Badger Initiative (and if I roll higher than you guys...): 21 (Haha! Yeah! Counterspell on Sickle! Times two! Haha! In your faces! Attack them, my pretties!)
Badger takes the opportunity to probe deeper into the mind of one of the nothics. Before he does so, he asks the question in Undercommon: How does one exit this dungeon?
If you probe deeper, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 13). If it fails, you gain insight into its reasoning (if any), its emotional state, and something that looms large in its mind (such as something it worries over, loves, or hates). If it succeeds, the spell ends.
Badger checks his pack and sees that he has a flask of holy water, and hands it to Silas.
Badger sees a vision in the nothic's head. He envisions the nothic, from it's point of view, watching a witch going to the curtain at the end and pulling it aside. Her sister shouts at her, "Mind the bones sister!" Then he feels the creatures thoughts as it dies....and a spike of darkness worms its way into his mind...and he shivers.
When the holy water is sprinkled over the body, the man shakes and suddenly awakes. He sits up like a bolt of lightning has struck him and looks around with wide alert eyes, "WHAT? WHO? WHERE THE DEVIL? WHERE DID THE WITCH GO? WHERE AM I? AND WHERE IS MY ARMOR? WHY AM I SITTING IN A BAG?!"

"First breathe. We're not sure what happened to you so you will need to tell us of your situation but you need to breath," Silas states before turning to his party members, "I am fully aware my bedside manner are lacking. Do one of you wish to speak with him?"

The man seems to breath, and looks around, "What horrid place hath I find myself within? Oh....my apologies, how rude. It would seem you've rescued me from some horrid fate, and I'm just blathering here in a panic. Thank you good sir. Your bedside manner seems quite adequate given the situation. My name is Zalder Faelrond, of the Faelrond family of Tethyr. I am a holy knight of Torm and an honored member of the Order of the Gauntlet. My men and I were beset by witches whilst on jungle patrol. As I saw my men fall around me, I heard them say, 'this one seems holy enough for a good sacrifice'...and then....darkness came upon me. Are the foul things near, I say...." he sees the gnome with the skull capped staff. A black sphere seems to be floating behind him. , "I say, whom do I have the honor of being saved by?"

The man stands up, getting out of the bag. In underwear and an undershirt he places his bare feet on the ground, "Oh, well met indeed. It is good to meet another man of god in such a place. However, there is no way I can let you clear this place of evil while I sit on my laurels. No, barefoot and empty handed, I will do my best to assist you, for all our fates are on the line, and I am no shrinking violet."
Indeed, his body is criss-crossed in scars, his body is well muscled beneath the filthy undergarments, and he holds himself like a masterful warrior.

Grenk looks at the man and shrugs. He then pulls out a mace and a handaxe and offers it to the man. "I always have a spare just in case and always feel safer with a weapon in hand."
He takes them both, weighing them and then....keeps them both. "Indeed, well met good .... my, you're large, are you a goliath? I've heard of your people. Mountain folk. Your reputation precedes you. I heard you revelled in the cold of the northern wastes. The jungle must be most uncomfortable for you. Though..." he looks around, "..I suppose we're not in the jungle any longer. Well, thank you for the loan of these fine weapons. With any luck I'll use them to cut and brain our enemies before the day is done!"

He nods to Mal, "Ma'am. It's a pleasure meeting you."
He then seems to notice the 8 slaughtered creatures, still smoking...and the acrid tang of ozone in the air. He wrinkles his nose, "Oh...dear. Quite disgusting. I presume these chained up things were some sort of servants of the witches. Still....chained up like that...quite a nasty business."
Mal walks around the room. It's a fairly good sized chapel...dedicated some some terrible evil god. Images remind you of the undead baby....and you quickly realize this was likely meant to be its eventually place of worship. Otherwise though, the room is uninteresting aside from the black velvet curtain. Behind the curtain is a ten-foot-wide, forty-five-foot-long hallway set with four decorative archways that have blank walls within them. Three paths marked out in red, gold, and purple tile snake along the floor, each leading to one of three archways. A charred skeleton on the floor points to the fourth archway, which has no path leading to it. A single torch burns in a wall sconce at the far end of the hall. Mounted below it is a bronze plaque that bears a warning in Common: "Behold the fate of those who defy me!"
Zalder peaks down the passage past Mal, "Well, that's very odd. And a bit disconcerting. Where did you good folk come from? That misty magical gate back there? Does it lead to a way out?"

Badger pokes his head around the legs of Mal and Zalder and anyone else in the way, and peers down the hallway. Mind the bones, sister, he screeches in an impression of a hag's voice. Then looking at the others he says mysteriously: That's what the hags would say to each other when they entered this hallway. Then looking back into the hall he adds: Perhaps we should leave the skeleton's arch until last. Gold, Red or Purple? Which to try?
Badger gets another quick flash of deja vu from a moment in Waterdeep, not long before he met Silas or Kasaaptu or any of the others. A moment in a furniture shop. The upholstery caught his attention. He knew then that they were some kind of portent of the future. But what did they mean? Were they an omen of doom? A guide to fortune? Purple velvet. Gold leather. But no memory of red. Purple or gold, he mutters. I think ... purple.

That said, I meant to refer of course to how you got into this room, and if there is a way out of this place that way...but...I think, based on your intent to go down this questionable hallway, that the answer must be no."
(Note, the archways only have solid stone inside them, there is no "door" or "portal" or opening of any sort in any of them.)

Grenk looks down the halways at the weaving line. "What kind of BS is that. The lines are all over the place. Bet you we have to walk that exactly or some damn trap will go off."
"Mind the Bones" Mal says out loud, "does that mean don't walk on the paths that skeleton is touching? Or should we ignore all the paths and go for the archway the skeleton is pointing to." As a wry smile crosses her lips she looks at Badger, "If there are any traps in there I think the shortest person should go in and investigate as then the traps would just shoot over his head."
