Aeyd was ready to give the vampire another fisting round of attacks up until she hears Torsus' voice ring through her mind to notify them of his spells success. While she didn't know exactly what it entailed, she would listen to his word and switch targets onto the closest enemy nearby (if she needs to go down from the loft area, she will). Might as well try to get rid of the small fry.

Torsus sends two blasts of energy streaking across the room towards the sleeping men, lacking any targets besides the vampire above. The first blast hits one of the men in his cot knocking him right out of it and sending him tumbling across the ground until he hits the table. The second blast misses his ally who is waking up from all the noise, going right by and hitting the aforementioned table, sending wood splinters, cards and coin scattering in every direction. Aeyds fist are too fast for the vampire to keep track of let alone dodge. The vampire suffers one hit after another as sparks fly and die out with each blow dealt leaving the vampires skin singed. Unfortunately for the party but luckily for the vampire the blows he suffers snap him out of the magic affecting his mind. No longer does he see Chalaska as the threat but rather the monk who has so quickly injured him and so severely.
The Zhent thugs stand up and grab their weapons, quick to retaliate against this attack. Thugs 2 and 3 grab their makes and charge in, ganging up on Narz. After hearing the devastation caused by the hobgoblin wizard they have no intention of giving him a change to fill the room with his destructive magic. Thug 4 stands up after having been woken up by Torsus and grabs a nearby crossbow, sending an arrow towards Narz as well, taking full advantage of their pack tactics. Narz soon finds himself accosted by two mace weilding thugs who seem to work well in a group. They quickly overwhelm him and manage to score several painful hits against him. Unfortunately for Aeyd the pain breaks Narz's concentration and she soon feels the magical boos given to her speed fade, but worse yet a wave of lethargy hits Aeyd like a giants club to the face making it impossible for her to move.
The Zhent leader, Cameryn pulls a light crossbow from under his desk, silently cursing the vampire for bringing this trouble on them. Surveying the field and seeing his boys choosing to target Narz, he decides to help finish off the troublesome intruder. The bolt quickly closes the distance between the two men, sticking in Narz's shoulder. Not quite to the devastating affect Cameryn hoped for but the sight of the gravely injured hobgoblin fills him with confidence.
The vampire, still to stunned to move, just stands there staring angrily at Aeyd who is coincidentally also unable to move.

One would think Narz would no longer be surprised at the boldness of the Tortle. Yet after hearing his words and remembering a similar magic quite possibly being done to the Hill Giants before, he looked a bit taken aback all the same. He started to look to Chalaska, but stopped short and instead narrowed his eyes at the Tortle. It mattered not that the hobgoblin had conspired to win his own freedom through somewhat dubious means of his own. The Tortle's method were bound to cause more backlash than possibly worth in the end!
Conflicted neverthelss and distracted, Narz could hardly muster much of a defense before finding himself nearly overwhelmed by his opponents. Only by share luck had he managed to avoid the one blow, and with gritted teeth, the one moment his concentration just about lapses, he growls out a "No!" and forces the strand of magic linking him to Ayed to stay firm. "Gah! I'm falling back for the moment. Apologies, Chalaska. Buy me some time." He called before with a sharply spoken arcane word, the hobgoblin disappeared into a blue-ish mist.
When he reappeared some 30ft back down the tunnel they came from, he kept moving another 30, intending on finding a bend that would at least get him out of sight long enough to break out healer's kit and begin quickly treating his wounds.
Bonus Action: Casting Misty Step at 2nd level, teleporting back 30ft.

Chalaska nods to Narz and as he dissapears she quickly takes his place looking to dispatch the two thugs in front of her as quickly as possible with three quick attacks at the pair. Chalaskas sword moves in a quick flash and before the first thug realizes what's happening he's clutching at the stump of his hand as she cleanly cuts right through his weapon arm. Her second attack is a lung that punches clean through the same man sending him squirming to the floor. For her last attack she redirects to T2 slashing him across the chest and leaving him hardly able to stand.
T1 rushes in, determined to hold the line but his weapon doesn't even scuff Claires armor.
Claire Disengages from the enemy who rushed her and moves up to Chalaska's side. She holds out her holy symbol towards the vampire and summons her golden spear (Spiritual Weapon) next to the fiend. It attempts to skewer the stunned vampire before retreating its 20ft of movement back towards Claire and Chalaska. "I don't know what that insane turtle is thinking, but his actions apparently do not represent the rest of us. We are still with you."
Claires summoned spear appears behind the vampire and sticks into his back before dislodging itself and moving closer to Claire. T5 runs passed it and replaces his fallen comrade, standing next to his injured friend and attempting to hit Claire albeit without much success.

