[OOC I just found when reviewing previous posts that Guilliame knew the identity of the second victim Koshana Jacoub. Dora said a few times the unknown victim so sorry about that.]
I look carefully at Vidon "Apprentice, if you do not wish to be questioned then perhaps do not be found skulking in the vicinity of a henious crime. Which by the way you've shown exactly no curiosity about. Your description of your movements simply does not bear scrutiny. Why would you set off to the Scholars Wards without any idea of where exactly Basilly was going? Lets say that you went to the Sheriff's office to get that knowledge and please remember that can be verified. Then why would you not show interest in the crime to establish whether there was any link to your Master's slaying. Why would you not come forward to assist or declare your interest? Please enlighten us."
[OOC: A wary and somewhat concerned look comes into the man's eyes before he answers. However, what he says is also true, though perhaps not followed in practice because some Seekers—Seeker Harlan having been one of them—act as though they are completely above civil law. Dora also gets the feeling that Voda's reaction might be very different if the sheriff and Basilly weren't present.]
"Because I... shall we say bent, the rules," the man says in answer to Dora's questions.
He then turns to the sheriff and says, "My apologies sheriff, I know we Seekers need to be invited into the Ward before we can act officially, so I was just trying to stay out of the way as much as possible. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and was seen. It will never happen again."
"You will have to forgive Apprentice Voda," says Basilly, also speaking directly to the sheriff. "The death of Seeker Harlan has affected us all, especially Apprentice Voda. He just seeks information on his master's killer, not to interfere with an official investigation."
For Dora:
[OOC: Basilly's statement seems to be legitimate and said in support of his colleague.]
"The Watch has also lost someone tonight," says the sheriff grimly after a moment. "And, considering the circumstances, Handleader Wallus is right to be suspicious. So, I have changed my mind and I would like you to accompany us back to the main office so we can investigate your involvement more closely."
With the sheriff's words a moment of tension springs up amongst the small group of people standing in the darkened street.

Vidon looks at Basilly and then nods and says, "Yes, of course sheriff."
The sheriff then turns to Guilliame and says, "Yes, Master de Marchant. Your assistance would be most useful. Would the fourth candle of the morning suit?"
For Guilliame:
[OOC: Guilliame won't be able to have a Long Rest between now and then, but he will be able to get some sleep and use a Short Rest of 1 hour/candle to recover his missing spell slot using Magical Meditation. Basically, Guilliame will be tired but not at a game mechanical disadvantage by agreeing to the sheriff's meeting time.]
