Being careful to avoid the other puddles, I mean if one puddle can have eyes and teeth and a mouth and horror, why not others? Kaylyn moves backwards away from the creature closer to the entry to the next cavern trying to get at least 25 -30 feet away from the thing as she raises her hands and sends blasts of Eldritch energy at it.

Every instinct of lizardman screamed "stay away" so loud, that he almost lost that momentum and had to collect all the willpower to make the first step. But Rhayna's Blessing returned his senses and Sekkar attacked:

(I presume, before going into battle Pax had a chance to cast Armor of Agathys which is done at 3rd level)

Sheathed in a thick shadow, Pax focus' her mind, letting a calmness ease through it, washing away the panic from the first site of the creature. Rhayna is so fast to act, her magic bolstering everyone's courage....while Kaylyn and is already blasting the creature with magic before Pax has steadied herself. Feeling slightly ashamed...yet proud of her allies, she taps her heals together (bonus action) and moves with great speed forward, her blade out...and swings it at the creature, sheathing the blade in the now familiar thundering energy as she strikes.

Attack: 17 Damage: 6 + 1 thunder damage.  +3 to hit from bless.

The horrifying aberration doesn't last long under the assault, with Kaylyn blasting it from afar, and Pax and Sekkar joining the gnomes in beating the thing down. Sekkar in particular, who is becoming increasingly familiar with such alien creatures, recognises it as something the soft-skin folk refer to as a Gibbering Mouther. Kastix ensures the creature doesn't move again by setting the remains on fire with his staff. Unfortunately, the valiant stand in support of the two gnomes, including the thunderous boom from Pax's blade, seems to have cost the group some of their covert advantage, and a shrill voice is heard from the adjoining cavern.

Intruders! No, no, they must join the others! Princess Ebonmire! Prince Livid! Defend!

Immediately following these commands, the same shrill voice intones the words of a spell, and suddenly thick yellow-green fog appears surrounding Pax, Sekkar and the two gnomes. Kaylyn, Rhayna and Kastix are luckily far enough from the fog that they only feel slight irritation to the eyes, nose and throat, but it is a different situation within the thick of the cloud...

Back around to Kaylyn.

Pax and Sekkar are inside the poisonous cloud. The area of the cloud is heavily obscured, blocking view of the adjoining cavern, so neither the source of the voice nor the identity of Princess Ebonmire or Prince Livid can be determined.

Kaylyn watches as the cloud of what is likely not very good for you forms in the cavern.  She then dashes up and around to get to the opposite side of the cloud so she can see past it and see their foes.

So she is going north around it in a half moon shape north and east unless she can slip between the cloud and the wall on the west side without being affected by the cloud.  Then she will move SE diagonally but only of it can be done to avoid the cloud.

Rounding the poison cloud, Kaylyn gets a view of the cavern beyond. Phosphorescent lichen dimly illuminates this cave, the ceiling of which is covered with pools of green slime, which ooze down the walls forming hideous drapes, and drip into patches on the floor, among small scattered pools of brackish water. Kaylyn catches a glimpse of a slime-covered throne near the middle of the eastern wall of the cave, facing west. About halfway between Kaylyn and the throne, a black pudding can be seen moving toward the western wall.

Gnome 1: 33 poison, CON save 10 for half

The two gnomes splutter and gasp in the thick green cloud, and can be heard collapsing to the ground.

How about to make things easier for everyone, I'll bump Kaylyn up to the top of the initiative order, ahead of the other royals. So Kaylyn can declare an action for Round 3 now.

Pax Con save : 16

Concentration save: 9 vs DC 10. 

(9 damage.  4 hps on Ward, 15 temporary hp's from Armor spell) 

Pax growls and charges with speed through the poisonous gas, out the other side and gets to within 20 feet of the green gas....then unleashes two blasts of magic (Eldritch Blast) at the black slime.

Kastix will dash around the cloud, moving around Kaylyn's position for better line of sight. 

Sekkar Con save: 20

That was some poison unfamiliar to Sekkar and he got hit hard. The only option here was to run. Through the waves of green vapor he saw a fallen gnome and tried to grab the tiny creature to drag it out too (Grapple 6 ) but first and foremost he tried to escape.

Sekkar moves out of the cloud to the voice direction (preferably with the gnome) and summons Healing Spirit for 1 (willing to spend a charge on the gnome)

Still concentrating on blessing her friends, Rhayna tries to get a better view of the King while avoiding the poisonous cloud. (Rhayna will use her action to try to speak with the Pudding King. Maybe finish speaking after everybody take their turn?)

Rhayna will shout toward the voice. "Please listen, I know where the feast is, and it is very very far away from here. Are you sure that you won't be late for the wedding? I also would like to deliver some news to you. Ogremoch's Bane has been broken, Queen Neheedra is no more, and the Goldwhisker's clan has been welcomed by the Diggermattocks. So now you have all the elementals that Bligdenstone can summon, and a whole lot of wererats right behind them, plus all the able bodies in the area. My point is, you will need all the oozes that you are able to control to follow you to the feast, and if you continue this fight, you may not have many left, even if you do come out victorious today. So, I ask you, can we all stand down, so that we can talk this over? This fight is not necessary, for I do want you to attend the wedding!!" Rhayna puts her hands up in good faith.

Kaylyn can only assume that black pudding is nothing but trouble and levels 2 blasts of Eldritch Energy at it if the Pudding King doesn't immediately recall this princess and prince whom she figures one them is the black pudding.

Rhayna tries her luck on the southern side of the poisonous fog. There is a gap not quite wide enough to slip through, but enough to yell through without her eyes stinging too much. Pax sprints out of the cloud and fires off two blasts at the black pudding, striking it twice. Kaylyn's two blasts strike moments later before the pudding disappears behind a rocky outcrop. Sekkar follows behind Pax, dragging the gnome along and conjuring the spirit snake at the same time. The gnome's eyes flutter open and it groans. Kastix manages to make it far enough around the cloud to glimpse what is happening, as the poison cloud moves slowly toward the north-west. A head pops out from behind the distant throne, then ducks back behind it again as the cloud suddenly vanishes - like magic!