Torsus didn't care what the others said, what little of his mind was currently his own. He didn't like people like Chalaska - They had no room for nuance. Nor did they know why he did it. It would have brought the vampire within reach of the entire force and made escaping far more difficult, if he even had time to react to the onslaught before he ..'died.' but he didn't have the time to explain such things now. He was only barely in control - Since he had to loosen his protections to allow the power to flow. He felt they could handle the smaller enemies. He didn't doubt that they could handle the stronger ones, even if he hadn't seen them fighting giants but his skillset was better suited for keeping the larger threats harassed and harried. And so his attention never left the vampire, who was stunned. Though he was mildly annoyed that Aeyd, though he knew it was through no fault of her own, removed his suggestion.
Eldritch words passed his lips as they had before but this time too fast for anyone to comprehend, it sounding like mumbled garbage as he aimed his wand at the stunned vampire, choosing to no longer waste his more precious resources, just in case Chalaska became a problem later. He wasn't above such things. When you've had to do what he's had to do for as long as he's had to do it, you realize things.
Two eldritch missiles, with the same eerie hissing, and dropping maggots that seem to disappear before they hit the ground fly towards the creature of the night, intent on slamming him against the wall, and if both hit, the second giving him a case of whiplash as he is tugged right back.
Aeyd knew the effects of the stun wouldn't last much longer, and with everyone dumping all they could on the creature, it was her turn. After Torsus' blasts knocking him back, then pulling him forward, the monk follows up with a flurry of kicks and fists!

Torsus's blasts strike the stunned vampire but don't seem to hit the the force he intends though it does still manage to slam him against the adjacent wall and then pull him back into place just in timefor Aeyd to make her strikes. Aeyds fists seem to have better success in dealing damage however even with Claires magical blessing Aeyd misses a few strikes. With the final punch to the face the vampire seems to reground himself and finds he is able to move once more. Not content to be a punching bag he decides its time to take some revenge, reaching out and grabbing Aeyd by the neck. (Unless I'm missing something again, LA:unarmed attack no damage. T2, though injured, continues to make a stand and attempts to strike at Chalaska. To even his own surprise he manages to land some heavy looking blows against the woman yet she hardly reacts to any pain felt, seeming to only be emboldened by the blows. Claire sees a crossbow bolt fly her way but doesn't even have to move to avoid being stuck by it.
With Aeyd in his grasp the vampire grips tighter, his claws drawing the smallest amount of blood from Aeyds neck. With his hunger overwhelming him the vampire lunges for her neck, Aeyds hasted attempts to at least keep out of reach of his fangs failing her. The vampire seems to restore all.the vitality lost from Aeyds blows and then some as she feels her life's blood stolen from her body. (Final LA to bite. 31 damage total.
Cameryn drops his crossbow when he sees Chalaska so easily dispatch his men and draws his shortsword. Hoping over his cover he charges in, running right passed Torsus (AOO if desired) and attacking Chalaska and Claire. His sword manages to get through the armor of both warriors and while the cuts his deals seem minor, the burning sensation rushing into your bloodstream warns of a more sinister nature behind the Zhents attacks.
The vampire continues to draw blood from Aeyd who manages to find enough strength to push the vampires head away from her, sperating them momentarily and managing to avoid loosing anymore blood for now.

Knowing he could hardly spare another second to confirm the bandaging would hold well enough, Narz stepped once more into view, toying with the thought of igniting the room's inhabitants in a blaze. But instead of drawing forth an instrument of destruction to help facilitate such wanton destruction, as the cons FAR outweighed any pros, the hobgoblin instead reached out a hand and made a grasping motion.
"Submit." He spoke softly, and yet his words carried an unearthly weight that reached deeper still into the minds of the Zhent's currently harassing Claire and Chalaska. Those that proved too weak minded would feel a sudden migraine come on, and their center of balance suddenly thrown off as the magic wormed its way through their brain. To an outside observer, any yet weaker still would collapse as if suffering from a sudden aneurysm.
Wordlessly after, Narz tries to slip out of sight again and prepare for the worse.

Torsus's blasts strike the passing Zhent leader however inadvertently push him closer to his intended targets in doing so. As a result the beforementioned attacks don't change. Narz move up in hopes of his spell affecting the minds of those enemies holding the line but unfortunately the earlier attacks must have affected Narz more than he thought. Though the two weaker lackeys still fell under the affects of the spell, it hardly had the affect Narz intended giving then minor headaches at most. Meanwhile the vampire continues to try to bite Aeyd but the monk continues to hold him off.
Chalaska curses but grips her blade with renewed fervor as she seems to pull from a well of stamina earned from years of training and combat. In a wide arch she swings her greatsword down upon T1 in a series of strikes and she he fall any extra swings go to finish off T2 and help clear the field in front of her before focusing on the Zhent leader. As the first strike hits the Zhent thugs is cut from shoulder to hip, blood gushing from the wound. Before he has a change to even winch in pain however the great sword comes back around at his neck cutting his head clean off. With the enemy in front of her down Chalaska uses her momentum to slash at the thug beside her, cutting him in the gut and sending him sprawling to the ground.
Claire brings her spiritual weapon even closer, attempting to drive it into the Zhent leader's back, while simultaneously summoning a mote of flame to her palm and chucking it at the vampire.

