extra precaution, she wraps her shirt around the skull before removing everything else from her person and putting it on the floor beside him, not bothering with any fanfare as she doesn't anticipate to do anything more than talk. She undoes her hair from it's braid to allow it to fall down her back before turning to the tub. There was hesitation in her step, but she pushes forward and cautiously joins the fighter in the water, using her small frame to fit in the space available to her before sinking into the water as well.
Nadia decided it would be best that she be the first to speak, and with a lot of mustered up courage she's able to do so. "I know you said to stop apologizing... But... I really am sorry. I didn't.. purposefully withhold that information from you, I was just... caught up with the flirting we were doing... And we were planning on filling you in tomorrow, so I just... I didn't think anything of it when I should have. It's my fault, I'm owning up to that, so I'm hoping you don't blame anyone else other than me." She stops herself from rambling on, and bites the inside of her cheek as she waits for a response from the fighter, bracing herself for the worst if need be.
(If he says no, then he can go **** himself she heads back to her room.)
Sarah looks a bit taken aback at hearing Angar wanted to dig up Zacks mothere grave. She stands there in silence and doesn't say anything until Nadia leaves, simply pointing the way to the bath. Finally Sarah turns to Nadaar and asks Why the hell would this guy be wanting to dig up a grave? What is happening?
Zack's only response when Sarah had greeted him was on of as if i didn't have a good guess as to what went on earlier. And normally Zack wasn't one to dwell on such things.
The water was just past luke-warm when he entered. But he didn't blame Godrick, he probably came in at an inopportune time. He had been soaking there, eyes closed, arms still draped over the edge, mostly to keep himself from needing to not slip under. He was starting to get a headache between everything. Though for now, it was only a minor annoyance. He needed time to process things. Because it seemed like every other day, some new gut-punch readied itself to knock the wind out of him. He remembered losing his C.O. and best friend due to whatever circumstances had led up to that.. and he was starting to not be sure if he was forgetting things he already remembered, or vice versa.. or perhaps even both.
The pain flares that came with first learning of his new powers...Then there was that slight positivity of successful negotiations... followed by finding out his mother had been dead for a while, and that it had all happened suddenly, which he hated to admit, lent some credence to that mans story. But his father was still alive... and then.. Sarah had moved on, which while not a surprise was as much consolation as someone tearing off a bandaid after the would had healed... it still pulled the skin and hair in a painful way. And while it wasn't for certain... Sarah had probably slept with Nadaar whom had started to become a thorn in his side, even if not by intent. And the fact that Nadia had mentioned it being a 'date' didn't exactly make him think he was wrong. If he didn't earlier, he will now.
Then this man, who knew about that plague that he had heard sparse information about, was here. Wanting to dig up his deceased mother only a day after he found out.. Nadia not s-
Knocking....
His eyes bolted open, a moment before she began to speak. He wanted to be short with her, but he kept it in check. Come in. he said, forcing more power out of it than he 'felt' like putting into it so it would be heard. When she entered, he only moved his eyes to look. Some of the glowing luster seemed dimmer but it also seemed it wasn't able to dim beyond a certain point. She would likely also notice that fanfare or not, he didn't look in her direction as she disrobed either. His eyes remaining locked on the water in front of him, much as he had been when he was walking down the hall. The water finally reaching its zenith of warmth.
She entered the bath then, and it was clear, he hadn't even started any form of bathing... currently just soaking. Though he did have the soap in hand. When she slinked in, he shifted his feet to the sides, splaying himself to give her room in the middle. Even as her body fell into it, his eyes never looked at her figure. And finally, when she was a 'head above' the water, he would look up. And given the dim lighting, little if anything would likely be visible beneath the surface after an inch or so. His eyes met, rather than locked with hers when she began to speak - he managed a sigh, but it wasn't an interuptory one.. so much as it was an 'Ok here goes.'
