The pelted woman looks up at Vaxis and answers: "We was robbin' ya, and you gots the better of us...simple as that. Came 'ere to rob that dragon too, but I guess you'll be gettin' that loot too. Go on and bash me skull in, let's get it over with," she says matter-of-factly.
Though Runa seemed resigned to her apparent fate, she made one last attempt to break free of her bonds: STR (Check): 23 vs. DC 17 (Hempen rope)
Minsys finds three longswords and three shortswords lying among the devastated corpses in the main hall. They seem like penknives and letter-openers in his massive palms, until the growth magic begins to wear off and he returns to normal size. He is now small enough to fit through the doorway and up the short staircase where Connak and Vaxis are interrogating the lone surviving assailant.
While all the looting and interrogation is going on, Tink would move to get a good vantage point of where they expected Cyrovain to be and keep a look out should the dragon decide to make the first move and strike at them.

In an effort to find a good vantage point from which she can keep watch for the dragon, Tink moves up the stairs past Vaxis and Connak (and their prisoner) to an arrow slit on the western wall of the gatehouse. Peering through the opening, she can see the winding trail about a hundred feet below as well as a bridge that connects the gatehouse with the main fortress. Looking across, the massive dwarven fortress looms over the mountain range and valley below...silent and in disrepair, but still very much firm and strong.
Though she did not see the dragon, Tink got the eerie feeling that they were being watched, or perhaps even...stalked? No, that word did not quite fit either...hunted...that was it. Tink felt as though she and her companions were now being hunted.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
" Friend Tink ? Doeth thee seeth anything yonder ? Yon Great White Wyrm must be close, methinks, if we judgeth from such fierce roars... I feel quite certain we all heard them, yes ? May I also add: the first of said-draconic eructations was the fruit of quite a congenial and minor spell of mine, designed to test yon ruffians' reaction to it. However, the second and third were allegedly from the beast itself: I fear we may be in a fair amount of danger, and this quite soon..."
The voice was of course from Tabesha'l Message spell, and it echoed into the artificer's head with an eerie clarity.
" I daresay I shall cast another spell, so as to allow us to keep an eye outside in a... let's say much more discrete, yet also efficient way - at least I hope it will prove to be such. I shall keep everyone informed, as a matter of-course. Erhm... and now... 'Over and Out, Wirbelsnixt Tango Charlie', as the gnomes say ?"
The wizard's voice faded from Tink's mind as Tabesha'l started concentrating on her new spell.
** She will cast Clairvoyance hovering outside above the buildings, so she can actually get a good look of what could be perched on the roof above them, or flying around the area. If needed, will also roll a Perception check 7 / Passive Perception 13 **

Minsys gathers up the three longswords and shortswords. "Fine pieces to be reforged for my honor," he says to himself as he stows them away. He then resigns himself to move over by Tab and wait for whatever magics are to be wrought.
Through her magical sensor, Tabesha'l sees for the first time the dragon that had brought all of them together and thrust them down the path of quests that led them to this desecrated place. The young white was perched on the roof of the main fortress, and paced back and forth impatiently...
The elven wizard quickly uses her Message spell to warn each of her companions separately of the Wyrm's precise location... and as silently as possible, for a change.
" Now, we seem to have a momentary advantage, in that yon draconic fiend doeth not seem to be privy to the fact that we art currently aware of its position above us. Let us mayhaps use this to benefit our forthcoming strategizing, be it in fleeing as in distracting and/or straight-forward attacking it ? What doeth thee think ? What are thy plans ?"she asks each of them in turn, making sure their conversation remains telepathic, so as not to betray their intentions to the creature hunting them.

At that moment, the dragon looks directly at the elven witch's magical sensor, cocking it's feral head one way and then another as it interrogates the luminous, fist-sized floating orb. The wyrm's dorsal vane stood firmly erect as the beast then let out a terrible roar as it sprang towards the sensor....Tabesha'l couldn't help but flinch as the dragon's maw rapidly filled her viewpoint through the sensor, just before a hurricane of ice blasted forth...
Connak replies, "If it's pacing above the main fortress, we still have to cross the bridge to fight it, which will be extremely dangerous with a dragon right there."
Tabesha'l pales as she gets a very close view into Cryovain's gullet, shaken despite knowing the dragon can't actually hurt the magical orb of her spell.
" Well... 't would seem that despite its relatively young years, yonder specimen has gained its race ancestral abilities to see through magical barriers and arcane veils. That rules out a few things, but not all of them. I shall do my best to try and conjure an image of its green-scaled foe, mayhaps flying in the skies yonder ?"she points vaguely towards the mountainous range outside, before her eyes focus on the entrance of the keep and the stables.
"I'd suggest we do use this opportunity to do what we must, be it attacking it or fleeing or anything else, because if I do cast this illusory spell, 't would be only possible to do it... literally... now, while my magic still gives me eyes above yonder ceilings."

"Yeah, awwright," lazes Runa at Vaxis' instructions, "s'pose you'd loose these ropes then? Or am I to make my escape from the dragon all tied up? Or maybe that's your angle, hmm? Fleeing bait, am I?" she says before spitting at the ground at the dragonborn's feet indignantly.
Vaxis unties the rope securing Runa who, unless stopped by Connak or any of the others, gathers up her belongings and moves towards the stable to ready her horse.
As she passes by Minsys, knocks her thumb to her nose and says: "A gifted warrior y'are...would've made a fine trail robber." She gives him a nod of approval and offers him one of her shortswords in acknowledgement of his victory in battle. "Leave me these other two blades...I gotsta be able to defend meself, ya know,"
She tightens the saddle on her horse, mounts and blasts out of the stable doors at full gallop, hoping to escape down the mountain pass and into the narrow pocket canyons, out of reach of the dragon.
Connak looks at Vaxis, "Well, you let her go. But she's as good as dead out there on her own with the dragon. We might be able to save her if we can get that dragon's attention once we've managed to cross the bridge to the main keep. Lets get going quick."
Connak will make an educated guess based on his knowledge of where he saw the bridge as they came up to the keep, to head towards the bridge from where they are. (Let me know if I have to roll anything). Then he'll take a peak outside from the cover of the building.
Vaxis glances at Connak. "The gods shall decide her fate. We are having a job to do. This dragon must be brought low before it can terrorize any more innocents. I shall be right behind you, friend Connak."

Tabesha'l, still holding onto her spell, watches her companions file out as they prepare to exit the safety of the building, a little perplexed.
" Hum. Friends ? It hath not escaped thy attention that said-wyrm is actually perched atop the building we presently find ourselves in, yes ? Doeth thee truly wish to hurry to thy deaths - or thy certain transformation into an icicle from that foul beast's frosting breath ? Hello ? Doeth any amongst thee hear me ?"
She turns towards Tink, her face clearly a mixture of confusion and surprise.
" What about thee, friend Tink ? Willt thee also run outside to be devoured and frozen, not necessarily in said-order, or shallt we try to locate the creature and use our guiles ?"
** Will release her spell if she gets a line of sight on Cryovain. Otherwise, will wait inside the stables - not far from cover, maybe the horse stalls and/or haystacks themselves - to see what happens. **

Once everyone is secured, Vaxis drops his spell, allowing those that remain to move, provided they are capable of moving in the first place.
He approaches the one Connak tied up, and in a voice that can only be taken as seething with rage, he says. "Explain yourself."
