Passed the group Stealth check, so everyone gets a surprise round. Yay!

There are two duergar within 30 feet on the same level as the group. Two more are visible 90 feet away and 20 feet high on the top of the left mesa.

Sekkar shrugged and attacked nearest duergar, activating Dawnbringer when he was close enough:

Attack 2: Attack: 16 Damage: 16 + 4

(Blinding effect from the light?)

"Let's make this quick then," Kastix states before pointing his wand at one of the Deugar in 90ft away and casts Scorching Ray. all three rays striking them.

Attack: 27 Damage: 14

(I think these all have advantage because we are hidden?)

Zeno hangs back in the shadows and takes aim at the Duergar Sekkar didn’t attack. He fires the crossbow, the bolt whistling silently through the air.

He then scrambles quickly to another outcropping, hiding to stay out of sight.  Stealth: 17

Kaylyn, realizing they likely weren't going to be able to make much of an investigation with out alerting the guards, who would attack them eyes one of the duergar 90 feet away and sends a blast of eldritch energy at it.

Attack: 17 Damage: 8

Pax strides forward and approaches the nearest Duergar.  She swings her blade at him, a bit like it's just a big stick.

Attack: 16 Damage: 6

Sekkar steps out of the darkness and with a blinding flash of daylight from Dawnbringer, he cuts down one of the duergar before the hapless guard is even aware of his presence. The second guard turns to see why her companion has suddenly fallen to the floor, only to take a stinging slap across the side of the head with the flat of Pax's sword, too stunned now to even notice the crossbow bolt that pierces its neck, and she too slumps to the ground. On top of the mesa, one of the squatting duergar is suddenly hit with Kaylyn's blast of magic energy that knocks it off-balance. It recovers itself only to take one of three rays of flame in the chest, knocking it over again and off the far edge of the mesa to Kastix's grim satisfaction. Rhayna holds up her pendant, remembering the glorious sensation of Selune's night flooding through her and forgetting for a moment the intoxicating allure of the Lady's gift. Blessed light briefly illuminates Sekkar, Pax and Zeno and they feel bolstered by the cleric's spell. The only remaining visible duergar is standing on top of the mesa beside the obelisk, and has only the chance to let out a cry of surprise at seeing it's companion fall from the cliff, but other gruff voices can be heard taking up the call of alarm.

By now the sensation of telepathy has become almost second nature to the members of this group, and yet they all feel a new and rather powerful sensation in their minds, different and more alien from any felt before. It speaks no words, just a feeling of presence, of searching.

One other duergar is visible on top of the mesa. Ready for Round 2 actions.

Pax charges across the open space, up the ramp and reaches the first cliff face.  She glances up it, and begins to climb.  (trying to get to the 2nd level of mesa, hopefully the cliff is providing cover to her as she climbs).  Movement + Dash.