His muscles seemed loose, but not out of relaxation, as opposed to simply 'not feeling' like doing whatever was needed with them. I more or less knew that already. As I said below, I can't find a logical reason for you to do it out of spite or wrath or ... whatever considering everything. And unless you knew he was going to try to dig her up, I can't see how it's your fault in any other degree either. And he seems to have done it all without your knowledge. I was just caught up in the shock his tone held a light spark, but was still that of someone with a great, metaphorical weight on their mind.
And then Godrick..... he acts like digging up corpses is the most natural thing.A larger spark. Why don't I go dig up his wife or mother and see how he feels about that. he went quiet for a few long moments. Just breathing in the water. his eyes darting passively around as his thoughts continue to coalesce in his mind. And knowing dragonboy... He's probably on board with it like I'm just supposed to accept it. And if Godrick is 'ok' with it then Sarah probably is too. Speaking of I saw the eyes she was giving him.... when I first walked in.... And as much as I expected ..it.. to be that way..... But .. atleast it did take off some of the guilt for having started to move on myself. But if she's giving those looks...... at him... then it's probably not the first time... So maybe she deserves Nadaar... it was clearly meant in a 'with the way he acts towards me..' sort of way, his pitch rising and falling, and more of the life flooded back into it, even if it was still tinted with frustration.
He was clearly in somewhat of a spiral, but it was also clear it could be much worse. Perhaps that few minutes of delay before she came up was exactly what he needed. Some time in his own head.... his eye twitched for a moment as he closed his eyes, an actual growl escaping before he finally threw the soap in his hand at the wall, hard. Damnit all! he said just shy of being a shout, before he sat up, pulled up by his arms, tensed there for several moments, before finally sighing, loud, and hard and sinking back down... His hands were shaking, ever so slightly. However, he didn't seem on the verge of tears... just a bundle of nerves.
Zacks eyes finally open, and look directly at Nadia, but this time, they were softer than downy sheets after a dry. He held that look for a moment before saying You have nothing to apologize for .. dulche corabone. unintentionally gettign the words wrong. Between everything, I'm just stressed, Nadaar refuses to be.. well... yeah. And you just happened to make a mistake. his voice was soft, but sincere. It seemed he had vented what he needed to vent for now. So between all of that, and the timing ofearlier today.. it all just kinda hit me at once. It's like Tymora is looking down to see just how much bad luck I can take at once.
He swallowed hard then, but pushed forward. Putting his hands in a triangle shape as he leaned forward, pressing the bottom edges of his palm against the waters surface, his head following suit. That single bang, dipping deep into the water. as he said So, I'm sorry Nadia, for dissappointing you, and your view of me. You didn't deserve that lash. Can you forgive this dumb, young hero-wannabe for his ..... he was clearly having trouble thinking of the word, and after almost a full minute, he snapped in the 'ah! that!' fashion, before finishing with Indescretions?
Let none claim that Nadaar wasn't wholly one to refuse listening to others, for he stood there with open ears for Nadia's sake. Sometimes a raised brow ridge or narrowing of the eyes entered the equation. But he listened, more confused or solemn than judging or annoyed upon learning the truth. "... Understood, Lady Nadia, and worry not. I can take care of things from here." He said during the minute of her struggling to add more at the end, mistaking her reasoning for it, but stepping aside all the same for her to pass unhindered. Had Sarah been more insistent on pursuit, the solemn air would've turned heated and hostile as Nadaar moved in between the two.
But fortunately, things do not go that way. Even so, Nadaar is slow to reply, having noticed just then Angar's predicament, yet quick to correct himself. "Sorry, my dear. I know you would prefer answers, and answers you shall have. But first, we should have a seat." He calmly gestures over to any corner table in the area. Far enough hopefully so that neither Godrick or Angar could hear, but at an angle and close enough to where Nadaar keep an eye on the Death Whisperer.
Assuming he's successful in persuading her to sit, Nadaar whispers something to quickly Rillex, prompting the Tressym to grudgingly fly over to the bar and keep a closer eye on Angar. "Angar, the man over yonder, is... I would like to believe a good soul, if albeit a clumsy one. And a Death Whisper, or so he proclaims. One whose abilities and drive are like those of Kelemvorites, only more inherit -- If you don't know them, don't worry...Where was I..." Nadaar takes a moment to tug at his whiskers before nodding to himself. "Ah yes. So, he contacts the dead for the sake of the living, bridging the gap one final time so that loved ones may converse, restless spirits are put to ease -- those being undead forcefully made generally, and those that would be used as weapons... put down, along the one who dared such a blasphemous act. Why when we last spoke properly, he was in the process of looking into a great sickness killing many, only for some time later the dead to go 'missing'."
