Vaxis frowns...or as much of a frown that a dragonborn of his stature can pull off.

"Ando, Minsys, move to having intercept. I shall be right behind you, friends."

Minsys follows, with maul up.  He's been in enough scrapes that its like a trap and he's prepared for a blade should one appear.

Minsys bursts through the nearest swinging door to his right to find a dining area that looks as though it had been thoroughly looted and abused. To the north, he sees another swinging door and catches a glimpse of a humanoid figure moving eastward on the other side of it. Giving chase, he moves through the door to find the foyer of the house and the front door standing wide open.

Ando moves further into the kitchen towards the other swinging door on the north side of the room. Numerous heavy footfalls moving in rapid succession can be heard in the upstairs of the house.

Vaxis follows Minsys through the door leading to the dining area, but before he moves further an orc comes crashing down the stairwell in the southeast corner of the room. "Ash armauk!!" shouts the orc back up the stair.

Outside, Connak is taking stock of the building when he sees Minsys, Ando and Vaxis force their way into the house, which is a two-story farm house with several windows along the sides of both the ground and second floors. A moment later, he hears the guttural, barking shout of an orc that has rounded the corner of the front of the house and spotted him and Tabesha'l: "Shun armauk!!"

In the dining room, the orc on the stair (#1) heaves the javelin in his hand at Vaxis:

Outside, the orc at the corner of the house (#2) charges at Tabesha'l with his greataxe high above his head:
Greataxe: 12 vs. AC 15 (Tabesha'l), dealing 8 slashing damage on a hit.

ORC (A) thunders down the stairs at the front of the house and comes face to face with Minsys. Without a weapon handy, the orc thrusts a massive fist at the barbarian:

ORC (B) descends the stair at the back of the dining room, pushing ORC 1 out of the way as he rushes to tackle Vaxis:

ORC (C) comes crashing down the stair at the front of the house and bolts through the northern kitchen door to face off with Ando:
Punch: 9 vs. AC 18 (Ando), dealing 4 bludgeoning damage on a hit.

ORC (D) follows close behind ORC (C) but stops to assist ORC (A) with the assault on Minsys:

Minsys dodges a punch and pulls out of the grip of another.  He let's out a snarl and swings his heavy maul.

The orc is dazed after Minsys’ brained him with his maul. He manages to shake it off, but just barely.

" Mmh, thy words are wise indeed, yet it would seem our enemies have already taken the initiative, Thuniviel. This one in particular seems somewhat miffed by our intrusion... Now, let us see , what do have here... ?" Tabesha'l's reflections are cut short as the orc starts swinging his huge axe towards her, but luckily the blade hits wide off the mark.

The elven enchantress, keeping her nerve, promptly lifts up her staff and a swirl of phantom blades instantly fills the space around her, slashing at the orc with an eerie, spectral hiss.

After getting slashed by Tabesha'l's magic, Connak moves away from her and the house, trying to angle to be able to shoot the orc in front of Tabesha'l and see through the back door. Then he shoots at the orc threatening Tabesha'l while reluctantly screaming in elvish "DUCK!"

Inside the house, Ando brings his sword down on the shoulder of the orc, the blade thrumming with divine power. The orc glimpses the image of a unicorn superimposed over the paladin’s face As the blade moves through his body, passing clean through and exiting just above the right hip. The orc’s top half slides down over his bottom half and then topples onto the floor at Ando’s feet. Moving into the foyer, he finds Minsys holding his own against two more orcs.

Connak’s arrow plinks off the flat side of the orc’s greataxe, eliciting a snarl from the brutish attacker.

ORC 3 rounds the southwest corner of the house, spots Connak and Tabesha’l and dashes towards them.

Just as Ando enters the foyer, ORC (E) descends the front stair with his axe out in front of him:

Immediately behind ORC (E), ORC (F) heaves a javelin at the paladin:

ORC 1, seeing his comrade paralyzed by Vaxis’ magic, rushes toward the dragonborn, leaps up on the table, which quickly fails under his weight:

Greataxe: 18 vs. AC 18 (Vaxis), dealing 13 slashing damage on a hit.

ORC 2 presses the attack on Tabesha’l:

ORC (A) swings wildly at Minsys:

Minsys continues to hold his maul in his hand but with the orc now glaring to hold him still, he laughs.  With as much movement as he can he through his head one way and then launches it at the restraining Orcs face.

Headbutt: 17 if hit, 6 damage

Minsys laughs as the Orcs grabs on to him.  He jumps up slightly raising his feet to his chest and then drives his weight forward.  This gives him just enough momentum to slam his face it the Orc he had previously hit.

Attack at Orc A

The back of Minsys’ skull was apparently thicker the the front of ORC (A)’s...as indicated by the concave indention on the orc’s forehead. The collapses to the floor, and lies there very still as the crawl rages around him.

Tabesha'l's vision grows blurry for a moment as the impact of the orc's blade almost knocks her off her feet. Luckily her staff absorbed a lot of the blow, but she knows she has to bring the creature down before it can strike her again. In an instant, her hand flashes up and points at her assailant's face as the oppressing toll of a lugubrious bell fills the orc's ears.

Connak takes the opportunity to shoot the orc while Tabesha'l staggers...
