More images flash into Badger's divination-sensitive mind - visions of another world in another time - of a diminutive creature, a powerful ring, and a seething pool of lava. Badger suppresses a sudden impulse to dance with joy at having finally acquired this powerful object, which we knew all along belonged with us, and would always be ours, our own, our prrrreciousssss!
Badger leaps down landing on a large "ice berg" of rock in the lava....but it barely wobbles as its quickly freezing all the lava around it. But, leaping down 30 feet onto rock isn't simple...and he takes 13 damage as he crashes onto the hard stone. He grabs the ring, and then with a quick 'pop' he vanishes appearing back at the top on the far balcony from Acerack. The Lich's white pinprick eyes watches all of this with seemingly increasing interest. His raspy voice, "You face a practical demi-god, yet are falling all over yourself chasing after some ring? What is this thing....I suppose I will find out when I pick it off your dead bodies...."
As he speaks and the group rushes about, he is slinging spells in such a rapid fashion it's almost impossible to track him.

Acerack casts a spell, and another blinding blast of electricity explodes, striking Keshma, and then bouncing around striking Mal, Badger, and the Earth Elemental.....
Mal, Badger: Dex Save DC 23 : 42 electrical damage, save for half.
Keshma can't make her save, neither can the earth elemental.
They both get blasted....and are smoking...but continue to stand. However, Keshma 19 DC vs 21 to keep wall of stone up.
The wall of stone vanishes....and the elemental plummets into the lava....with a loud plop...just missing the stone iceberg which is now being slowly consumed by the lava... the elemental takes 48 fire damage....it's still alive, though being dissolved in the lava and it thrashes about.

Mal looks around frantically for any ideas on what to do next and then grabs Sickle's body and makes a run for the stairs and bounds up the steps hopefully avoiding the black sphere and then hiding around the corner passing Silas on her way up.
As he passes Silas she will whisper, "We might want to consider this a lost cause and try and make it out of here with our lives."
Then she will search Sickle's body for anything that she might be able to use in this fight.
Athletics: 18 Acrobatics: 23 To squeeze by Dark Sphere with Sickle's body.
[OOC: Movement and then BA to Run/Dash up stairs out of the room.]
Acerack is quick to react, countering Badger's counterspell with deft skill. Badger collapses...the ring in his grasp clinks to the ground and rolls in a little circle before coming to rest amidst several vases.
Mal leaps away from the lightning blast, avoiding it all. Then he/she bends down, heaves up Sickle and....grunting with the weight of the half-orc druid on her, she manages to get up the stairs, passing Silas on the way...breathing heavily as she ducks aside the immobile black sphere and gets up. The civilian is up here, and backs away quickly, trying to find a spot to hide as she dumps his body on the ground just around the corner. Aside from his ring of feather fall on one finger, she doesn't see anything that will be helpful to the situation.

Seeing that his arrows were doing nothing, Grenk abandoned the bow tactic. He went ethereal and moved towards Acerack while drawing his sword. While in this other space he invoked his radiant power into the sword.
Action: ethrealness ability from unimonkey
Move across towards acerack
Bonus invoke rite of dawn: self damage 4 which will barely touch the hp refresh
Grenk, exhausted, and poisoned, shifts into the ethereal plane. Even here, moving his limbs is sluggish and slow as he slowly shifts through the mists trying to get closer to Acerack. In the blue'ish grey fog he can see everyone, he sees that even here Acerack tracks his movement, his pinprick eyes seem to see all as he watches Grenk slowly approach.
Sickle death save : 9 (2 successes)
Still spinning spells like a maestro, Acerack unleashes three blasts of cold at Keshma.
Keshma is covered in a thick frame of ice, struggling to move in the frigid assault. She glances around, seeing Mal drag Sickle away...Badger collapsed on the far balcony, her elemental dissolving into stone below her, Grenk her 'master' seemingly vanished, and this undead terror with his magical shields blocking her way.
Through chattering teeth she says, "Screw it, I owe you a good thrashing...prepare to get pummelled you ass.......erack...." she grins grimly at her joke, then turns her body into a gaseous mist and slips through the crack in the shield.
Silas uses his bonus action to try to strike with spiritual weapon but literally try for a hail mark as he uses Divine Intervention to try and bring Torn to strike down Acerack.

The mystical fist punches Acerack in the side of the head with a thud. He glances at it, as one would a bug buzzing about its head.
He points a skeletal finger into the middle of the room and mutters an arcane word. A ripple of black deathly energy surges out, washing through everyone in the room.
Badger, Silas, Keshma all take 30 Necrotic damage (DC 23 CON Save for Half).
Badger/Silas CON Save.
Keshma : 26 vs 23.
Keshma struggles to resist the magic, but it doesn't matter, as the necrotic power seeps into her, her gaseous form spell fails and she thumps to the ground in a heap at Acerack's feet.
Grenk, Mal, your actions. (Grenk, if you take a Dash action, you can reach Acerack this round. But of course will not have an action to attack.)
Save or not, Silas death ward will trigger leaving him at 1hp again.

Grenk will dash over to Acerack and pop into existence assuming he can pass whatever barrier was there. With flaming, glowing sword of divine retribution he stands defiantly in his face. Like so trained he's got his shield for defense and sword at the ready.

The deathly energy washes across everyone, including Silas....from which a bright flash issues....all the killing energy deflected as he once again, stands...wavering in spot, but still conscious and resisting each attempt to kill him. He holds up his holy symbol into the air, "Torm....may you hear this prayer.....there is much need for you...the world may hang in the balance!"
Even Acerack seems to pause at this...something so completely beyond his control that he can only wait for a few heart beats for something to happen.
But the thick bubbling of the lava below is the only sound....and nothing happens. A grin creeps across the Lich's face. He mutters in a husky voice, "Your god can not help you here...."
Grenk, still feeling like his limbs are cement manages to struggle forward through the misty ethereal world. As he nears where the wall of force should be, he puts a hand out, expecting resistance, only to move through it easily and arrive on the balcony.
Acerack is there, his white pinprick eyes occasionally checking on Grenk's slow progress as his glance continues to dart about the room, tremendous intelligence weighing options and assessing each and every detail.