"Understandably. Those in Zack's position... and I imagine perhaps in yours as well, find the concept difficult to swallow. Especially considered that he -- he being Angar -- hasn't lived a life in which such gifts are accepted, and so the delivery of such... isn't always well done." Nadaar winces, as much from imagining Angar's meeting as he did his own early interactions with races outside Tymanthor. "... I myself cannot help but sympathize given my own brand of magics.... But that too, is neither or there." Nadaar shakes his head. Then if Sarah's hand seems unoccupied, he hesitated for a moment before reaching out to hold one. "Not to underestimate you, but... is all this making sense now?"

Sarah follows but not before looking back to the stairs where Zacka and Nadia had gone. After a sigh she sits down eager for an explanation. As Nadaar speaks she gives Angar a few disgusted looks but given Nadaars tone she eventually tries to temper her disgust with sympathy as best she can. Once Nadaar has finished speaking Sarah remains quiet for a while, not fully understanding everything that was said but understanding enough. I think I understand, or at least I understand why Zack is angry. But this talk of..Kel..K...well whatever you said. And speaking to the dead..it sounds like dark magic to me. Still Angar seems nice enough just....odd...but I can't imagine Zack took his request well. So what do we do now?
Nadaar smiles softly. "Are you referring to Zack, or the tour?" He lets the question linger in the air for only a brief moment before letting out a small chuckle. "Sorry. It seems at least some of Zack's tendacies have rubbed off on me." Nadaar admitted, giving Sarah a more apologetic grin. "I can tell the tale of Kelemvor and his followers in more detail if you wish. But, it is otherwise like I said, as difficult as it is to imagine. Without men and women like Angar, the dead bereft of recourse will inevitably be answered with hammers of clerics and paladins... and usually, only after tragedy has struck. Tragedy that could be avoided."
Nadaar looks past Sarah to level a sympathetic look the man's direction. "That is not to say he does not walk a razor's edge. Magic itself... outside of the views imposed upon it by those affected by it, is not inheritely evil or good. Just another aspect of existence that suffices us all...*cough*... hehe... sorry. When it comes to topics like these, I.... well, in any case, what happens now is up to you, Lady Sarah. I will need to speak with Angar at least briefly, before going anywhere, I forewarn. But as for Zack..." Nadaar glances back in the direction both human and elf had left. "I won't pretend to understand that man fully -- as you've already seen this morn... But, I believe him to be in capable enough hands, and just needing time now to process." A sly grin crosses his features. "As his bond sister, I'm sure it is enough that you've shown worry for him."

When he spoke, Nadia did nothing more but listen. His anger, his frustrations.. she thought it best that he get out what he needed to with little to no interruptions. Listening was something she could do well. She was able to detect his hurt, his dejection, and then the small sparks of intensity within his voice that she assumed was purposeful. Her eyes were on the water as the elf ran her fingers through her hair, a slight nervous habit of hers (a reason why her hair was usually pulled back into a braid), but she played it off that she was simply trying to wash it. Though she stopped abruptly when he near shouted and threw the soap against the wall, the ranger going wide eyed.
He's been through a lot...She reminds herself, a frown forming on her face at the sight of the soap on the ground. Let him get it all out.Nadia's gaze returns to Zack after a brief silent pause, and when their eyes lock, her heart skips a beat. Just a few seconds ago, his eyes held vexation, to a point where she couldn't bring herself to look at them, but now they were gentle, his voice as well following suit. For the first time, since this whole thing started, she cracks a smile. Small, it was, mainly due to his mispronunciation, but it stayed there, even when he moves on to apologize to her.
