Kaylyn is fascinated by the book Groonpeck's Field Guide to Terrifying Denizens of the Air, with special appendices for Acheron, the Elemental Planes, and the Abyss. She reads through it and processes the information within. Such a great find. But the book titled Leadership Secrets of Attila the Hun is an amazing find and she takes the book and begins to read it while she has the short chance to do so under the spell she has cast. She realizes that with some effort she could use her spell as a ritual and read the while thing in a weeks time. She sets in her mind that she will find that time.
"Do you think, since we went back in time, that we could return to Gravenhollow? Perhaps just a hope of mine. I suppose its fluctuation within time would prevent such a thing. An interesting idea to try at some point though. Do you think we have a week's time to tarry here? This tome would be an amazing read if I could just find the time."
When Rhayna brings up True Sight.
"What I have is this Crystal Ball of True Seeing. If you spend an hour working with it you can cast the spell Scrying with it. The area that you see through the spell you can see with True Sight. I'll stay with you, then cast it on me and you will scry the area around me, allowing you True Sight to read that book."
Pax stands there in her armor ready to leave. “Vizeran said you could look in his library, but do you think that extends to reading this magical book of his? I thought these types of books only work once in a very long time.”
With a quiet grumble she takes her helmet off and looks around. “We’re either in a hurry or not. I recommended one thing and everyone said no, cause we’re in a big hurry. Now we want to take a week to read a book? I think it’s fine but can we agree if we’re in a hurry or not?!”

Rhayna ponders about Kaylyn's question about visiting Gravenhollow, for she would like to go there herself as well. Before she is able to reply to the question though, she hears about the suggestion to use Kaylyn's Crystal Ball. She was about to give up on trying to decipher the Imaskarran Tome of Death, and she would be thinking about it for the rest of her life. She gladly accepts Kaylyns' suggestion of spending an hour to familiarize herself with the object, then cast Scrying in trying to see the true meaning of the book.

Rhayna ignores Pax and continues talking to Kaylyn about how she can possibly read one of Vizeran's books through a crystal ball. Pax looks at the helmet in her hands, and then the helmet on Kaylyn's head, and then says, "Kaylyn, if you're both going to stay and read, then I'd like to borrow the helmet, and the tower. Sekkar and I can go around and try to take care of some things while you're both studying. Sekkar and I can go fetch the copy of the tower, and I think it would be worthwhile to go negotiate for the other damaged teleportation helm. We can also go to the gnome place and convince them to work together with the rats, and warn them of the source of the slimes. And, though I've doubts it'll be useful, we can check in on the blade. Those are all low risk and we should be able to complete them while you're reading."

"I suppose I can agree that we are not in as big a hurry as we had been as we seemed to have made up a couple months. And if you reallyare OK with taking a week off I would really love to read this book. You and Sekkar can handle those things while we read. That sounds like a great plan to me. You can use the helmet and the mansion, that's fine with me."
Perhaps Kaylyn has lost a bit of focus but the book has caught her interest and she really, really wants to read it.
"Can we just go? The books are not about to leave this place, as I take it. Or we can take them with us and everyone will read in between the fights? Should we live? We have the place and the helmet, let's have a look at the egg chamber and see if we can get an egg."
Pax seemed genuine in her offer. Pax was clearly irritated, but had no problems with the group taking longer. As she'd previously stated....the group had gained a couple months...they had time to think things through and make good decisions. With that in mind, she went and got Sekkar, "Let her read her book. A week is literally not the end of the world right now. And I have a feeling we'll need to be in top form in the time to come." and then together she walked through the past timeline and location of key interactions or particularly important events and took some time to sketch out the most important of their goals. "Sekkar, I think another helmet is our first priority. Followed by getting the duplicate tower. Neither of those things have a lot of risk. Then we can talk about what's next after those things. Maybe your sword, though....as it seems to have displaced a person....I wonder....where did you find it? One of your previous companions may now be there and need rescuing."
"I think our first concern should be getting last part of the plan, the egg. We've gained time but getting an egg is an unknown variation of time. We dont know how long it'll take. Worst case, it may eat up the time we've gain or even more. We get the egg then you can go around righting wrongs and whatever. Better than find ourselves taking too much time righting the wrongs and find out getting an egg take even more time we can afford to spend," Kirin replies, "The tower hidden among the maze with two demon lords residing within is safe? We were lucky first time getting the tower and not encountering more trouble then we did,"

Pax stands at the doorway to the library. Inside Rhayna and Kaylyn stand, holding the precious books in their hands, clutching them as if someone will try to yank them out of their grasp. Outside, the powerful evocation wizard and warrior lizard man stand...both raring to go. Pax stood at both a literal and figuratively spot between the groups. She wanted, as much as the two women to be in a library reading books. But she knew, that duty called them to confrontation with violent forces and that the danger could not wait. She glanced at each group, one in turn, then the other. Then she steeled herself and turned away from the wizard and the warrior towards the two women. "I'm sorry. We can take a few weeks then to tackle these things. But....Sekkar is right. If we end up taking six weeks to find a worm egg, It's better to find out now, then lose the time and realize it was time we never had to begin with."
She glances to Kirin, "That tower had clearly been there for a long time, and its owner were long dead. We'd be teleporting right to it. I'm not worried about that."
"Please, I just ask for a moment for me to learn how to use Kaylyn's crystal ball. It will be the death of me if I don't find what is hidden within this book." Rhayna asks Pax.
