Droki glares at Kaylyn defiantly and starts ranting incomprehensibly: Attack. When you not looking. When Droki not looking. Nasty job on nasty pale-face. You be next. Add you to list, then you see. Droki tell his friends. You and all them uglies. Chop off ugly head. Or maybe give you another ugly head. Make Droki late, very bad. Kaylyn detects no magic aura about the hat but his boots radiate a strong enchantment.
Responding to Rhayna the gnome ghost says: Oh, where's me manners? Pelek be me name. From Bligdenstone I came. Ran in with our man 'ere just outside Gracklstugh, and 'e invited me to stay with 'im. Never thought 'e would do me in like this though. Most unfortunate. Can't rest now, not with all parts all spread out in this barmy place.
I think Gentle Repose will work on the body parts scattered throughout, but not the ghost as it is not a corpse or remains.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Sekkar - still with activated Dawnbringer in his hand - approached talkative ghost. "Buppido was always ... strange. Would not even say this," Sekkar gestured around, "is too much for him. Though the place could add to his madness, all these magical blinking and glistering." "I am Sekkar,"reminded of the manners he even slightly bowed his head introducing himself. "We came here searching for some assassins-derro. Word is, they have some kind of high-quarters around these parts and for some reason running around with glowing swords and murder random people. Or not random - then we would like to know what for. Can it be all was for not and they worked for a crazy necromancer?"
(It's a crazy idea, and I never did a resurrection or anything like that. I was thinking in using Gentle Repose to preserve Pelek's body parts, and see if we are able to bring to a priest here to revive?? I am not sure if that's feasible, or even if we have the means to do that, but at the very least try to help the poor fellow.)
Rhayna looks around the body parts, trying not to think too much about it so she won't throw up. "Would you like us to collect your, errr, body parts, and perhaps bring to a priest for resurrection? Though..., I have to say, I do not have any previous experience with this sort of work."

Kaylyn reaches down and pulls the boots off of Droki and shoves them in her pack.
"I don't know what these do but whatever it is you don't need the aid of their magic anymore. Now speak plainly. Who is this you speak of? Some sort of demon that you serve? Where were you going that you will be late? Who are you going to see? "
Pelek the gnome-ghost shrugs his ghostly shoulders and replies to Sekkar: I've not seen any glowing swords, to be sure. Not seen any other derro neither, except for one chap in a funny hat. Quite sure that no-one be working with our man 'ere. He does be talkin' a lot, but only with 'imself. By I ask ye, fer what reason would a lot of surfacers like you come all the way down 'ere to look for a few assassins? Yer a mighty long way from home I'll wager.
To Rhayna, Pelek replies: Oh, you're far too kind. I'd be glad to 'ave ye take a part o' me back to Bligdenstone fer burial, but I can't tell which parts are mine, they be so mixed and scattered. The ghost then appears to remember something, and adds: Ah! But there's me hand! All this strange magic swirlin' around in here animated one o' me hands, and it scuttled away through the tunnels. If ye see a hand crawlin' around, there be a good chance it be mine. Maybe there be more than one, but mine had a ring on it, made of obsidian it were. I'd be most grateful to ye if ye do see it, and if yer paths take ye to Bligdenstone, that I might be laid to rest there.

Droki hisses angrily at Kaylyn as she removes his boots, but he makes no attempt to escape. Ugly thief! Not yours! Make Droki late! Important business, but not your business. Important jobs, but you'll see. Only Droki knows the safe ways. Droki will wait until you're dead. Take it back from ugly thief. Finish important jobs. In the process of removing the boots, Kaylyn also got the faint impression of magical aura from inside the derro's darkmantle-hide satchel.

Sekkar scratched his nose. ""No other derro" you said. Saw that weird one with the tentacles on his hat? Running about and yelling he is late? Know anything about him?"
Kaylyn's look sours at being called a thief. But pragmatism outweighs her pride at this moment and she grabs the satchel from Droki and opens it up to see what is inside. She also checks the rest of him for weapons, holy symbols, or anything else.
"You sound demon possessed you little fool. Tell me who I should fear so I can decide for myself if this person is worth fearing. Speak some sense or I'll assume you are just stark raving mad."
Rhayna takes out her Journal, corrects her spectacles, and start recording the poor gnome's plight. "Can you describe your ring? Besides the fact that it is made of obsidian. We will make our best effort to retrieve it." As she records the information, she looks around and tries to see if she would be able to piece together the poor fellow's body parts. (Roll?)

Pelek replies to Sekkar: That be the one! Fast little chap he was too. I only saw him coming and going, don't know what he's up to.
To Rhayna he says: Ye can keep the ring if ye find it, there be nothing special there. But it be my hand that needs to be taken home. The remains here are barely recognisable. Rhayna could possibly distinguish svirfneblin parts from dwarven, derro, quaggoth or other, but has not way of telling whether any gnome remains belonged to Pelek specifically.

The moment Kaylyn tries to take Droki's bag, he turns violent and tries to bite and heatbutt her.
"That's the one. Thanks for help and ... sorry about your body." Sekkar clicked his tong in disappointment: "Zeno, it looks like the place our Derro was visiting is that cave I caught him in. Want to come along and check? Can go alone, but it's good to have more eyes in that place. Gives me a headache already and I never knew what it is."
If Zeno agrees - Sekkar shows the way to the "mushroom path" and how to use the shrinking/enlarging mushrooms, if not - he takes fresh magical mushrooms and goes alone.
"Very well then. We will do our best to keep an eye for a hand with an obsidian ring." Rhayna promises Pelek. She turns to Stool. "Hey Stool, please keep an eye for the missing hand for our friend here ok?" She pats the little Myconid. She then looks around the area for anything humanoid made that she can study.
(I kinda figure since Stool is closer to the ground, it may have a better chance of finding a "walking hand".)

Zeno listened carefully to all that was happening. The ghost svirfneblin had him unsettled, but he was letting the others take the lead. He was mostly confused as to the connection to their now dead crazed former cellmate, and how this all tied to the Grey Ghosts. So he was happy when Sekkar brought up pressing forward to scout out where Buppido had gone. "Sure thing, let's press ahead. But perhaps we should take a rest first? I'm a bit winded."