For a minute, she is quiet, her eyes not on the fighter, but on the water again as she takes the moment to process, then with a breath, she begins. "Zack..." His name comes out soft past her lips, and the tone remains the same throughout what she says. "I understand why you reacted the way you did. The world for you right now? It must feel like its crumbling apart... With the news of your mom... Nadaar, Sarah, Angar trying to-- mmn... everything else... Yeah, you're stressed, and maybe Tymora is trying to see how much you can take because she knows you can take it, you just... need to vent it out somehow. I'm... glad I was able to do that for you... Well, I mean, I hoped me listening helped..." She mutters the last bit, but shakes her head and continues, eyes on him again.
"Truthfully, I don't think you need to apologize to me at all, but... if it will help in making you feel better... I will forgive that dumb, young hero-wannabe on the condition that he forgive this mistake making buffoon." She smiles, just a bit, managing to lace jest within her voice. "And if he does, then, she'll help him relax." She means to make the offer tantalizing, but a second later, she backtracks, her mind taking a dive off the deep end once she realized how... dirty that must have sounded. "I meant bathe. Just, uh, help wash you, that's... that's what I meant."
Zack had vented everything he could think of, both internally, and externally. As their eyes met, he felt empty, as a result of his draining frustrations, but he felt an ember of that warmth he felt for her starting to reignite itself. Realizing it had never gone out, but that it had, instead, had been drown out temporarily by everything else. Another deep breath, exhaling from his nose. She's been through worse than me... I shouldn't be acting like this... he thought to himself as he watched her look away towards the soap and then back.
Instead of skipping a beat, when their eyes met, his only beat faster. His own small smile not moving when she herself did but it remained frozen in that ever-so-slight curve. She was clearly finding the words.. so he remained quiet, since he had dominated the last few minutes. Finally, she spoke, and he was shocked by her understanding, when he himself didn't feel he was fully justified. He had to restrain himself from saying his prior thoughts of her having it worse, lest it unintentionally become a reverse competition. Well... I hope she realized that herself soon. I'd appreciate a few less nuggets of trust from her... Heh. he said matter of factly, but in a way that made it sound like a flat-joke. I.. he was about to say when she continued.
When she finally finished everything all he was was a big, awkward smile as it was lopsided in one side being higher than the other. You do a hell of a lot more than just help me by listening. his eyes take on a meaningful note as he says it, before she continues herself. In the spirit of the moment, he simply nods as he inches himself up out of the water slowly.... I forgive you, though I don't think you need to be~ that lilt in his voice finally returning in full when he was more playful. And.. just how will you help me r.. his voice catches in realization of the same thoughts she had. His eyes darting to her, the water still too dark to see through, much to his chagrin. Well if we're going to be just washing eachother, we'll need the soap, won't we? How unfortunate that someone left it on the floor. Despite everything from before.. he was confident that Angar would be watched or atleast be compliant.. since if not .. well...
He shook the thought from his mind. He had had plans for tonight, that had already almost been ruined by a myriad of personal problems ,and things seemed to be settling again... His smile got brighter.. more intentional as he finally shifted himself to standing... full height, and accidentally facing in her direction, and displaying him in all his glory in the dim lighting and he was... something else entirely. Not hat it would effect her much since she could see in low light, a thought that only struck him in that moment hat she could probably see most of him before he stood up. Hah. he mentally laughed as he casually got out of the tub to retrieve it. Everything she hadn't seen before this night spinning as he got out in a full panorama, which may or may not have been by design.
Even the single mole on his butt. Once the target was acquired... he'd return, soap in hand just before it began to glow dimly from Light being cast on it. As he placed it just above the water, before dropping it in, the light illuminating everything that had, for him, been invisible just moments before. Woops... Slipped. he gave her a playful smile. It wasn't as intense as usual but the smirk was genuine. Well I suppose And I did promise to tell you something.. didn't I? the faintest bit of husk returning.
Zack, before you get back in the tub you hear a knock at the door. Zack? Your drink and coin pouch. I'll uh, leave it by the door for you. If you need anything else just shout. Godrick can be heard walking downstairs shortly after.
