Rycider will tend to wounded at the second site (touching each person with the crystal)

Can some one please pluck the wings off that damned tower Ricky mumbles

Tanakir follows Roccar, shouting to the rest of the group before leaving, "Stay in pairs, at least! I'm getting the feeling that these are meant to split us up!"

"Stay here and help them, I'll go!" Roccar shouts, seeing Wes, Aradurk, and Tanakir following. (OOC: This is Roccar in character, certainly no problem with Wes following him if he wishes)

There are less wounded at this second site, but as Rycider treats a man and woman caught in the blast, she notes at least a dozen forms scorched into the side of buildings. She and Karst also see the young tiefling girl that Killian and Gruun have approached motioning for them to join her in the nearby alleyway.

"Leave Roccar, The Headmistress says there is a bigger picture, and she wishes to speak with you quickly," she explains to any who join her.

Killian will ask of the Child, "Where would she have us rush to now? Can she not see we are busy, and scattered?" Killian doesn't like Ritzka much, and is pretty sure the feeling is mutual.

Tanakir shouts after Roccar while continuing to follow, "Don't be foolhardy! It's not safe to go alone when there could be Slaadi everywhere!"

"Wes - stay with him", Aradurk calls out. "Don't let him out of your sight. Right now, he is our best chance of fixing this." Aradurk turns to help stabilize victims.

"Is the tower clear of the city?" Karst asks up at Wes who has a better view, going the answer is yes and the bombardment will have stopped." the paladin also moves after Roccar, tryi g to keep an eye on him and Wes. 

"She understands. Trust her," the girl answers Killian. "She says to bring your new friends, too. I can take you to her."

As Wes, Tanakir, and Karst give chase to Roccar, heading toward the third explosion, Aradurk and Rycider assist those they can at the site of the second strike. They hear familiar responses. All of the bystanders saw a woman in the street say something just before the explosion, though the reports of what she looked like and the words that she spoke differ - some say she had red hair, others say brown, and one even claims she was a swamp hag.

 To the girl, Killian says, "Some of them have moved to the next attack, meet us there. Gruun, let's gather the others."

She will turn and go to Aradurk and Rycider as they assist people. If she passes anyone on the way who seems to be suffering or near death, she will throw them 1 hp each from her lay on hands pool (up to 10 total). "We've been summoned by Ritzka," she tells the others. "We're to bring the whole group, so we need to leave these people and follow Roccar."

She will then go to follow where Roccar and the others went, moving quickly, without waiting for discussion.

"Ritzka is a friend and ally to Roccar. She will have information we cannot find. Move swifty!" Gruun will stay at the back of the group once they get everyone moving, keeping watch on anything tailing them and carry any party members not able to keep up.

As Wes continyes he only waves Aradurk and Karst on, keeping eye contact on Roccar

Rycider will make her apologies to the wounded and quickly join the others, keeping to the middle of the pack.

Aradurk, not eager to get cut off from the party, pull away from the crowd and regroups with Rycider and the others.

Wes and Karst split from the party, following Roccar to the third explosion. They come upon an all-too-familiar scene: A crater fills the cobbled street, identical in size to the first two. Aside from the unfortunate few who are now ash on the side of a building, there are none grievously injured at this site, though nearly a dozen people are clearly hurt.

Roccar finally stops to catch his breath. "What in all nine hells...Why would Denorian not stay to help? What has gotten into him?"

The rest of the party groups up in the alley, allowing Killian time to apply divine healing to the wounded at the second site. Noticeably, the bystanders are watching the paladin closely, almost in awe, pointing her out to others nearby. Before anybody can get a closer look, she has joined you in the alley.

"My name is Brie. Follow me, I will take you to Ritska," the tiefling girl says. She leads you through the alleys for a few minutes, into  a burnt building nearby, through a sliding door cleverly hidden in the facade, down a concealed trap door, through a tunnel, and into an empty building.

Inside, a metal cage is suspended above serrated spikes. Inside the cage, a mind flayer fondles various long, empty boxes with a disturbing air of delight. Standing below the cage, looking up at the mind flayer, is a middle-aged tiefling woman in robes. She says sadly to herself, "When mages go to war..."

"Roccar, I do not think we can find that answer here, and there are few injured at this site. Let us return to the others, we need to regroup not chase shadows."

Karst will move to join with the others if Wes and Roccar agree but won't separate from them if they both wish to stay.

"...everything burns", answers Aradurk. "Is this another of the weapons in this constant war? What has become of the art of bladesmanship?"

"Ritska," Killian says in a chilly tone.

Wes looks around, not seeing any new information.  “You’re right, let’s head back.”

(Tanakir should still be with Roccar)

Tanakir rests a hand on Roccar's shoulder, "I do not know Denorian, but he may be farther gone than he was last time. There is a possibility he is behind these attacks. Come, there's nothing to be done here. We should rejoin the others and see if they have found anything more informative."

Roccar shakes his head at the suggestion. "No, Denorian is focused only on defeating this Elder Evil. This is Doramor's work, I am sure of it. Let us return, then. There is nothing more to be learned here."

Along the way back to the safehouse, a small half-elf child calls for your attention from an alleyway. "Ritska asks that you follow me," he offers.

Roccar sighs, "The Schoolchildren...Ritska's network of spies. Wes, Aradurk, Tanakir, follow the child; if anybody knows anything more about what is happening, it is her. I will return to the safehouse. If Ser Mary returns, she needs to know what is happening."

"Killian," Ritska answers, equally chilled, "It is good to see you again. You as well, Gruun." Her tail flicks in annoyance...or amusement.

When Aradurk asks, she looks up to the cage. "These boxes were filled with weapons of Denorian's coming war - but no longer. Let us wait until all are here for my questions. One of my Schoolchildren is bringing the others as we speak," she says.
