The ring of the paladin's blade as it is drawn from its scabbard is as clear and pure as a silver dinner bell...fractions of a second later the beautiful note is silenced once again as it cleaves half-way through the right hemisphere of the orc's cranium. Ando tries to snatch it free, but the firmly rooted weapon only pulls the orc's weight towards him. He narrowly maneuvers around the hulking body as it topples over to the ground. The wicked smile of the deceased orc is fixed firmly, clearly indicating he died doing what he loved...freelance murdering.
Minsys was confused. He thought that was Raff Raff and he was to kill him. Well maybe they changed their mind but now he was pissed. Having just taken an axe to the face he needed some release. Letting out a bear like roar, he rushed the line orc. Dragging the maul behind him across the ground, kicking up a small trail of dust. He finally reached over with the other hand and brought his full strength to bear with the maul at the Orc's chest.

The orc snarled in arrogant disgust at Minsys as this "half-blood" charged at him, incensed that this puny whelp of an orcish whore would even dare to approach him....then the head of Minsys' maul came swinging over the top of his head in full force. The weight collided with and then through the orc's breastbone and only slowed once it had bottomed out on his pelvic frame.
The orc looked down at his entrails then back up at Minsys in surprise. "Ang Gijak-Ishi," the orc mutters before his eyes rolled back into his head and he falls to the ground, dead.
"iron in your blood" (a high compliment in orc society, the opposite of which would be "flowers in your blood" which is basically orcish phase meaning "weakling")
Mins pick up his maul and gave a curt nod as he touched the bloody wound on his face. In orcish he responded, "Battle tempers the iron, it is the way." He then gives one final strike silencing the orc forever. He takes a moment to wipe it semi clean on the ground and rummages through his belongings. He'll take his weapon as well whatever it may be.
Minsys adds the coins to his pouch and then picks up the battle axe. He gives it a quick look over examining it's condition and all it's wear and tear. He then goes back to his pack and straps that onto it. He then hefts it back up onto his shoulder and grunts out, "I don't think that was Raff Raff, thinks it was too easy." He looks around a bit, "Where now?"
Connak navigates the party through the orchard to the north, which opens into a large vegetable/herb garden. The smoking husk of a barn can be seen in the northeast corner of the garden. Directly in front of the party is a pond, beyond which is the farmhouse.
Along the way, Connak spots the tracks of several more orcs, but no actual orcs.
Connak signals for Minsys to take the lead. He takes position 35 feet behind Minsys, arrow nocked and ready to fire. He mostly looks around, trying to see if Minsys draws out any orcs out of their hiding spots.
Minsys nods, "Knocking it is," he says and then begins striding towards the house. If no one stops him by then he'll move up to the and put his foot to hit, hard. "Knock, knock," he yells out.
Tabesha'l catches up with Connak and says, her face concerned: " Praytell, fair Thuniviel, I am loath to say so, but wouldn't a circling maneuver be appropriate ? After all, there may exist other doors and windows into yon house on the opposite side, and I surmise our new friend's energetic knocking should be enough to get yon orc fiends' attention while some in our party advance on the other side of said-building. I would greatly favor thy opinion on this matter, as I am but a humble student of the Arcane and thou hath proven to all here to be well-versed in the tactics of battle... and stealthy infiltration." she concludes, looking at the wood elf pointedly, a slight sparkle in her eye as she waits for his and the others' answer.

Connak does his best to answer, although he feels being called a tactician is a bit of a reach, "Stealth becomes more and more likely to fail the bigger the group. Splitting up is not advised, we stand a better chance to survive if we can watch each other's backs. The more we wander about, the more likely we are seen and the orcs have time to plan an assault on their terms. There's also a chance they set traps, so the more we wander, the more likely someone falls into a spiked pit. I haven't seen any orcs out and about, so if they're in the house, then having Minsys there standing in the doorway keeps them bottled in. A nice little choke point. If if wasn't for hostages, I'd just have you burn the house down..."
(Since we came more from the south-west, I'd say Minsys walked up to the back door.)
Vaxis sidles up next to Minsys, shield up, nodding to both Connak, Ando, and Tabesha'l as he goes. His head vane quivers in anticipation as Minsys "knocks".
"May the winds be at your back. Be prepared for anything, friend Minsys."
Minsys enters a well-stocked kitchen. He sees no orcs, but two doors leading elsewhere in the house swing back and forth on spring hinges. The sound of heavy footsteps going up a flight of stairs can be clearly heard in the northern part of the house.

Did orc 1 get hit from Minsys when he rushed over or was it shy and a miss?

Minsys' rowdy greeting is met with little more than the chirping of birds and a light breeze gusting around the corners of the house
Minsys walks through the door. His head on a swivel scanning for any movement. He will break that direction if any is spotted.
If there is a clear enemy in sight he'll move to attack. If there is no enemy in sight action held to strike first enemy to come into range.
Minsys enters a well-stocked kitchen. He sees no orcs, but two doors leading elsewhere in the house swing back and forth on spring hinges. The sound of heavy footsteps going up a flight of stairs can be clearly heard in the northern part of the house.