Back with Nadaar Sarah says Of course I mean Zack. I just...well I guess if she can make him feel better...At that though Sarah frowns and seems to retreat into her own thoughts. Shortly after Godrick is seen heading up stairs. Let's go talk to Angar then. Since Zack apparently has all the help he needs. Her tone suggests a mix of anger and of having been hurt at the thought, but before anything else can be said she gets up and heads towards the kitchen exit where Angar was left, waiting only long enough for Nadaar to follow
Nadaar is nothing, if not prompt about following in her wake. He's already various way she can use those hands of her, and did not believe this was going to be one of those times. Even so, seeing the hurt beneath the anger is a bit much to bear without comment. And yet, even by the time the reach the kitchen exit, aside from opening his mouth once as if speak up, not a peep comes out except a soft and defeated sounding sigh.
'What am I missing here?' He thought moments before the two make their way inside. Depending on how Angar had been treated, he'd either be a bit quick to check the man's condition, or shake his head at the absurdity of it all. "So, how would you say this sort of thing has happened to you, Mr. Angar?" He asked politely. No matter the answer, the brief grin is soon followed by another sigh. "I was just telling Sarah here a bit about your story, and wanted to check up on you. As I understand, Zack has been through a bit, and might not have been in the best spirits for a house call. Let alone his father, I take it, all this considered." He gestures over the bindings, if any remain in place.

Despite feeling as if her words would have no real effect, it seemed, with the small, lopsided smile on his face, that it did just enough for his face to brighten to something she was more used to. With his words throughout her part, she didn't notice she was smiling widely herself, even with a blush creeping up on her face in embarrassment at how quickly her mind went over board with her last statement, only for it to stay there when he mentioned the soap. Her eyes glanced over to the bar on the ground, Nadia's hands gripping the sides of the tub to get up and get it herself, but he beat her to the punch, and she froze in place at the sight before her.
"¿Es esa una tercera pierna?" She breathed out without second thought, as her entire body got hit with a sudden wave of heat that converged in the pit of her abdomen. Quickly, her hand covers her mouth and her gaze darts off to the other side of the room where he wouldn't be... only for her curiosity to get the better of her and look again. Aww, he has a mole on his butt, how cute... Oh, he's turning around. She didn't look away despite her reddened face, curious if her eyes were playing tricks on her the first time. She avoided looking deeper into the water for a reason when he was venting, but now... It was fair game.
Nadia then looked up at him when he reached the tub again, tilting her head slightly at the bar of soap being lit... then dropped into the water for him to see her now. Her hair had been conveniently covering her chest, but he could at least see that her body was littered with little dots and freckles, with the large scar (in the shape of an X) on her abdomen ruining the view of the rest of her. The tips of her ears were burning when he plays it off as a slip of the hand with that dumb, playful smile of his dancing at the corners of his lips... then mentioning what he promised to tell her earlier in the day in that tone--
She opens her mouth to answer, but is cut off by the knocking at the door, glancing over to it at the sound of Godrick's voice. Where normally, she would just get redder and shy away, she decides to test her luck with the little confidence she could muster up. When she hears Godrick make his way down the stairs is when she picks herself up from the tub, a hand briefly resting in the middle Zack's chest a moment for a little support, and to get him to stay there a moment so she could make the offer. "Here, I'll get that for you. It won't take even a minute~" The elf steps out, her fingers lightly brushing down his abs. Her eyes were smiling up at him, yet if he searched deeper... "You get back in the tub, relax... I'll make you feel good when I get back, okay~?"
In hopes the he complies, she does what she said she would do, striding over to the door with purpose in her step, to quickly poke her head out to see if anyone was there... and quickly bend down to pluck up the drink and coin pouch (taking just a mere second or two longer assuming Zack was watching her) and shut the door closed with her foot soon after. She gives him a smile as she moved to rejoin him, setting the coin pouch down beside the tub itself before getting back in herself and handing him the drink. "Mm.. Now, what was it you were going to tell me?" She inquires, her hand going for the bar of soap (had it still been there), but not doing anything with it just yet.
