Alekzander Goblins Dontontion Berrik Bugbear Folos Wolf
It is the wolf's turn!
The wolf, seeing that his master is currently being ganged up on by the goliath, abandons the dwarf and charges at Dontontion (provoking an attack of opportunity from Berrik).
Berrik opportunity attack: 15 for 7 bludgeoning.
Berrik gives the wolf a solid parting blow before it dashes out of range.
OOG This entire time I've forgotten to roll for pack tactics on the wolf's rolls, silly me.
Wolf attack: 20 for 9 piercing damage. (OOG It says manipulated, but the original roll was 22 for 8 piercing halved to 4 for rage, so disregard the other numbers)
The wolf's teeth sink into Dontontion's leg as he tries to bring the goliath down to the ground...

Alekzander Goblins Dontontion Berrik Bugbear Folos Wolf
Alekzander breathes a small sigh of relief as the wolf moves away, "Your welcome Berrik." he replies quickly, only to clench his teeth again as he sees it lash out at Dontontion. Once gain he points his finger and summons radiant light to sear the beast.
OOG: Sacred Flame on the Wolf. DC 13 Dex save or take 1 radiant damage.
Dontontion is barely standing, blood is pouring from his wounds but a grin is on his face. "Time to die!" he screams as he swings his battle axe with everything in him at the bugbear.
Your axe cuts deep into the bugbear's neck as the light fades from his dark, hateful eyes. The creature falls limp and with a swift kick, you send him to the ground, reveling in the scent of blood in the air. Klarg the bugbear is no more, but his loyal pet howls out of what you think must be agony in seeing its master fall.
Alekzander Goblins Dontontion Berrik Bugbear Folos Wolf
Berrik brings his staff down hard on the mourning wolf, cutting short its grieving with a killing blow to the skull. The room falls silent save for the panting of you and your party members. It's almost peaceful, but soon the quiet is broken by a shrill laugh from the opening to the north through which the goblins had run earlier. Emerging from the shadows is a party of six goblins, one of which is a head taller than the others and dragging a badly beaten, barely-conscious human behind him. You all recognize this man as Sildar Hallwinter, Gundren Rockseeker's personal escort. The taller goblin drops Sildar to the ground as two of his retinue point swords at the man.
"You kills Klarg? That mean Yeemik is big goblin now! Hee hee!" The goblin, Yeemik, begins to dance with glee. "You come for human, yes? He no good to us, exceptin' for eatin'! But... pay Yeemik two-five goldsies, you go with human, we leave you 'lone. You no pays... you all dies and we eats!" This ultimatum arouses a cheer from the troop of goblins assembled behind Yeemik, all chittering and chattering in their language.
"Don't trust him... run while you can... they have Rock-" Sildar groans before receiving a kick in the ribs from a goblin foot.
"You pays Yeemik or you dies!" Yeemik says, holding out a grubby hand expectantly and sporting a devilish grin.

"I have something of great, magic value" Folos take from his backpack a red coral branch." This cometh from a magic place in the Deep Sea. I can give it to thee, but first you hast to set the poor man free"

Don grins broadly... "That was fun" He leans down and wipes his axe on the bugbears chest.
"The way I see it, there are two options here. The first is that we give you money for the human... not going to happen. What we will give you for him is this fine wolf pelt and meat AND Folos magic thingy. Humans are stringy and frankly don't taste good. Wolf though... that is some good eating there. I'll also give you this bug bear's skull... put it up on a pike and your enemies will tremble in fear."
He places his foot on the bugbears skull... "Or I could crush it right now and me and the boys could stop messing around. We had some fun with this lot here, but if you push us, I might lose my temper."
Hearing Dontontion's tough words, the underling goblins seem to shrink in fear, but Yeemik is not impressed. However, when Folos produces the red coral and claims it is magic, his eyes widen with wonder. "Ooh, you has magics? Red thing is booyahg? Magics?" Yeemik begins to coo, then he turns to the goblins by Sildar and barks at them in their language. The two goblins sheathe their swords and begin to drag Sildar toward Folos, dropping the bloodied prisoner in-between your party and the gang of goblins. Yeemik steps forward and stands on Sildar's back, making himself a little taller in the face of the much taller opposition, and extends his grubby hand toward the Triton druid.
"You gets man, I gets booyahg, blue-man. We deals?"
Yeemik quickly snatches the coral from Folos' hand and eyes it with curiosity. He turns and shouts at his underlings while waving it toward them like a magic wand, resulting in the small group of goblins running away out of the cavern screaming. Yeemik laughs and begins to run out of Klarg's den. "Go! Peace! You no be here when I comes back or we kills you!" He calls out between fits of devious snickering.
Sildar Hallwinter is still on the ground, wounded and groaning, but otherwise alive. "I really hope that you didn't actually give that thing magic..." He mutters.
As Don calms down he is going to quickly search the Bugbear and the goblins. He is also gonna grab the wolf muttering about not letting good skin go to waste.
He starts to whistle lightly to himself totally forgetting the fact that he is covered in blood... a lot of it his own.
As soon as he gets what he can, he is ready to follow whoever wants to leave.
Dontontion, the goblins don't have anything of note besides scimitars and shortbows with arrows. Klarg has a wooden shield and a morningstar, as well as three javelins. You're able to lift the wolf and drape it over your shoulders. It reeks of wet dog and blood.
Sildar slowly rises, wincing as he begins walking toward the various loot taken by the goblins and stored here. He looks about fifty years old, judging by his graying hair and wrinkles. He stands at about six feet tall and looks like he may have been very fit once, but has grown softer. He eyes a collection of crates all bearing a blue lion crest. "These boxes," he begins, leaning against said supplies, "bear the symbol of a merchant company in Yartar, the Lionshield Coster. The caravan must have been waylaid on the way to their trading post in Phandalin... We can't take them with us, but perhaps we can return and retrieve them for the Coster meanwhile sparing future travelers the nuisance of having to deal with these goblins."
"Ah, but where are my manners? I am Sildar Hallwinter. Thank you for rescuing me. I recognize you all from the meeting with Gundren in Neverwinter. I understand you were to deliver some provisions to Phandalin. I have urgent business in the town and my superiors would be willing to pay you if you escorted me. No doubt you have many questions, all of which I can answer once we get out of here. There's a way out back the way I was brought in, I can take you there. We'd best move quickly before Yeemik is done terrorizing his underlings."

Folos tries to read the real intentions of the goblin, see if he is really willing to bargain. Insight 6
Surprisingly, Folos, this goblin is quite difficult to read. You can't glean very much of his intent from his words or his body language.
