Solomon pockets the dagger, but hold the comb for a second close to his face, and breathes deeply. It still smelled of her, or them both, of good memories he didn't deserve. He drives the happy thoughts from his mind, and steels himself for the further horrors that likely await him. "We should check the kitchen next", he growls as he moves to leave back the way they came.
As he sees Brocc raising yet more dead, he gives the gnome a withering stare. "It's one thing raising random corpses on the side of the road, another thing entirely raising the bodies of my brothers and sisters..." He pauses for a second, collecting his thoughts and choosing his words carefully. "See that... Make sure that their bodies are given the opportunity to avenge their souls."
"I was hoping you would see it that way." Brocc said with a nod. "I think these might be too sundered to rise though..." He looks over the bodies closer as he tries to decide if casting the spell would work on these bodies or not."
Inspecting the piles, Brocc feels that there is enough to put a few skeletons together. One might be a deer, but it will take a while, unsure of how much time they have here.
(assuming the leaving the bones for now, let me know if the group stays allows time to try and animate the dead - let me know in pm)
Fingolin follows the others looking around for any magical auras, but also trying to spot any signs of recent activity, such as smoking embers or candles, fresh victims, blood that's not quite dried up.

Solomon leading the way to the kitchen back across the hallway. He opens the door and begins to peer in.
Perception check: 11
Upon opening the door, looking up before the door is completely open to trigger the trap. Sees a large metallic bin above the door precariously placed to dump its contents on anyone walking in through the door.
Tennezaz winces slightly as he sees him just kick the door open, staying above the group by walking on the cieling so that he can perhaps fire at their enemies from above in attempt surprise them. "Do try to be more quiet. I would rather not be surrounded by whatever else resides here."
The door slams open and the metal bin goes flying. As the group now sees black powder that would’ve coated the party inside their armor and out splatter all over the ground in the next room. The large ruckus rings out as the metal pan clangs around on the floor until it rests.
deep guttural growling can be heard from inside the kitchen, apparently in this room the sounds of 2 [monster]hell hound[monster]s can be heard. But also something else. A groan or a moan maybe? Humanoid definitely.
The gang waits in the doorway not yet looking inside to see the full site of the room.
You stand in the common room of the bow devil run lodging. Solomon just kicked in the door that sprayed black powder all over coating the walls and floor in the immediate vicinity when walking into the kitchen. You know what lurks around the corner but don’t see them yet. You also hear something else in the room. Cries of pain.
Tennezaz curses as he glares at Solomon for making so much noise. He willmdraw his crossbow while stauing on the cieling. For now he will hold his action and then fire when the first Hellhound comes into the room.
Hearing the cries of pain, Fingolin feels there's no time to waste. He starts picking notes on his lute and his body loses opacity, until invisible. He then walks into the kitchen looking for the source of the cry.
Solomon watches the powder settle, satisfied that whatever it was, it wasn't on him. His brow furrows when he hears the cries though, and he quickly touches the blade of his sword to enchant it with a familiar low rumble. He bashes the pommel of his sword off his shield a few times, and advances into the room in front of the skeletons, hoping to attract the attention of what lies beyond.
Masking his footsteps in the power as to not show his direction, Fingolin feels confident that he is hidden in the corner of the room. He looks down the room room to see two large doglike creatures. Fur black that seems to dust spot off the body with each step.
Standing at about 4.5 feet tall at the shoulder their yellow teeth match their eyes as the begin to snarl and get ready for what’s coming next after the door got kicked in. He also spots two cages hanging from the ceiling. Inside are two charred bodies, one covered in black on the left. On the right you is the body that’s moaning and groaning covered in its own blood and char. His leg hangs through the grates and he is visibly missing his foot that’s been burnt and chewed off. Dirty and matted you can’t see any defining features of his face.
As he takes all that in Solomon rushes in with an army of Skeletons behind him as the bound for the two hellhounds. Unfortunately they don’t have enough time to reach their targets. Solomon holding steady with intent as soon as the hellhounds come near.
The hellhounds both are startled by the sight of the group of living and dead warriors charge in. Staying out where they are they both inhale deeply before releasing a torrent of fire spewing out in fifteen cones, engulfing all of the skeletons, Solomon, both cages, also igniting the black powder on the floor.
Suddenly the entire room is consumed by flames. The heat licking up the walls and bursting out of the open doorframe towards Tennanaz and Brocc
Solomon, and the skeletons all need to make two dexterity saves DC: 12 or take 22 and 26 fire damage. Half on successful saves. The three skeletons in the back take an additional 3 fire damage.
Fingoling - Dex save DC 12 or take 8 fire damage and you are on fire. On a save half damage and your clothes don’t ignite.
More screams come from the cages figure as he is restrained and can’t move out of the way. His skin sizzles some more. The white hot room is now hard to see through, hard to breathe in. The two hellhounds stay where they are

The flames burn Fingolin's skin as his clothes catch fire. He pulls out the Decanter of Endless Water and points it at the ceiling, slightly towards the caged person, hoping the splashing water will reach him too, and says: "Geyser!"
(Decanter says Bonus Action can be used to aim it at a creature or object, I would instead just aim above the cage after the flames around Fingolin and his clothes are doused, if you allow)

"Let's continue onward..." Brocc says. "If Brocc has time he will return here later..."

2... 12
3... 22
4... 6

Rereading damage and the save's don't really matter. Even at half-damage all of the skeletons are taken out.