Zack wasn't entirely over everything, but his thinking had changed, and he had vented all he needed, and despite it all, he was ready to do what he had originally came here to do. Bathe.. if not more. His eyes hadn't missed the blush, even in the shade, the light in just the right place to 'flush it out' as it were. If he had any himself, he wasn't aware of it. Though the area behind his ears was on fire once more.. as it had been that one night.. not so many days ago. He flushed all thoughts out of his mind. Of Sarah, and graves, old wounds. All of them replaced with the moment.. the here and now. His pupils were dilating to maximize his vision as his focus cleared, and he could just see more..
Luckily for her, he wasn't facing her when her hand attempted to silence her reactions to the scene unfolding. And he couldn't help but notice where her eyes wandered, only forcing him to walk with a bit more strut in his step. If he was confident about one thing... This drew a somewhat smug.. and confident smile from him before she looked at him. His eyes wandered down, caressing her form almost physically drawing a playful frown that certain assets were censored by japanese law hidden.
His eyes seeking farther down. He had seen the outlines from her clothing but they never revealed quite as much as this. His eyes lingering near her scar with a bit of admiration - though whether it was his warriors side or.. his mans mind admiring it was hard to tell. Finally, when she had touched him so, that soft, feminine caress, his body physically reacted, tensing and bowing slightly as her fingers traced along them far more intimately than they had before, at-least in his mind. He considered responding to her comments as she left but... chose not to, more out of lack of things to say, than anything else. Atleast until the end, where he simply would say; I'm sure you will.... it was laced with intrigue and curiosity at the same time.
He exhaled the breath he didn't know he was holding, as her figure had at this point been all but entirely visible, and if a gaze could manifest, she would feel it's caress once more across her backside, from bare shoulders, to her rump, and her legs. His eyes curiously lingering around the sides of her arm.. just in case there was enough 'there' to see even as he made his way back into the water, his eyes never leaving her, and even as he dipped down, she did too, freezing him in his 'dive' as a heart, took shape, and a peach.. very likely made it's existence known. His gaze was locked for those two seconds, that lasted an eternity, a shiver running down his spine like a thousand needles prodding in a pleasant tingle from base to nape, and, beyond his control, a tree began to grow ever so slightly as his blood grew hotter.
It took him a moment longer than he'd intended to to finish his descent, likely being caught by her eyes but he managed, just barely, to slip into the tub properly. As she faced him, walking as females tend to... His eyes caught her smile, but every time his eyes attempted to leave her hips, scar included, it would just barely reach beyond her chest before.. as if drawn by gravity, would slink back down, but as she reached the tub itself, the gravity ceased and he met her gaze. An intense fire burning behind them by this point. Ignoring where the pouch was set, though he somewhat payed attention to the bottle... just before taking it, and at-least for now.. shifting it to the nearby surface by the tub itself as she grabbed the soap that hadn't moved anywhere beyond the water motions pushing it.
With the bottle, likely already uncorked by Godrick, he pulled the rim to his lips after she spoke... Drinking a long drought, before stopping, finishign it off with a Pfa... Hoo.... whew. his eyes averting from hers in the first real sign of perhaps embarrassment, as opposed to the sensations from flirting. Well.... he said, his voice a bit more normal, but even softer than usual. His gaze met her with a bit more seriousness. I feel after that show I just got... unintentionally pausing... This'll come out with a bit of awkward timing... but I had a lot on my mind back in Nightstone.. and I'm sure you noticed some hesitation on my part.. during the peace talks. I had some thoguhts like about how long you'll live compared to me.. if I was.. taking advantage of you because of the past, etc etc. But after talking to my dad.. and shifting my focus a bit. My opinions changed.
This may.. come as a surprise to you. he swallowed a bit, that uncertainty growing stronger but he didn't stop. It was rare to see him not atleast mostly confident in his words. Sigh... Well, I've flirted a lot, and had plenty of girls who wanted me. To differing degrees. But, I've never once accepted. I knew it was just because of this.. or that. Usually because I'm considered generally attractive so it never felt quite real.
