Though your searching is quite miserable, it's not too hard to see a staircase leading down at the other end of the corridor, this room contains six tattered, straw-stuffed mattresses, you also hear the sounds of activity in the next room through the thin wooden door

Let's take out whatevers in the next room and then wellw see what our new friend has to say for himself" with that, Shadinn unstraps his huge glaive spins it deftly and strides towards the thin wooden door ready to kick it down and storm into the fray...
This door is in the same layout as the last room, there are 2 doors at the other end of the room (Door A and Door B, A is left and B is right), but there is a Duergar and Krentz (The guy from at the tavern), the Duergar is using pieces of furniture to barricade Door A. Krentz is trying to explain that the Duergar’s approach won’t work, and is telling him to plug the gap at the bottom of the door with blankets. They don't seem to notice you for now
Krentz says "Crap, because you wouldn't barricade it properly the Ooze is gonna get through and kill us all!" The Duergar then says "You sure we shouldn't just give up and get Grum'shar to kill it?"

Gimble takes a second to summon mages hand. He uses it to knock on the door they are barracading but from the opposite side of the door.