Claires mote of fire flies across the room and strikes the vampire in the head. He quickly pats out the fire as he curses from the pain. Unbeknownst to him but obvious to Aeyd he seems to have lost his eyebrows in the blaze. Shortly after Claires spiritual spear thrusts towards the Zhent leader but just barely misses him.
T5 meanwhile moves closer into the fray, moving next to his boss and getting to Claires side. His mace manages to hit her in the side though it seems her armor absorbs most of the damage.

Priority pull, only push if pull suceeds. the +#'s are bless.
Torsus was confident that the others could hold their own, and he suspected that the zhents would likely give up once the vampire was slain, though at this point it was less his own desire, but the desire of something else to torment a creature that thought itself powerful, for its fear was more delicious once realized, than the common man. And for some reason, aside from the single bolt tossed his way, they had been ignoring him, and a smile crossed his face as he felt as though he were in the eye of a storm. His head rolled around once across his shell, his gaze falling side-ways on the vampire that was interfering with ... That was the problem at present, though Chalaska would likely soon be one herself. One thing at a time. His voice was beginning to take on a cruel and warbling edge.
He cried out the same spell, this time choosing to pull at the vampire first, and if a pull was successful, slam him back, to better grate him against Aeyds fists. (Ao's)
The monk had been dazed after the vampires attack on her, having lost a considerable amount of vitality, but she does her best to shake it off to avoid any other bites from the creature. Thankfully, Torsus was able to assist her in getting out of its grasp, and Aeyd seizes the opportunity to (hopefully) land a hit on the vampire!

Torsus's first blast strikes the vampire, pulling him away from Aeyd and out of her grasp but not before she gets a good punch to his jaw. Though the second blast misses it doesn't prevent Aeyd from closing the short distance to unleash a series of devastating blows against the vampire, each strike hitting hard and sending sparks of flame through the air to briefly light up the room. At this point the vampire begins to look desperate, as the strikes against him seem to be doing more damage to his life force than he can steal from others. In an attempt to restore more of his life he tries to claw at Aeyd in hopes of catching her once again in his grip. Aeyd ducks and dodges as quick as she can, which with the aid of Haste should make her near impossible to hit she hopes. Unfortunately the supernatural speed of the vampire still proves too much for her as she his grabbed yet again and forced against the wall.
(LA grab, last one)
T4 seems to decide being far away from the fight is still the way to go, but knowing he has a better chance against one of the foes further in the cave he aims for Claire in hopes the bolt can peirce her armor. To his own shock even the bolt does exactly that, sticking right into the clerics shoulder. The Zhent leader, though upset with the fall of his men and wishing to take his anger out in Chalaska, realizes that he can much more easily dispatch the annoying woman beside him while she's distracted by his ally. Figuring this would make his life easier he turns his blades on her instead. Unfortunately when he actually needs to hit someone he somehow fails to find even the slightest gap in Claires armor and his poisoned blade is unable to get through. (But if he attacks the low armor npc he'd roll 25s)
The vampire tries to bite Aeyd once more but despite being held in place by the vampire she still manages to dodge his bite. When he hisses in frustration he tries to simply claw at her cuts yet he still can't connect.
(That moment when you realize that you only thought you post, but hadn't actually done anything!)
If he weren't confident before then Narz was certainly confident right then that the others had the Zhent's attention well in hand. Which is why when he ducked back into view again on the situation, he more unhesitatingly would stay his ground at least ten feet behind the defensive line that was Claire and Chalaska, and took in what he could of the battlefield. 'This... could go either which way.' He mused in thought while gesturing in the air and drawing sigils within it.
'But the moment is not quite right yet' With that final thought in mind, Narz reaches through the circular array. Although when his hand emerges on the other side, it either takes on a more skeletal form or a spectral one. One spell being used to send a skeletal and phantasmal version of his hand streaking down the hall to grasp the vampire by the back of the neck, before yanking him off of Ayed. But with the other, spectral darts are fired with the rapidness of a SMG, and a life of their own as they veer around obstacles to strike their targets.

Torsus AOO, both push.