You, however.... I'm sure my appearance helps hah. But ... his uncertainty was gone and his focus seemed even sharper now as he gazed at her... For you, I know it's not just because I'm "hermozo" It's more than just that. And it's so much more than that, both on your end and mine... So.. I don't see you in the same light as I did them. You're special because I'm more than just "the hot guy" - You stay with me even when I'm going dark. You're sweet.... you're kind, with a bite... he said the last part with a smirking smile but his compliment was sincere.. If anything, I'm not quite sure what I did to deserve such a woman. But.. I'll definitely take you.... if you'll have me.... she likely hadn't noticed, but he had creeper ever closer, as if drawn in by nature, his breath hotly caressing her lips as his nose was so close to her own, yet not touching... that soft magnetism radiating between them...
Nadia couldn't ignore the feeling of his eyes on her body when she turned to retrieve his items at the door. His gaze was hot against her skin, so much so, that her chest swelled in confidence which only added additional fuel to the fire that had made home at the pit of her stomach. It caused her to give him those additional two seconds of viewing pleasure without much of a second thought, and when she turned around, seeing him just then sitting back down in the tub, she knew she caught him in the act of staring. He deserved it, after all, as she did her fair share of looking herself.
As she rejoined him in the tub, she, very quickly, glanced into the water in the midst of her sitting back down, just out of genuine curiosity... Goosebumps riddled her skin soon after, excitement having ran down the line of her spine, while her stomach did a flip at just the sight of-- She swallowed thickly, forcing her mind and eyes to focus on something else... the soap. With the bar in her hands, she proposed her question and was ready for an answer. And, again, she listened with no interruption, but noted how he seemed almost... embarrassed by something.
Despite this, she held a small smile on her face due to his mention of a few seconds before, though it would fade slowly when he continued. Her hands went to brush her hair again out of nervousness, using the soaps suds to wash out any dirt. Her expression was nearly unreadable when he mentioned how much longer she'll live compared to him... how he thought he was taking advantage of her due to their past... but she seemed to relax once he said his opinions had changed regarding that after speaking to his father. Mentally, she breathed a sigh of relief and thanked him herself.
As he continued on, Nadia couldn't help but look up at him when she heard the uncertainty in his voice, he looking almost... vulnerable in front of her. It was a sight she hadn't seen yet, and she took comfort knowing he was able to do it in front of her, even admitting what he was admitting, without worrying about being judged for it (or she hoped he knew that anyways). The corners of her lips tugged into another smile again when their eyes locked, she so enraptured by him and his re-focused voice, that, yes, she didn't notice him creeping up closer to her, and even if she had, she wouldn't have stopped him. At the end of it all, her answer was wordless.
With no hesitation, she leaned in, her head tilted ever so slightly, and closed the distance between them, her lips on his, her hands gliding up his chest (after dropping the soap back in the water) to cup his cheeks and keep him there. The kisses she had given him previously were normally quick and sweet, little pecks, nothing more than that, but in this one, the ranger had made sure that she poured every ounce of passion she could into it. Within her passion came forth warmth and sincerity, and the longer she kept him there, he would, unintentionally, get the slight sense of yearning and lust underneath her heartfelt emotions.
When they finally part, Nadia brushes her nose against Zack's and smiles. "Does that answer your question?"
We interrupt this episode of Lewed and Nude with: Nadaar, Angar looks to you and then to the shackles and shrugs. It's not the first time someone has reacted this way, and likely won't be the last. Is there something I can do for you two?
He had, himself experienced sensations, but they came.. in pulses. Some originating from his spine like before, pleasurable pins and needles racing from the top to the base throughout this all, even during that small confessional, nature was taking over. But alongside them cold waves (of the positive variety) shot out from his core, to the tips of his limbs, each time, he would tense and flex in various places as the pulses made their rounds. During all this, as she herself smiled broadly, while his own smile was subdued, and yet.. somehow more intense than ever. If he could project every emotion and sensation that was coursing through him in this moment, she would feel it as a wave of force brushing against her, all of it directed at her.
He had noticed almost every little twitch, and shift in emotion or sensation from her. It was as if he was hypertuned. Every flush, every twist, every movement was in pure clarity as she had made her way back. Their eyes meeting again, truly, as he focused in once more. Eyes locked to hers with a suns gravity after realizing how close he had gotten. He could feel her own breath, between his. He could feel her heat radiating over even the water itself. His own was like an inferno, their warmth coalescing between them only intensifying when her lips pressed to his. He met her with as much voracity as she showed him, and .. pressed her harder his own passion mixing, and molding...
One hand cupping her by the hip, fingers intentionally tracing along the start of her apple-bottom, while the thumb slipped into the crease of her thigh. His other hand enwrapping her just below the shoulder blades.. his hand casually moving towards the front as she got closer.. his arm gaining more ground.. and his hand.... by the time she had pulled away, their tongues had danced, a single bridge lasting as they parted for a breif moment before snapping. Their bodies pressed close, almost fused, with her slightly higher given the position. His eyes never having left hers once opened, as the kiss itself ended...His expression and mannerism matched her own desires, and he was a wolf now, fierce, passionate, hungry.
As her nose bushes against his own, he bites her bottom lip, unable to speak a reply, but giving her the faintest nods of acknowledgement, accompanied by a truly feral, husked... and baritone M~hm~Holding her there... as he flipped their positions and pressed her back against the curve of the tub...
The light of the sun starting to creep into the moon-roof, as the daylight poured in from the sunrise. Only moments before, the activities ending. The floor spattered with at-least half of the baths water, and the floor soaked in the immediate area around it. The bottle had been almost entirely forgotten, and the soap, had been moved onto the surface nearby until recently, as they both lay there in the recovery. The soap idly moving against her abdomen as he casually washed her. Laying back in the nooked curve with her facing away on his lap. Both, likely starting at or near the roofs light. His chest heaving slowly, in slow, but very deep breaths.
His lips passively kissing along her neck and shoulder, eyes closed. That was..... Hmmm.... exhaling from his nose. That was... incredible~ he finally managed to finish between breaths. His fingers without the soap in hand, idly tracing along her scar like one would admire something.
Nadaar actually gives Sarah a quick sidelong look before shaking his head. "A good many things in the form of questions being answered. Questions I failed to consider last we spoke. But, they can wait until the morrow. Largely, I just wished to make sure you were alright. For with but a word, I can ease pain, and mend wounds. Some, at least -- I wasn't sure to what extent exactly did Zack had chose to.... vent."
Nadaar cannot help grimace and shakes his head again disapprovingly. "If you are alright though, I'll be back to check on you. Make sure your at least left with blanket so forth. Just... try not to get up to any more trouble?" He requested, giving a strained by earnest grin. After which, he would step back to let Sarah have her turn before the two at least left for the common area again. At which point he'd turn to her and ask, "So... what now?"

Lost Sarah..today... probably in more ways then... his inner thoughts flashing a little on hsi face as it twitched softly in his brooding.
Or rather.. after seeing those eyes she made at the dragonman... I "let" her go. He visibly shrunk farther.
But you do need a bath one way or another, just like me.
Occassional Dungeon Master.
Earlier...

(If he says no, then
he can go **** himselfshe heads back to her room.)Sarah looks a bit taken aback at hearing Angar wanted to dig up Zacks mothere grave.
And then Godrick..... he acts like digging up corpses is the most natural thing. A larger spark.

He's been through a lot... She reminds herself, a frown forming on her face at the sight of the soap on the ground. Let him get it all out. Nadia's gaze returns to Zack after a brief silent pause, and when their eyes lock, her heart skips a beat.
Occassional Dungeon Master.

His eyes wandered down, caressing her form almost physically drawing a playful frown that certain assets were
censored by japanese lawhidden.
Occassional Dungeon Master.
As her nose bushes against his own, he bites her bottom lip, unable to speak a reply, but giving her the faintest nods of acknowledgement, accompanied by a truly feral, husked... and baritone M~hm~ Holding her there... as he flipped their positions and pressed her back against the curve of the tub...

Occassional Dungeon Master.
At which point he'd turn to her and ask, "So... what now?"
